It was rare for Jamii'binti to be able to pry herself away from her family. Nevermind that her family was large in its current generation, but they typically liked to hang around with one another for the most part. She was fairly certain her parents were planning to have another litter soon as well. Though the only real evidence she had on that was because her father adored cubs, and kept on moping that he didn't have any more right now. His children were all grown up into capable lions, after all! Her mother, though, had gone through two large litters, so maybe her father was out of luck. Personally, J'B couldn't imagine wanting children when there was so much life to live without being tied down!
The young lioness shook her head with disbelief. Her family was an odd bunch, but she loved them all. However, that did not mean she didn't want a break from them. It was kind of nice to sneak away to be on her own, and it was far more thrilling to have none of her siblings watching her back! J'B grinned, and jogged forward to put more distance between herself and her ridiculously large family. Everything about the Pridelands was familiar, so it was hard for her to find an area that was new and intriguing. Her parents were probably surprised that she didn't wander off more often, considering that she was no longer a cub and fully capable of taking care of herself.
She paused underneath a tree, blue eyes sweeping across the Pridelands towards where she knew the border was. Ah, if only she had that final push to dare her out of the safety of her homelands. She'd very much like to see the world! It had to be a lot less boring than the lands she was so familiar with. There were probably animals she had never seen before, terrains that the bottom of her paws had never felt! The idea was so very thrilling to the young lioness.
