A Pokemon Black Nuzlocke Journey

As we get closer and closer to Driftveil, but there at the end of the bridge is some western looking man.
"Are ya the trainer that they wanted me ta drop the bridge for?" he asked with a heavy southern accent.
"Yeah, I'm Z, I'm here to challenge the fifth gym leader" I replied.
"I'm Clay, but because we had ta drop the bridge the Team Plasma members we had escaped. Since dropping the bridge for you inconvenienced us you might as well go gather 'em back up kid." Clay said.
"But why me?" I groaned.
"Either you gather 'em or no gym battle." he said.
"...okay..." I grumbled and headed off.
"They headed towards the Freezer section of town. Go there." he said.
I stomped of swearing at him under my breath.

I made my way to Cold Storage only to have Cheren come.
"Hey Z Clay told me we let Team Plasma go so we had to capture them again." he said.
"You too...fine then let's go." I said.
We entered only to have the cold air blast us in the face.
"Well at least that air was fresher than a Garbadour's breath." I smirked.
"Let's go get the Plasma grunts." Cheren didn't seem amused.
We trudge forth being stopped by workers along the way. Nothing but cannon fodder. Then again cannon fodder has it's uses since Ms. Piggy started to glow again.
"Looks like another evolution for you Ms.Piggy" I smile.
The shine is bright so we didn't get to see the full mutation person of the evolution ,but the result was unholy.
"Your Ms.Piggy has evolved into Emboar!" that omnipresent voice says.
"Sweet holy mother of arceus! You look so coooool!" I say hovering about the newly evolved Ms.Piggy.
"Really?" she asks.
All the other pokemon nod with the look of awe.
"Hey kid, when da f*** do I get ta evolve?" Al Capone confronts me.
"Well since you've taken the shape of this new ghost type you won't be able to until a lot later. I'm sorry Al." I said.
"Dammit kid! why'd I havta die!" he yelled at me.
"...sorry..."I said.
I just couldn't make I contact with him. Over and over my head the visions of his death have been playing back. All of their deaths. I have to move on. I can't let that get the better of me. I have to control this situation now.
"Al! you will get to evolve! You're just gonna have to deal with what's happening now. I can't train you fast enough here to make you evolve!" I say in a stricter tone then I usually make.
"Alright boss kid, but you betta make dat true." he said.
"Let's keep moving." I said.

We almost made a full circle around when we start hearing some sounds coming from an open container.
I decided to investigate.
"What's this kid doing here!" a voice demanded.
"I'm here to take you guys back into custody." another voice said.
Oh no, it was Cheren. I couldn't let him do it alone so naturally I strolled in.
"Another kid?" a plasma grunt said.
"What do you kids want?" an old guy asked.
"We're here to take you in." I said.
"We're not going in without a fight." A plasma grunt said.
"That can be arranged." Cheren said grinning.
"Let's do this, Ms.Piggy." I said.
"I'll take this half and you can have the other half" Cheren said.
"Fine by me" I grinned.
"Ms. Piggy turn up the heat on these grunts." I said.
"Hiiiiiya!" Ms.Piggy roared. Any pokemon that they sent were almost instantaneously defeated.
"You guys done?" I yawned.
"Alright you guys win we'll go." they said sullenly.
"Looks like I owe you kids a Gym Battle." I heavy southern voice said.
"Clay?" I said confused.
"We'll take 'em in from here youngin's we have more muscle to keep 'em from escapin' but since you did defeat 'em I owe you the gym battle." he said walking with us as we were escorted to the gym.

As we approached the gym there stood Ghetsis.
"We'd like our Plasma members back." he said.
"But they're bein' locked up." Clay said.
"These aren't the Plasma members you're looking for." Ghetsis says waving his hand infront of Clay.
"These aren't the Plasma members we're lookin' for." Clay said.
"In fact you are not looking for Team Plasma because Team Plasma did nothing wrong." Ghetsis said again and waved his hand.
"These guys did nothin' wrong release 'em." Clay said.
"WAIT!" I yelled.
"After all that you're just letting them go!" I yelled.
"They really didn't do anything wrong, we locked 'em up 'cause they was suspicious."Clay said.
"Well we'll be going now. Bye." Ghetsis said and Team Plasma walked off.
"What in the name of Arceus!" I said angrily,
"Don' worry you kids still get your Gym Battle." Clay said and entered his gym.
"I'll be waitin'" he said as the doors shut behind him.
Cheren had already left to go train so I should go and do the same.

