Personalities: Caitlyn - As a child who spent most of her time by herself or with the animals on her farm, Caitlyn is a bit of a recluse. Large groups of people make her nervous, but years of practice have taught her how to shrink into a crowd and fade into the shadows. That isn’t to say Caitlyn isn’t friendly. Caitlyn is fiercely loyal and protective of those she considers friends. Should any of her friends find themselves in trouble, they know they can rely on Caitlyn to cover their backs.
Although Caitlyn’s passion in life is reading and she has a very active imagination, she can be somewhat naive when it comes to real life. She’s gullible and easily swayed by peer pressure. In her efforts to fit in and make friends, Caitlyn can be forced into doing things she might otherwise have balked at. She tends to dwell on these incidents after she’s had time to cool down and she finds it difficult to let things go.
Caitlyn has struggled with a few health issues throughout her life. The most notable of these are her anxiety and asthma. While she usually has them fairly under control, they can be absolutely crippling if they rear their ugly heads.
Now that she knows there’s more out there for her, a chance to make a name for herself and to shake off the stigma of her former life, Caitlyn is eager to prove herself. She wants to show the world that she
wasn’t wrong all of those years and the best way to accomplish that is to become the best Hunter she can be.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? Theres Another Me - As a child, Caitlyn was haunted by her strange ability to see into the shadows. Her behaviour unsettled her parents and, after an unfortunate incident that resulted in the brutal death of Caitlyn’s pet goat, her parents had her institutionalized. Caitlyn was facing a life of doctors, padded walls, and heavy sedation and so opted to accept the offer to become a Hunter.
