Out and about. (a different sort of picture thread)

My dad requested pictures of a sculpture here in town, and it gave me an idea for this thread. Why not post pictures we take of points of interest, landmarks, events, ect. that we see while we are out in our home towns or even traveling? For camera-shy guildies, you don't need to be in it smile

No. I was on the phone freaking over a spider I found while cleaning. emo

Plus I didn't want to ruin my ipod.

I can't really think of any landmarks or events around my area. We'll see if I get outside with the camera sometime. But if I go out I'll likely be taking the floops with me so I don't know if she'll be good long enough to get my eyes off of her for a moment to take a picture. We'll see.

I almost forgot to go to the pharmacy today, that would have been BAD. They have this in the indoor lobby of their building though heart

Babysitting was postponed a little bit, he was visiting with friends. Potential roommate and I went for walk in a nearby park. There is a nice little outdoor aquarium with some pretty good sized local river fish in it. Only a couple pics turned out, but here you go. I want to go back for more pics of that park later. Might even pose for a few intentional ones. Yes, I am wearing a shirt with a bunny on it in that reflection razz

Darnit! I hiked all the way up Mount Trashmore (not it's real name, but it used to be a landfill) today to get an epic picture from the summit. It's hot, I'm sweaty, Isolde is overstimulated because there is a stiff wind that high off the ground and barking at an old Asian man sitting on a bench....and what do I discover? I forgot my camera at home! I thought I grabbed it but it turns out it was my cellphone I had when I patted my pocket to double check. So no picture for yous tooodddaaayyy

Amazing view from the top! Although I'm kinda curious why they haven't torn it down or repaired it? Did it feel as rickety as it looked?

Well, I had to go on a three mile hike to get a part for my clunker >.<
Might as well take the scenic route!





These were taken along "Third St". There actually used to be a street here, but it kept flooding. The city redesigned it into what you see here. Side note: Saew loves to hang out near water or under bridges. Perhaps this helps feed his reputation for being a troll?