I turn to my team knowing that they are full on ready to take on Clay today. The events of yesterday mean nothing now so the only thing to do is to get my badge. The doors opened as we approached. There was a sign.
"This Gym is also a mining facility. Please use the Mine Elvators and switches to work your way down to the bottom of the shaft if you're a trainer wanting an official League battle." I read it.
"Alright guys, I'm going to be using Ms. Piggy through this, if I run into any complications I want you guys to be ready" I said to them.
The nodded accepting the fact that they may never get the chance to battle because of Ms.Piggy's strength.
He head down the first elevator only to find Gym grunts which Ms.Piggy handled with ease. Continuing to the next elevator we only came across more and more. Without any trouble Ms.Piggy handled them one by one, until we finally found the elevator going straight down to Clay. For some reason getting down here didn't feel right. I know I was ready for the battle, but putting all the pressure on Ms. Piggy didn't feel right. I have to start using my other partners. I just have to.
"Well boy, looks like ya made it to the final battle of this gym." Clay said.
"Ms. Piggy" I said.
Ms. Piggy took her position infront of me.
"Well looks like you just get straight to the point" Clay said.
"Alright then, Krokorok go!" Clay called out a Krokorok.
"HIIIIIYA!" Ms. Piggy shouted smashing Krokorok to the ground with Arm Thrust.
"Wow, such power! Palpitoad go!" Clay called out Palpitoad.
A water type in a ground themed gym. Was not expecting that luckily I had a Grass type I trusted.
"SteveIrwin! Let's do this!" I called out Steve.
"Crikey! I thought Ms.Piggy was gonna handle this." he said.
"Not against a water type." I said.
"Crikey! Alright!" he said getting ready to attack.
"Seed Bomb" I called.
With an explosion of seeds coming from Steve Clay's palpitoad goes down.
"Already making me bring out my trump? Alrighty, Excadrill!" he called out Excadrill.
"Well this is Excadrill's execution. Ms. Piggy FLAME CHARGE!" I called out Ms. Piggy.
"HIIIIIYA!" with that shout Excadrill gets toasted in the Flame's of Ms.Piggy's attack.
"Well I'll be darned. Looks like you win kid. Here take this badge you earned it." Clay said handing me the Quake Badge.
I thank him for the battle and leave.

After a quick rest stop at the pokemon center I begin to make my way to the next town for my sixth gym.
"HEY Z!" I heard Bianca's voice yell as I set off.
"Yes, Bianca?" I said irritated.
"Z HOW ABOUT A POKEMON BATTLE?" Bianca yelled.
Why is this girl always so loud?
"Why do you want me to battle?" I asked.
"IF YOU WIN YOU CAN GET THIS HM CALLED FLY!" she yelled again.
"Alright then, you're on." I said sending out Ms.Piggy
"HERDIER GO!" she called out her Herdier.
"Hiyaaa!" with that shout Herdier was down. Such a predictable thing really.
"PANPOUR GO!" she called out Panpour.
"SteveIrwin" I said.
"Crikey!" Steve said as he came out and unleashed Seed Bomb.
"SERVINE HELP ME OUT HERE!" Bianca called out in desperation.
"Ms.Piggy" I said.
"Hiiiiya!" there was just no chance for Bianca in this.
"MUSHARNA! YOU'RE MY FINAL HOPE!" she cried out.
It was already too late.
"Bianca, you should give up. It's already over." I tried to reason with her.
"YOU MAY BE RIGHT Z! BUT IF I GIVE UP NOW I'LL JUST BE NOTHING!" she yelled at me.
With what she said I realized why I felt wrong about my gym battle. My partners must feel like nothing when I don't use them. They probably hate me.
I smiled.
"Thank you, Bianca." I said.
"WHAT FOR!?" she shouted.
"For making me see." I said
"Now shall we end this battle?" I asked.
She looked at me puzzled but smiled as if she knew what was happening. "ALRIGHT" she yelled cheerfully.
"Ms. Piggy let's do this! HEAT CRASH!" I called.
With that the battle was over. Bianca handed me the HM and left. She had a smile on her face when she lost. We both learned something from that battle. Thank you Bianca.

As I continued my journey after the battle there were no new pokemon that wanted to join my team. Just a bunch of aggressive pokemon. Needless to say they were a huge source of training during this journey, but then again maybe it's for the best that I didn't get a new pokemon for my team, I haven't been really allowing my partners to battle.
"Guys, I'm sorry I haven't been letting you guys battle often. I feel I lost my touch with you guys, how about some good old fashioned training." I said.

