Vinata quickly made her way from the forest floor up to the tree tops on her mission to find Silron after her morning of an uneventful hunt. Though, that was mainly due to her having zero desire to harm a family of hogs and thinking about Silron the whole time after that encounter. She hadn't really tried to catch anything else after that, her mind was simply focused on one thing and that was him. As she made her way rather quickly through the center of the pride and in the direction of the hammocks her tail wrapped around her back left leg. She wasn't sure if he was up yet or not, though she assumed he probably was.

When she finally reached the hammocks and more specifically his she stopped in her tracks and just stared at it. What did she do now? Wait for him to come out or get him to come out? Was he even in there? Very quickly she realized she hadn't thought this through very well. He was a warrior and honestly probably needed as much sleep as he could get, if he was indeed still sleeping. "Ohhh." Vinata said, scrunching up her nose a bit. What was a lioness to do at a time like this? Taking in a deep breath then exhaling she laid down on a branch. Waiting seemed like the best idea at the moment since she couldn't decide otherwise.

User Image Silron and his father were sitting below mother tree, looking at some scratchings of possible changes in the border due to some fallen trees. Eytucan was hunched over low, drawing with his paw; while silron nodded and said something quietly to his father. He hadn't been able to sleep and had left his hammock abandoned to talk to his father more about plans. Anything to keep his mind in the game and not about staring into space... and of Vinata.

Eytucan straightened up and pointed to a location on the dirt map. "See, here is where that last storm took out our border and ruined the watering hole... so we will be extending it slightly; not far enough to bother anyone but close enough to keep us safe. We won't be flooding into the Jini'msemi lands. I have yet to go and talk to their leader... but we won't make permanent lines until that is settled."

He drew a line across the map. "My recollection is that the border used to be here a long time ago." He nodded his head approvingly.

"Yes... I recall you saying that as a child... We have grown considerably"

As Vinata laid there for several minutes she began to realize that Silron wasn't going to come out of his hammock. Maybe he wasn't there. A loud sigh escaped from her lips as she made her way back from the hammocks, slightly beaten. What was she doing? She had just seen 'Zem last night. What was the hurry to see him again today? They did have their own duties to do within the pride after all. Vinata straightened herself up and puffed up her chest a tiny bit. She needed to do her job and hunt something. Besides, the frustration with herself seemed to be a good justification to go anyways.

With quick footsteps Vinata made her way down the home tree, on the opposite side of where Silron and his father were. When she reached the forest floor she was absorbed heavily in her own thoughts, not even realizing that she could have heard Silron'zem and his father Eytucan on the other side of the tree talking if she had been paying attention. "That was so silly." She muttered to herself a bit loudly as she walked around to the side of the home tree, following one of the various trails that would lead her into a separate part of the forest that she had skipped out on earlier. "Need to think things through more." Vinata stopped not more then a foot from Silron and his father, still oblivious that they were there and looked down at her front paws, extending her claws out to check and make sure that they were indeed as sharp as she would need them to be.

Silron hadn't noticed that the woman that had stolen his heart was near by. He was busy speaking in terms with his father. "So we haven't spoken to the queen of the swamps... perhaps we should plan that sort of thing... Visiting them. I know it probably isn't something they do normally, but we need to have some sort of ally in the case of another attack. I am sure they would appreciate an equal idea; safety for them if they need."

"I have discussed it with others... and I have decided to do this. We need the ally, it is true. I just hate to leave the pride. So I have decided to bring two or three with me and leave everyone else here. Just an escort will probably do." He made an arch across the left. "We will exit around here, closest to the swamp pride-" He paused, his head lifting at Vinata rounded the corner. He smiled, clearing his throat and tossing his nose in her direction.

Silron looked up at his fathers beacon and smiled.

"Hello Vinata." Eytucan spoke, sitting back on his haunches and relaxing himself. He smiled and looked to his son and then back to her. "I see you daughter."

"I see you Vinata." Silron also said in greeting; though he looked very warmed by his fathers gesture

At the sound of her name Vinata of course lifted her head and looked in the direction from which it had come, turning her body to face whoever it was as well. Her surprise was quickly tossed aside as a smile crept over her maw. However, her mind was far from as composed as she looked. Her head filled with questions, but the prominent one was did Eytucan really just call her daughter and how in the heck did she respond? Then finally her composure melted and she looked over at Silron, then back at Eytucan, doing this at least three times. Quickly and without much more thought Vinata blurted out her next sentence a little louder then her normal tone. "I see you father. I see you Silron'zem." And then with that a very, very black color flushed her normally gray face and signified that she was blushing.

"I--Uhhmm.." Vinata said looking between them once more. "You're busy... I'll just go..." Vinata said bowing slightly and starting to turn away from them as she was now not quite sure what to do and going over in her head how she had probably said the wrong thing and was probably going to be thrown to the most ravenous beast by Eywa for saying what she said to the King. Oh god. Had she done it this time. When had her mouth become an open trap. Curse her foolery.

Silron smiled in her direction; when she lifted her head and their eyes met. He smiled, giving her a gentle nod of assurance, not wanting her to feel freaked out. He smiled even wider when she replied with father. He looked giddy, his paws could barely contain themselves. "Vinata!" He said simply, abandoning the drawing on the ground and going to her; his eyes alight. "No it's cool.. you can stay..." He said simply, though he wasn't sure what she's be interested in. He chuckled, coming to a realization of this.

"Eh... erm.... well... I don't know if this would interest you..." he looked back to his father and the war plans; future war plans. "I erm... Father... I'd like to interrupt our plans for this please?" He looked to Vin. "We can go back to it... this is more important."

