Holy cow I just came back from my biology midterm. And I've got two other midterms this week plus a lab session, so I'm practically all over the place (evident as I write this post). Now I'm over the freaking moon!

I would never have thought that someone would actually draw art of my OCs. This really made my night. Again, thank you!

I really need to get off my butt and actually draw a profile picture myself someday...

Let us say thanks to soundcloud for holding on to my composition before my computer crashed, so I was able to re-obtain it.

Also, guess whose work is gonna get used in a Donkey Kong Country fan game. My latest work is the swamp theme, for at least one level.

The cow was screencapped. Nothing survived. Literally nothing. But I'm super excited. They're using my swamp theme, and the fusion of Mine Cart madness and Mining Melancholy is also being used, though that level isn't in the demo. I just can't believe I have stuff being used in a fan game. There's another composer, and his tracks are stronger than mine because his style lends itself better to the DKC soundfonts and his mixing is better, but I have my strengths in being someone whose work is melody driven. I'm gonna have to keep competing with him for spots on the soundtrack, so a lot of my work for the next little bit is probably going to be specifically for this fan game, and trying to trump out this other guy.

You'll do great! The other question is if the game is fun or not. Good music deserves to be in a good game. (Some games actually are memorable only because of the music being good.)

Has the game developer ever set a due date to get everything ready? How many more tracks do you intend to compose?

There's no release date so far. They're working o releasing a beta demo soon, which contains my swamp theme at least, but I don't even know when that's due.