"Let's do this kid." Al said.
"Crikey mate it's about time you noticed." Steve said.
"I would've had to kill you if you kept me in that pokeball any longer" Faikous said.
"NOW LET'S BATTLE TO THE HEAVENS!" Kamina declared.
"I could've gone a few more years just watching others fight." Axel said.
"Sorry guys, I'll try to let you battle more often" I said.
"Wuit da apologies kid and get to da grindin'" Al said.
Why not? The music had started it was time to train.

We kept on training while traveling until we wound up in a cave.
"Wow, looks like we zoned out while training." I laughed.
"Crikey mate you gotta watch where you're going!" Steve said.
"Oh well might as well take a look around." I said.
The team followed, but after a few steps we were surround, but not by pokemon, by people.
"We are the Shadow Triad of Team Plasma, Lord N wishes to speak with you, Follow now." they said and led me to N.
I didn't have a choice so I begrudginly followed.
As we approached N the Shadow Triad left.
"Ah Z, you know you were chosen by the legends, right? Just wanted to tell you that. Alright bye." N said and left.
"Okaaaaaaaaay...." I looked puzzle but shrugged it off.
Continuing through the cave I started hearing a sound following me.
"Gero, Gero, Gero" the sound made.
I looked around all around and saw nothing.
"Gero, Gero, Gero" the sond continued.
I looked up and saw a Kink above me.
"Hey there buddy!" I calledto it.
"Gero Gero Gero" it said.
"How would you like to join my team?" I shouted to it.
It charged at me and on instinct I threw I held a pokeball up in defense catching it instantly.
"Well Gero, you're goin' to the PC" I said as the ball teleported.
I continue on to have a rock block my path.
"HEY Z! I FOUND PROFFESSOR JUNIPER SHE WANTS TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!" I hear Bianca's voice then notice her and Professor Juniper walking towards me.
"Z you cane move thoes floating rocks by the magnetic charge in the bigger rocks and take this Lucky Egg item." Professor Juniper said and then let me go along my way.
"LATER Z" Bianca said as I left to trudge forth.

"Well guys looks like it's time to train again, right?" I said.
They nodded.
"You guys have been training hard. It's nice that you guys are trying so hard." I smiled.
"Ah shaddup kid ya to soft sometimes." Al said trying to act cool.
"You're getting soft yourself Al." I laughed.
"SHADDUP!" he said.
We laughed as we began to train some more, but training got interrupted by the Shadow Triad.
"Z, the young lord would like to test you." One of the 3 said.
"And what if I object?" I asked.
"There will be no way to escape this cave." Another one said.
"Oh...then what do I have to do?" I questioned.
"Defeat the Plasma members that are within the cave then have a battle with Lord N at the end." the final one said and then they left.
"They don't stick around much do they?" I laughed.
"So guys, did ya here that. We gotta go beat some grunts." I announced.
"Aight finally some action, git ready boys!" Al said.
"FIGHT FOR VICTORY!" Kamina shouted.
"Looks like my breaks over." Axel said.
"If I didn't get some action soon I'd have to kill you" Faikous said.
"Crikey mate looks like we're pumped." Steve said.
"I'll beat 'em with a HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYA!" Ms.Piggy said.
However ready they were I decided we should rest up before we begin this "trial".

"Alright guys now let's begin the challenge!" I said to my team.
We approached a Team Plasma memember.
"From here on you will partake in Lord N's challenged, Z will you be ready?" the grunt asked.
"Aye, I am." I replied.
"Then let's begin." he said.
One after another I struck down their pokemon. It wasn't even a challenge. It seemed like a sad excuse to weaken my pokemon. That's what I thought til I saw N watching my battles. It was only a glance but he left. What on earth could that guy be thinking. As we took down the final grunt Al Capone started to glow.
"HOT DAMN KID LOOK!" he yelled excited.
"Yes, you're finally evolving." I said.
The other pokemon looked in amazement at his evolution. It seemed like like the masked grew into a coffin and his ethereal body became arms.
"Your Al Capone has evolved into Cofragrigus." the omnipresent voice announced.
"AIGHT KID NOW DAT I'M EVOLVED AND WE BEAT DA LAST SCRUB LET'S KICK N'S SISSY a**!" Al Capone yelled in excitement.
"Alright Al, guys, you ready?" I asked.
"Ready? WE WERE BORN READY!" Kamina shouted.
I grinned and we headed up the stairs to face N.