Eytucan smiled at seeing her awkwardness at his very abrupt calling of kin. He watched as Silron abandoned his original interest for her and this made Eytucan confidant in his sons choice of females. He smiled, standing up and walking over to the couple with a very hearty grin. "Hello Vinata... I am glad to finally meet you. Though I have seen you from time to time; it's nice to talk face to face..." He said in greeting, sitting down beside his son and future daughter.

"And yes silron. We can wait on the plans. We don't have to worry about an invasion any time soon so it's okay." He looked a bit tickled at his son; but didn't say anything about it. "As long as none of the children ruin the sketch."

Still slightly uneasy, Vinata simply smiled back when Silron padded over to her. "Oh.. Ummm.." She said, looking into Silron's eyes for a moment before looking at Eytucan. Oh dear of all mightyness. Why did this seem so hard? Maybe it was because she hadn't mentally prepared herself for this meeting, in fact, it was quite out of the blue. Then again, completely her fault for stomping in on their meeting. Vinata stifled a sigh and instead gently and ever so slightly brushed her shoulder against Silron as if trying to draw strength from him.

"Hello Eytucan, It's nice to meet you as well." Vinata said with a sincere smile though she wasn't sure if calling him by his name was entirely correct either. Oh well. She had said it and there was nothing she could do now.. And then a light laugh came from the lioness. "It seems like cubs have an extra sense that draws them to you after saying such things." She joked, though in truth it was true at least in her eyes. When you mentioned them they soon appeared and ruined whatever you didn't want them to ruin. Then again they were so fluffy and cute what could you do? Vinata looked to Silron. While she said nothing, her eyes were filled with love and sparkled. Instead a very quiet purr came from her chest for a moment.

He chuckled and pressed himself against his black beauty; absolute adoration in his eyes at her addressing his father in such a lovely way. It was literally like the warrior in him disappeared and a dancer or a singer took it's place. He felt a bit cheesy grin spread across his cheeks as he looked too his father. "They tend to shy away from him at first and then soften up to him and adore him after a while... so I have noticed."

Silron gave a chuckle and pressed his head into hers. "Cubs will be cubs. Doesn't help the latest cubs are Petra's and we all know how she is with Pietr; they have no fear of authority..." He nodded his head.

It was true... Eytucan could not deny the fact that the children eventually viewed him as an idol half the time. There was no doubt in his mind that soon the drawing would have new art too it from the young ones. "It's true..." He said simply, watching the couple and reminding himself he needed to do that to Zelt'sin more often. He smiled. "And you can call me father dear."

He didn't really like to have his title or his real name used unless everyone had too... it made him feel... old. He tossed his mane and eyed his son for a moment; before chuckling. "It's like you were not raised a warrior my son; when you look upon her I see you soften..." He nodded his head.

Vinata beamed a large grin at Eytucan. "I can understand how they feel." She said before she nodded, her nerves drifting off slowly. "O-Okay. Father." Vinata replied before looking at Silron. "That's true. Though, I'm not sure that's really a bad quality to have." Vinata paused. "Well, once they are beyond the fluffy stage."

Did she really just say that out loud. Vinata shook her head. "I mean cub stage." She gave a sheepish grin to both her mate and father. Then she looked back at Silron. In all honesty, she hadn't seen him 'soften up'. It seemed like since their first meeting something within them was already drawn to the other. But then again maybe there had been a change in him. A much louder purr erupted from her when Silron pressed his head into hers. Then once more she looked at her new father. "Maybe one day soon there will be cubs again that can show others their age you aren't as scary as you seem." She said before nudging Silron in a way that hopefully would be subtle enough his father wouldn't notice.

Silron blinked his eyes at his fathers remark and looked a bit stunned; not sure what his father was getting at. He looked to Vin and back to his father; looking confused. Was his father insinuating that he wasn't as... strong and warrior like around her? He looked to Vinata. "Erm... I guess that means she speaks to me in ways others don't." He said simply, in reality it was true. He felt like she was a bright spot in the void that was his dark black warrior life. She grabbed his attention. She called out to him even when silent.

He looked a bit sheepish when she mentioned cubs; as he had been thinking about it but hadn't said anything... that was if she meant themselves and not others... or even his parents... who he had suspected were trying to have cubs again. "Erm... Yeah... Cubs." He looked a bit flabbergasted.

Eytucan was getting a kick out of his son's reaction to everything. He gave his daughter in law a wink and smirked to his son. "Perhaps your cubs someday Silron." He said simply, nodding. "Little grand cubs to ruin all my drawings.. and to call me 'Pop Pop'... and to tell stories too.." He looked a bit dazed at that thought as well. "Especially if Zelt and I are to be expecting soon... Sssssh. Don't tell anyone." He added with another wink.

He stood up and gave himself a shake. "I suppose I will let you two be... I would like to go discuss a few things with Pietr... you two enjoy the rest of your night... alright!" He said, wanting to hear their goodbyes before he left

Vinata had to admit it was funny to see Silron in her paws for a minute or two. Being totally flabbergasted and just totally out of the loop. She would certainly have to note this moment for later teasing, all in good fun of course. "Regardless, you're the best warrior." Vinata said as she gently rubbed his neck with her head. So maybe she was a bit biased, but who cared?

When she noticed Eytucan wink she beamed a bit more. "That is great news!" She said with a new found excitement. Then she winked back. "I won't tell anyone you're secret." Vinata smiled and looked at Silron. "Maybe soon you'll have to become a nanny instead." She joked, laughing a bit. Then her attention was back on her father to be. "Thank you.. For everything." Vinata said, hinting at him meeting with her and also for being on their side, for their relationship. "I'll try not to keep him away to long." She said before nodding her head. "Good luck."

Eytucan took his leave from the couple; happy that his son had found someone important too him.

Silron however looked worried. 'A nanny?" He mumbled as they left.

HORRIBLE FIN
