Menlusa Diet Poison Dracula by Bram Stoker. I've been interested for years, but never got around to obtaining a copy. Can't seem to get far without being interrupted, though. Oh em gee. I went through a 'classic monster' phase a year ago and Dracula was the last one I read of that list. And while I love frankenstein, dorian grey, etc, dracula was just horrible to me personally. It took me a handful of days with the other ones, but it took me a year to finish stoker.
I've heard it's slow in the beginning, so I'm going to push through and give Dracula a chance.
Thanks to being forced to do so many papers on Frankenstein in high school, I haven't been able to finish that particular book.
Then again, I love The Phantom Of The Opera, and that one can be slow as well. We'll see what I think of it when I have a chance to get through it.

[[The Kneebone Boy by Ellen Potter. Kind baby-ish for my reading level and usual reads, but the cover got me interested. Shy/mysterious looking long haired boys are my weakness.
I have a HUGE reading list i need to deplete over this break... Curse of the Wendigo, Ship Breaker, The Hunger Games, Ranger's Apprentice, the absolute value of -1, Sweetly, Count of Monte Cristo, The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Dante's Inferno, etc.]]

Diet Poison I might try it as an audio book, so I can listen to it while I do stuff. Dracula isn't bad so far...it's just like, get to the point already! I don't care what someone had for dinner or breakfast, unless it affects the story. I'm getting BioShock: Rapture for Christmas, though, so every other book is going to have to wait. rofl
That's probably a good idea, haha. And EXACTLY. Good luck with both Dracula and BioShock!
Your reading list intrigues me, and I just wrote down a couple. I read the first two hunger games, and they sated the great harry potter hole in my soul. Also the Count of Monte Cristo is FABULOUS. One of my favorite books.
I feel like I hijacked this thread a little, haha I get a little too excited over books D:
