So apparently the dog we were watching along with the kids found a baby rabbit. & we don't know what to do. WE didn't touch it and put it in our overgrown sandbox with some carrots.



But its so tiny cute!

aw, i once had a baby rabbit in my yard. he ended up hopping away somewhere though.
i hope it finds its mother or his mother finds him/her.

Well, if its been more than 24 hrs, and still no mommy bunny, Id say it might be a good idea to care for it for a while, or even make it a pet. Rabbits eat grass, straw, alfalfa, lettuce, or really any mild grain or veggie, if its old enough to eat suck things, that is. If not, you can buy substitute formula at most pet stores. (cow milk isnt good for any kind of baby) It might be scared of people at first, but try to let it come to you. Dont make it feel threatened by hovering over it, instead, lay your hands close to the ground (as opposed to over its head) and try to scoop it up that way. But whatever you decide to do, I hope the little things okay :] good luck!

Ah yes, rabbits in the wilderness are nice, but the ones in the city are dumb as hell.
