Sunlit Rock grumbled to herself as she lay in the grass, pondering what she could do. Amber had wondered off some time ago with the twins, which Sunlit Rock could understand, since the allure of the lake had been quite tempting. However, despite much urging from Amber, Sunlit Rock had decided to say behind. While the sun felt nice, without her normal company it was almost... boring. Sighing she shifted and looked around, taking in the sights. There wasn't much to see, despite being a grassy hill. When she had found this she had been expecting something amazing, I mean, a grassy hill that wasn't filled with water? How often did one find that? Sighing again she plucked a piece of grass out of the ground and blew, wondering if it would make a sound. Maybe she could attract something with a grass whistle?
After a while she was pretty ready to give up. She had been sitting there, trying to make this thing sing to no avail. The most she had gotten was an awkward scree that had exited the blade for a second before dying into the wind. Shifting it in her teeth once again she blew and the grass fell limp. Sighing, she opened her teeth, allowing the blade to fall and picked a new one. Shifting it into the position of the last piece of grass she blew... and nothing. Wondering if it was to short she spit it out and picked a longer piece, grabbing it near the ground. Shifting it near the middle of her mouth she tried again. A small whistle seemed to erupt, but promptly became the sounds of hissing breath. A bit annoyed but finally getting somewhere she shifted it again and blew.

He had been nipping away at some fresh grass not too far away when he felt the wind pick up. Lifting his head, he closed his eyes as he felt the breeze pass by, tickling his neck. It was as if someone was tenderly stroking him with tender care, and he sighed softly at the touch. And as it passed by the grassblades beneath his ear, a soft whistling sound was heard, making his watersnake Earthbound perk up and turn towards him.
Grasswhistle laughed. It was probably the only way he could get the snake's attention. Other than that, the poor thing never listened to him. He shook his head, and leaned his head back against the wind, hearing it make the soft whistling sound again. But... something was different. He opened his eyes and his ears twitched as he listened. No, that sound wasn't coming from him. It sounded somewhat similar, yet different in a way.
He turned his head and looked around. Where could it be coming from?

"Ah-hah!" Sunlit Rock grinned in triumph after her blade of grass finally released a thin, yet clear whistle. She had finally mastered this insignificant grass blade, and it would play it's music for her! Blowing again she sighed as no sound emerged, only to create a perfect whistle. Shocked for a moment she sighed again, and once again it created it's clear sound. Annoyed, but still content she sighed into the grass a few more times. Might as well get the most out of it while it still worked.
After it's sound began to die she plucked a few more pieces and shoved them all between her lips, blowing into them in a vain attempt to create a grass chorus. After a few whistles, whines, and general lack of sound she began moving her tongue and lips to try and change the tone and amount of grass making noise. She was failing horribly, and probably looked like an idiot, but it's not like anyone was around to see her.
