He was so confused right now. Yuudai was confusing him by staying and then he was confusing himself by wanting Yuudai to stay. Zuberi knew he didn't find females sexually attractive, so wanting to be in male company was the way to go, wasn't it? He'd nursed the other lion back to health, even if it wasn't tenderly.
Zuberi didn't even know in which direction he was walking in the labyrinth that the formed the pride. All this male knew was that he needed time to think, and perhaps, to meet others in the pride. All he basically knew was Yuudai and that was unnerving in itself. Yuudai was a lot more socially active than he was, it seemed.
He let out a growl of annoyance. He was walking to get away from Yuudai and yet that was the only thing he could think about. Ears pinned against his head, the blue eyed male looked up from the ground and blinked. "....Crap." Now he was lost. He could just follow his scent back home, he supposed, but there was so many there were so many other scents it was hard to pick out just his own. Well, maybe if he kept moving forward he'd circle back somehow. He didn't know. Logic was not his strong suit right now.

The pain was a dull throb through his hip as he forced his leg to bear his body weight and match his usual stride. The wound was still raw and fiery under the leaf and mud patch the medic had applied again today, but the very fact that he was up and walking, even if it was slowly, was an immense improvement over his state a few days ago.
Pushing himself was not wise, but the needed to get back into relative health so he could return to Nahasi's side. He knew other guards had been filling in for him, but the very idea of something happening when he wasn't around made the fur along his spine stand on end. So, the hour found him pacing along one of the lesser used tunnels, struggling to stretch out his back leg and not limp with the dull throbbing pain of it.
Turning a corner he stopped, grey head lifting as he spotted a dark coloured lion coming towards him with a rather angry expression on his face. Juan was not the type to pry but he had been one of the pride's Elite Guards for too long not to stop and stand his ground, waiting patiently for the other to reach him. Better he deal with what ever the issue is rather than let the male pass ad possibly have to deal with him later on with Nahasi.
