You're supposed to guess what the underlined word means.

Now let's assume for the purposes of my anger that you don't know what the word means, and that it's not a trick question.

Don't use a dictionary and just say what you'd answer on your gut feeling. You have 15 seconds left on the clock, so think fast.

100. Reading that book made me concupiscent.

A. angry
B. depressed
C. lustful
D. happy
E. confused

What letter would you put down? The answer is C.

UHHH... UHHH....

My final answer is D!

I legitamately don't know that word and can't see C or E being of relevance to book endings, so that leaves the most logical answer being the book ending poorly or happily. The latter is more likely than the former, and that is my logic behind my shot in the dark.

Looking at the word rather than the definitions, you can figure it out. What the hell kind of question is that?

I would put C because it's con- which is with
cupi which reminds me of cupid.

Haha, I guessed C because when I don't know the answer I instinctively put C.

@ Toon, That was my logic too.

@ Kitty, It was an English question most likely written by scientists. No wonder. The sentence is absolutely pointless. They might as well just ask us at point-blank, 'What does concupiscent mean?"

@ Prince, No way. You would honestly think of that with all of the other red herrings with 15 seconds left for the last question?

@ 3mo, emotion_facepalm I should've done that. Just trusted the letter C.

As Vork from the Knights of Good would say: Majority of test answers are C.

After having spent days on freerice, I always try to go about looking for definitions by that means. Also because I am really interested in mythology, so many words from those backgrounds appear in everyday language so it isn't really a problem for me when trying to define words.

Like flauccinaucinihilipilification.

And how often does that come up in conversation, Prince?

Perhaps the question would have better been phrased as "Reading that fanfic made me feel concupiscent."

Many college students floccinaucinihilipilificate a good night's sleep.
