And what now (Soiree and Arenui)

Arenui’s eyes widened for a fraction of a second as the female pulled him into the water. Luckily he managed to avoid getting a mouthful of water but when he reemerged a second later he was not a happy camper. He glared at the female and decided next female or male that came across he was just going to leave to the bears to eat.
“Mmm I wonder why” he said in a dead pan tone. He sighed as his hair plastered to his face. He looked up and wondered what the hell was going through her mind. Actually no, this was precisely why he didn’t try to understand others, although was she actually trying to cheer him up… this girl was so weird. However he did give her a light splash with his tail again.

Frowning at the male, the woman sighed and tilted her head, resting her head on the side of the springs.

"You've been alone for a long time, haven't you?" She questioned, splashing gently back. "You don't get many visitors, either, right?" The girl had decided to let him be, sleep was coming and she might as well accept it when it decided to attack. Still, she viewed him with a frown, head shaking.

“Pretty much since Birth, My mother wasn’t the most maternal creature out there” Arenui stated. He blinked having long ago accepted the fact he had been abandoned on the beach.
It was why he often liked just being alone. After all everyone either held you back and you paid for it with your life or they just abandoned you. “Oh I get visitors all the time, most of the time I’m fighting them off” he said in a sarcastic tone. However he did know that she was quickly loosing cabin pressure. “You should get some sleep

The woman eyed the other, ears flipping back as she moved to his side. She didn't touch him, though a sympathetic glance was given. She knew better than to apologize for his mothers actions. However, it made sense why he was like this now. Alone. Like her, except she dealt with it by constantly sleeping. At least she had her brother.... Too. What was it like to be alone?

"Yeah." She murmured, suddenly leaving the water and shaking herself off. Turning to view him, she yawned and flopped right onto the ground.

"You should sleep, too." Her voice held a hint of worry. Just a hint. Flipping her ears back and shivering as a rush of cold slithered its way around her she decided to press into a tiny ball for the night.

Apparently it looked like his visitor had her own family problems; however that was her own secret. He wasn’t even going to delve into asking about any family history. Stuff like that was best left one, or left to the other foxes discretion. Besides the likelihood was she had also gotten over to it. It’s not like much else could be done. Plus it was hardly much of a topic for strangers who might not see each other much longer.
He nodded and pulled himself out of the water, it was a bit cold but easily adjustable after a while. He gave her a nod and watched as she situated herself. She looked a bit cold, however he knew that the rocks emitted some heat from the hot springs so she would be warm again in a few minutes.
He shook his head wondering why he was caring again before turning to go to his own bed, not like it was any great lengths away from the hot spring. “Just call I guess if you need anything” he offered before continuing to his bed..

The women flicked her tail in response, humming back before closing her eyes. It would be lucky if she woke up before evening struck... Lazy as hell. Still, the male was interesting and she might rouse herself from sleep just to see how he was doing....

When the sun came and she heard chirping the woman hid back into her paws. Nope. Not waking up. Nu-uh. She groaned and rolled over, hoping both that the rain wouldn't ruin her log or... Oh. Wait, she was in the cave. The cave? Whose cave? Arenui's cave? Yes? Who was Arenui? Oh. Her savior! Yes!

..... But right now she could sleep some more, yes.

Arenui awoke to the sound of his semi bird friend torii who let out a chirp of happiness that his fox friend was off before glowing and flying off to whatever tori did. Arenui yawned and stretched out his muscles before getting up. He could hear the rain hitting the top of the cave so he still knew the storm was raging again. Well that just meant that breakfast would consist of fish.

It was then that another smell caught his attention, ah that was right he had rescued that troublesome woman yesterday from the bear and then she had almost drowned in said storm. Well he was glad to see that she was warmer now and still asleep. He was perfectly fine with that as that meant she wouldn’t ask questions, give him looks or talk. He should probably get her some fish as well.

Mmmm. Movement. Awh dammit, she didn't want to get up. Her head raised slightly as eyes opened lazily to view the now awake male. Briefly, very briefly, she considered getting up. Instead she simply rolled onto her side, showing her back to the male.

"Mornin'." She slurred before curling against the nearest wall. Just give her five.... ten... seventy more minutes. After all, the fact she even woke up and talked to another fox yesterday was a shocker, being lazy and all. This was more like it...

And so she fell right back to sleep, though in a deep sleep that would probably worry most that perhaps she was dead.

Arenui raised an eyebrow at her sleepiness but didn’t make any more judgments at least she wasn’t being nosy and running around being all hyper like yesterday. Besides that would allow him to check if any damage was done to his cave and how bad the storm was outside to see if he wanted to risk hunting there or going after his fish.
“Morning” he said unconsciously, as he walked by focused on the tasks before him, normally he would have just glared at her. As he began walking towards the cave the pain in his leg came back and he looked at the leaf bandage that the female had made yesterday. Well it seemed to be holding up pretty well and at least he wasn’t bleeding all over the place.
Walking towards the entrance he sighed at the downpour and strong winds that occasionally howled through the opening, looks like the storm was still going on pretty strong so fishing it was. Luckily he wouldn’t have to go into any of the salt water pools

She woke up an hour or two lately, curling her tail around her back leg as she slowly began to realize he was gone. She knew he'd come back, but he'd need new wrappings. So, outside she went to grab what she needed. This time, hopefully, she wouldn't get flooded!

By the time she returned he wasn't back, but that was fine. She began to crush the herbs and prepare the new bandage for the male, tail flicking lazily. She wasn't used to moving around this much! Heck, why was she again? Because he was fun to be around/? Because she enjoyed his company?

"Arenui." She called when she was done, making sure that if Arenui was around he would hear her and come over. He needed a new bandage, and she was just barely awake enough to apply his herbs.
