Murky Shallows watched as the sun reflected off the clear lake. From his position under a large tree, the bright sun was dulled, leaving a crisp gray area. Laying beside him was his twin sister, who had fallen asleep in the cool shade. The two of them were rather good at finding clear bodies of water, though the task became easier the farther from the the swamp center they moved. This place was closer to the edge of the swamp, which itself made the possibilities of lakes much more likely. Watching as a small dragonfly flew past his nose and settled on a nearby flower he felt his sister shifting next to him. Glancing over he noticed a troubled look on her face, and as she began to twitch in aggravation he nudged her gently to wake her up. "Sister..."Watery Depths felt the cold dark push in around her as she sank beneath the waves, beginning to struggle against it's pull she suddenly heard her brothers voice. Pulling herself from sleep she looked up to see her brother looking down at her. Feeling the pull of sleep leave her she began to shake, the fear of the memory dreampt creeping up upon her. Snuggling herself closer to her brothers side she shivered for a few more moments before eventually managing to calm herself down. Looking back up at him she smiled. "Thanks for waking me."Murky Shallows nodded, smiling back down at his sister. "Of course. Was it the dream again?"Watery Depths nodded, looking over toward the lake. "Seems no matter how long it's been, it always feels the same." Standing up she slowly she stretched and pawed at the grass. "I think that's enough sleep for now."Murky Shallows smiled and stood up as well, nudging her gently with his hoof. "It'll be alright. I'm here to protect you."Watery Depths chuckled a little and pushed her twin playfully with her shoulder. "Let's see if we can catch some fish."

Air Power followed behind the foxbun as they traveled away from the more populated area of the swamp. It wasn't so strange for her to follow Jumper. He was just as curious as she was when it came to find new things.
The two of them were moving at a steady pace such as it was to search for a rock that they could put in their little den. As they stepped closer, the foxbun started to point towards the clearing and still stay hidden behind the small amount of foliage. "What is it my friend? Why are you hiding, silly?" The doe stepped further out and spotted the twins in the near distance. Her tail flicked in curiously as she watched them. Shadows Rock glared at the wasp. It was just plain wrong for something like that to sting him..HIM on the rump. It seemed to be the right of it. Ground shouldn't have really attempted the joke on Love Hurts. There was always something to sting him in the rump for the wrong reason, just so happened that it seemed to be closer than normal.
The large insect flew around the buck, buzzing at him for doing such a cruel thing. He was loyal to Ground. It wasn't that he didn't mind the joke, it was the fact there was suppose to be water closer. "Come on. You can't still be mad at me. I told you that it was near, not right around the tree." Before much else could be said, a blueish foxbun jumped around the tree, followed by a blue doe. They walked right past the two grey creatures. Love Hurts flew above and followed them, buzzing happily as he spotted the clear water.

Watery Depths approached the water, looking around the shallows for small fish she could snatch up. Just as she caught a glimpse of one she thought she heard something, a rustling or buzzing sound.
Murky Shallows paused as his sister approached the water. He could hear the sound of several animals approaching. Glancing out into the foliage he saw some moving bushes and a wasp hovering overhead. Watching for a moment to see what they would do he saw two kin follow behind. Examining them for a second he nodded in greeting. "Come to join us?" He asked, he had stepped between them and his sister almost instinctively and was obviously wondering what their intentions were. Her dream and uneasiness had him on edge, and that caused him to be a bit suspicious.
Pausing for a moment before turning around upon hearing her brother speak, she say the newcomers. She simply watched them for a moment and walked closer to her brother, mostly to get a better view but also because she was still uneasy from her dream. Normally she would have spoken but she wasn't really in the mood for company, her brother notwithstanding.

Air Power walked out a bit further, but watched the twins. It seemed to her that the buck was protecting his sister. Not wanting to scare them off she smiled. "If it wont be any trouble. Me and Jumper here were just out exploring a bit more." At that point, the foxbun started doing what he did best, jump.
Love Hurts hovered above the doe and foxbun, until Jumper started jumping. He was not going to be dinner to something like that. The wasp flew off above the water, watching himself in the reflection of the water.
Shadows Rock moved a bit closer, noticing the same thing as Air Power. "If you don't mind. I did sort of promise that guy up there he would find his water." He turned to regard the other doe. It seemed that each of them resembled their companion in some way or another.

