 Two sisters, un-alike in anything…
…because their Mama is a friggin' psycho.. Mommie Dearest meets Baby Jane :: 3 lines 1 doe .Last week, on All My Children, borderline (sort of) psychopath First Strike, angered partly by her favourite child having kids without telling her, but mostly by being called a grandma, stalked off to prove a point. The buck she proved a point with remains a mystery, all we know is that he's (at least) yellow, black, purple, with rosette-style markings, and eh don't afraid of blood-soaked does demanding a lay. Possibly being self-preservative, he (emphasis on) left her with these two cute widdle doelets! Aww. Faced with these metaphorical Galinda & Elphaba, and sorely disappointed with her previous clutch calling her grandma, Strike decided to raise these girls personally: the dark one, she would train as her protégé in the bloody ways of sociopathic psycho-killiness, the light one would be mama's little lady. Just 'cause she likes cute girls. Second Nature, the darker doe, will be played by me. Tentatively speaking, she is eager to please her mother, and thus enthusiastically throws herself into her villain's role - but she is not actually very good at it at all, and may actually be squeamish around blood. She probably adores her sister, being led by her mother's treatment to believe the lighter doe is a special being. So this is where you come in… Fig. 1.a. Intended 'little lady', i.e. sac you are fighting for.Incentive: (1) adorable little doe-in-sac that is observably gradiented a beeyootiful creamy yellow to white, with brilliant orange hooves, scales, eye marking, and rosette-esque markings in orange-and-white. (2) Jun's undying love and adoration of and devotion to your new bby. (This may not actually be incentive.) Condition: Must try to be available for famlee RP! . RP Details (or, why Strike isn't the only psycho & I'm so sorry) .
Hello! I am Jun, a being defined primarily by his IssuesTM, one of which is a devotion to the RPing - or at least plotting - of Kin family hijinks! With me, once you are part of the family, you are part of da fameelee, if you know what I mean, Bonasera. I don't ask much, and I always try to keep my creepy-stalker-pesterings to a minimum, but I will hope verily that you will be willing to talk out some family plottings, and partake in some easy family RP where necessary. Good Lord, you may be thinking, this lovely little doe-thang ain't enough to make me want to deal with this psycho. If this is the case, then, regrettably, this contest is not for you, and I am very very sorry about my shortcomings. Ice him, Guido. If you haven't started running yet, I would like you to know I love you and here is the crashcourse:
Jun's RP style: I lean towards short, quick tags, and often gravitate to comedic situations (lots of examples in my Kin journal). My usual RP running mates are Maxx D and Ruriska, who are also adept (far more adept, actually, than me) at the brisk and comedic. These names are also important because they own the immediate Strike family members.
First Strike: Mommie Dearest is not quite right in the head. She was based off a mantis and treats bucks as you would expect (even though it is an ambiguous stereotype of mantises, really). You should probably read her RP Profile and check out this little RP with her to know what you're in for, since she will likely come into play in family RPs.
Air-Strike Family: Primary interaction will probably be with Strike and Second Nature, but since Strike is likely to want to parade her perfect little daughters in front of her useless grandma-calling first clutch, you may need to know that her first mate, featured in the RP linked above, Nose-in-the-Air, and her children, Under Pressure, No Mercy, and Little Poison, exist. No Mercy also recently had a gorgeous clutch, the partial catalyst for Strike's MM fling.
Second Nature: To me, the most important relationship of the bunch is that of the sisters, as there are only two of them and they're so binaristically different. I'd like to keep this relationship focal and intact if possible, though that may be loosely defined, as expounded upon below. To c&p my summary above, "tentatively speaking, she is eager to please her mother, and thus enthusiastically throws herself into her villain's role - but she is not actually very good at it at all, and may actually be squeamish around blood. She probably adores her sister, being led by her mother's treatment to believe the lighter doe is a special being." I, uh, reserve the right to revise her concept but almost certainly won't and will give you lots of advance warning and guilt-stricken apologies if I do. I'll probably be playing her for comedically tragic effect most of the time - tragic as in, 'man. That is so sad.'
Your Bby: Just about anything goes, really. Strike will keep together with the girls when they're young, and will probably continue training Second Nature when she reaches adulthood, but what happens with your bby upon adulthood is up to you. Ideally, she'll keep with at least her sister one way or another, but that can be very loosely defined, and if the concept demands it well enough, something else altogether can happen too. Her character concept is really entirely up to you within the parameters of the scenario I've set up. She can be anything, docile, deceptive, defiant - anything. I like unexpected directions, quirks, hooks, and interesting character flaws. Having said that, even tropes can be fun too if played right, and I have gone for the obvious choice if it's most appropriate. I tend not to favour Sues, Anti-Sues, special snowflakes, fragile flowers, and character 'flaws' that read like 'she's so kind she tries to help everyone even at the expense of her own health until she collapses from sheer exhaustion trying to help everyone without once thinking of herself, etc,' but I probably didn't have to mention that, right? I'm sorry, it's just a lifetime of running shop contests giving me residual nightmares. A-anyway, just make her your own!
Jun, you may be saying, that is kind of a lot of trouble for one sac. And you wrote all that but you're only letting us give you a name and TWO LINES?!?! To which I can only say: You read ALL THAT?! Give my girl a good home!!! ಥᗣಥ (P.S. I'm sorry.)

Sibling Revelry: Triad adores both her mother and sister all while finding them rather stagnant in being so single-minded and thus a little boring.

Character Concept: Charm is Momma's little angel until Momma's not around-- then she's self-centered, headstrong, and manipulative, even dabbling in Strike's bloodier tendencies, but always taking care to remain charming and ladylike on the surface.
Sibling Revelry: Charm and Nature are the closest of sisters and confidants, but while their relationship is loving, it also mutually recognizes Charm as the superior sister -- Charm is thus the leader, the authoritative decision maker (sometimes bully) who always gets her way, and Nature the supportive follower whose objections, if listened to, are oft-overruled.

Character Concept: Rethink thinks the world revolves around her, just as she was raised to believe, but what she's incapable of comprehending is that she's just a spoiled, selfish brat.
Sibling Revelry: Rethink's entire worldview is propped up by her mother and her sister; she might loathe them, but she can never leave them.

Name: Third Wish
Character Concept: Fragile, Final is not – if only her mother and sister would realize that, along with the fact that Final is just as capable when it comes to killing as First Strike (and much more than Second Nature) – she just needs to prove it to them.
Sibling Revelry: Final loves her sister - they’re family and Second Nature has never done anything but adore her, but she hates her sibling as well, because Second Nature has been trained to see Final as ‘special’, and Final wants to get her hooves bloody like the rest of the family.

Sibling Revelry: A tireless cheerleader for her hardworking sister, Fallout knows Second Nature will become a terrifying, unstoppable villainess some day: a desire born from both sibling love and perhaps an invested interest in having a loyal warrior sister by her side.

Character Concept: Last is pretty much her sister's opposite, blood and guts are her thing, something she hides from dear mommy.
Sibling Revelry: Last would be bffs with her sister, and offer to help however she can, though there would be some resentment at having to hide her true self from First Strike.

Character Concept: She's smiling -- and it's a wonderful smile, really-- but there's something in the way the light falls in her eyes, almost flatly, that makes you hesitant to return the expression.
Sibling Revelry: She used to be so angry when her sister got credit for the carcasses their mother would find around their den, but in the end she loves her sister dearly -- after all, Second Nature is as much her creation as their mother's.

Character Concept: Endure can tell that Mother is not all there in the head, and despises that she and her wonderful sister are caught in roles that neither of them asked for; it is her sole goal in life to fight her way out and win freedom for her and Second Nature.
Sibling Revelry: Absolute love and adoration tinged with an overbearing possessiveness, Once More with Feeling wants nothing more than the two of them to be free to live how they want to live- Together.

Character Concept: Self-centered because of her upbringing that has led her to believe that she is a blessing to the Swamp in kin form, but stil remarkably charming in a snobby, stuck up way, Trinity objectifies everykin else seeing them as shiny, but essentially valueless, things to be hoarded in a chest with more locks than one could ever imagine picking, essentially she is a kin hoarder and whenever she meets a kin, she doesn't evaluate them based on their merits, but how they will look with the rest of her collection, and when she wants something she gets it, through any means.
Sibling Revelry: Second Nature, and First Strike to a lesser extent, are the only two kin that Trinity doesn't see as objects, and as such treats them better than she does any other kin, though she does see them as kin put in the swamp to dote on her and give her everything she wants; she also doesn't understand why Second Nature is squeamish even if she wouldn't want the blood to actually get on her; "Why does it matter if those things bleed? It shouldn't matter to you, only I should matter."

Character Concept: Dopey and doe-eyed, she uses the guise of perfection to get what she wants, when she wants it - unfortunately, this naivete is no act.
Sibling Revelry: Too oblivious to notice Second Nature's assumed villainy, Seconds Behind will worship the dirt her sister treads upon, much to her meddling family's dismay.