"Oh you made it" N said.
"Yeah are you ready?" I said.
"I was already prepared for you other chosen one!" he said.
"Let's go SteveIrwin!" I call out Steve.
"Crikey time for the battle already?" he said.
"Boldore" N snapped his fingers.
"Steve use seed bomb!" I called out the order.
"Crikey mate alright!" Steve said as a threw his seed bomb.
"So it's true." N said.
"What are you talking about?" I said puzzled.
"I told you I can hear the pokemon's voices." he said.
"Yeah, and...?" I asked.
"You'll find out what I mean later. Joltik!" he said as he snapped his fingers again.
"Al let's go!" I sent Al into battle.
"Time ta squash dis bug." Al grinned.
"Ominous Wind." I said.
Al's body open's letting out a gust of dark air making Joltik faint.
"Dats all she wrote." Al smirked.
"Ferroseed." N snapped.
"Ms.Piggy" I called.
"N you already know the outcome of this battle, why persist?" I questioned as Ms.Piggy let out a "HIIIIIIIIYAA!" knocking out Ferroseed with Flame Charge.
"I need to know whose ideals are truly stronger, and I will find out through the voices of the Pokemon!" N said.
"Klink!" he snapped.
"Ms. Piggy finish this." I said.
"Hiiiya!" a Flame Charge knocked Klink into the wall causing a cloud of dust. As the dust lifted N and his Pokemon were nowhere to be seen. What did he mean by "whose ideals are stronger"? Well guess I'll find out soon enough. We walked out of the cave and into Mistralton City.

As soon as we exited we were confronted by a man and a woman.
"Hey there lad! I see you got a pokedex there! Mind if I tinker with it?" he said cheerfully.
"Sure just don't break it." I said.
He cracked open the back panel and added a chip.
"Here you go I gave it an upgrade, now your pokedex will register different pokemon forms." he said.
"Oh...sweet." I said.
"By the way I'm Cedric Juniper, Professor Juniper's father, and that lady over there is this town's best pilot and gym leader Skyla the flying specialist." he said.
"Hey Professor, quit yappin' we gotta make a delivery!" she called to him.
"Alright, well you might want to use the time we're out to make a deliver, by the way you see that tower over there." he points to a large stone structure.
"Flying over here I thought I saw an injured pokemon why don't you head over there and check on it. Also if you lost any pokemon during your trip here might as well ring the bell to pay respects to your fallen allies. That's what most people do. Anyway cathya 'roun Z" he said and he went off with Skyla.
Yeah, paying respects to my fallen partners would be nice about now. Thanks Cedric, I may just go there.

Heading to the building I get trampled by a Deerling.
"Yo dude, you gotta watch where your traveling." it said.
"OH REALLY!?" I yelled.
"Chill man, tell ya what, how 'bout I join your team and we can be bros." it said.
"Well then what's your name before I add you?" I asked.
"Name's Bravo. The best Deerling around." Bravo replied.
"Welcome to the family" I said as I tossed a pokeball towards him.
He hopped in and the ball was transported to the PC. So many new members and no one has been lost. I'm almost afraid to continue.
Continuing along my way I met several trainers to battle, one was very interesting. It was a triple battle. My first one since I began, but Ms. Piggy, Al Capone, and SteveIrwin took care of everything. After battling all those trainers I decided to go back to the Pokemon Center to rest. It was the right decision to make. It's been an extremely long day.

As of today I lost all my save data for my Nuzlocke challenge...I'd like to say good bye to the friends I had on the journey.

Ms. Piggy my first pokemon. Yeah I messed up your namein the beginning because I didn't noticed your gender but I was true to my word and I changed it.


Al Capone the star of the show, I may have failed you as a Patrat, but I got you that evolution you wanted when you were brought back as a Yanmask.


SteveIrwin, crikey I never thought I'd say goodbye to you, your classic catch phrase was fun to hear.


Clay Aiken, dude I wish you would've just come out of the closet before I had to say goodbye to you.


Stitch, I hope Lilo took care of you. You looked so happy.


Lillil, I really missed having you on the team I hope you enjoyed your vacation with Lilo and Stitch.


Axel, yeah I got you memorized, you didn't even get a chance to let your potential burn.


Kamina, I did not believe in myself but believed in the you that believed in me, and that me that believed in the you that believed in me has failed.


Amelia, I don't know where you are now, but I thought you would fly to great heights, I miss you.


Helga, you taught me a good lesson about grief in the pokemon world. My partners don't want to see me being weak infront of them. Thank you.


Janet, you never gotta shine bright, but I knew you were charged up and ready to fight.


Bravo, our time together was short but you were the best Deerling of all time.


Lindbergh, we could've flown great heights but we crashed too soon.


Muggy, you were spunky but cute.


Faikous, your training as the backstone of the team was about to begin but those days are smashed now.

Goodbye my friends and partners. I had fun spending time with you in your world. We suffered many victories and hardships. I will miss all of you. Goodbye ):