Watery Depths smirked a bit, watching the foxbun begin to jump. Looking up as the wasp flew over her head and out above the water she smiled. "Don't scare away any fish now." She direction jokingly at the wasp, glancing down at the water again. "Don't mind us, we're just visiting, same as you."
Murky Shallows seemed to visibly calm as his sister began to speak, and glanced back at her. Nodding at the two new kin and their companions he motioned to the lake. "Hungry?" He asked suddenly, watching the two kimeti for an answer.
"We're going to be catching some fish." Watery Depths explained, sounding a bit amused at her brother's question to the newcomers. "I guess it would be rude to not invite you to join us." She glanced at her brother. He was always so polite. Looking back at the other two she also waited for an answer, smirking once more as the foxbun jumped.

The foxbun perked up even more at the offer of food. Air looked down at him and laughed. "It appears that he is offering to help get food." Nudging Jumper so he would get something else for them, the doe watched the surrounded areas. She might go to find other things and follow Jumper, but was still on guard.
Her eyes strayed to the wasp over the water. She didn't want to get too close to it, at least not any time soon.
The wasp dropped down to skim the waters surface, all Ground could hear was the buzz of wings over water for a little bit. He turned his head and dropped his joy as Love Hurts brought up a small fish. Well the fish was small to the kimeti, but it was fairly large for the wasp.
"Apparently, the foxbun isn't the only one trying to help." The mostly grey buck stepped into the water going to help bring the wasp back with the fish. "Thank you for asking us." At least the pets were helping getting food, well at least it appeared that way. Who could really say with the wasp.

"I guess we will have a feast then." Watery Depths smirked and approached the water. Pausing and glancing up at the wasp she looked at the new buck. "Will he mind? Us approaching the water I mean." She eyed the wasp's stinger carefully. "I don't want to be stung."
Murky Shallows moved closer to the waters edge, pawing at the ground near a few rocks. Digging into the ground he began to unearth a few thick roots which he knew would be good for eating. A little bitter, but still sweet enough to stomach without incident. Pulling aside several of the juicy roots he continued his task, pushing aside the dirt to uncover more.

Jumper spotted what Murky Shallows was doing and jumped over to help him. His paws worked best to dig at the dirt. Looking up at the buck, the foxbun gave a mud covered smile, while holding up some roots.
Air Power moved to the edge of the water, watching the fish swim around. As one swam past, she waited and sighed as it was too fast for her. "Sounds interesting. And I agree, I don't want to be stung by your wasp either." She was rather close to his area and that stinger was pretty sharp looking.
Ground smiled at the doe, "Love there wont hurt you. At least if you don't go after his food." He nodded towards the area of water the wasp was hovering above. "At the most he will just tickle you with his wings, unless you are me." He laughed as he knew it was the truth.
"My name is Shadows Rock and will be happy to let him sting me if it means more fish for all of us." The grey buck said with a great showing bow.

Watery Depths looked at the buck as he explained, giving him an odd look during his bow but subsequently ignoring him. Moving closer to her brothers location, and thus farther from the wasp she began to eye the shallows of the water, kneeling a bit to avoid her shadow scaring off the fish. After a few moments her eyes seemed light up and her hoof darted into the water, stomping a fish in place. Grinning she grabbed the fish in her mouth by it's tail and flipped it onto the shore, far enough from the water it couldn't flop back in. After a few more attempts and one undersized fish she threw back she began to inch forward, attempting to reach the bigger fish in the deeper water.
Murky Shallows nodded at the foxbun in thanks and motioned with his hoof towards the roots he himself had dug up. "Could you brush off the dirt?" He asked, pawing some more at the hole he was digging as he pulled around a few more choose roots. "It will make it easier to wash the dirt off later." His gentle voice seemed quiet surrounded by the variety of noises everything else was making. Continuing his work he manged a few more before deciding they had enough. Glancing up at his sister he watched as she stalked the fish, his eyes smiling at the scene. He seemed to wait for her to finish, despite the fact there were other parts of the lake he could easily use to wash the roots, though that may have been because he enjoyed watching her at work.
