Name: Pepin Molyneau

Faction/Race (Ghost) Glitch/Lost Data. Previously Human, doesn't have recollection of past life.
Personality: Pepin can be a one-track mind sometimes. In her past life she spent hours and hours on social networks and anonymous chat forums. She had built up a very infamous reputation until her death at the computer screen. It had been hours and hours before her body was found but by then she had invested her soul entirely to the digital world. Though not aware of her previous life as a rabid computer dweller, Pepin still has tendencies to spend long periods of time gossiping and arguing with people through the virtual realm. However, because of her condition as a ghost projected through data, Pepin has trouble developing real friendships and relationships that aren't entirely superficial - in the case of her making a real friend she can grow a sometimes unwanted infatuation with them.
Pepin has a... killer gossip problem. Even through her tighter relationships, Pep will advertise herself as the best secret keeper at Amityville. This of course is a fat lie. Whether out of malice or not this ghoul can't keep her mouth shut about other students. Knowing the unnecessary details about others' lives seems to make her feel strong in a sense. It can also get her into serious amounts of trouble. As nosy as Pepin is she sometimes spills the beans on accident out of sheer habit. Having once lived behind the mask of anonymity she does not weigh the consequences of sharing dark secrets with others. Ironically, Pepin has very little secrets about herself (yet!) to share and hypocritically keeps them to herself.
Although superficial to some degree, Pepin does not lack self confidence over her shape. In fact she wishes she could be less fragmented and more solid to show off her figure. Where she has physical self esteem she lacks in overall confidence when pressured. Tests, exams, and on the rare occasion just making it through the day can get her worked up and mopey. When she catches a serious case of the woe-is-me's, Pepin will brood around hallways flickering with such an intensity that it's almost impossible to make out her face. While she will not hesitate to one-up someone else she still absorbs some emotion and stress from others and manifests it through datamoshing.
-Can be a total kiss a** or back stabber depending on the situation. Does not think in terms of hierarchy though so it CAN be unexpected and not in her best interest.

DISLIKES: Freezing up, Communication errors, having her picture taken (they never turn out!!), Writing by hand, Morninnnngs,
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Pepin found herself at the Academy by chance like many a wandering ghost can. After a while of helping various ghouls and boils hack up their friends' websites she decided to find a much more 'rewarding' outlet for her talents. There is a huge glamor and appeal to her in attending an organized school where there is plenty of 'networking' to be tinkered and played with. Pepin does not see herself as someone who can tackle the system but desperately wishes to be a part of it.
Natural Ability: Whenever Pepin hovers around electronic devices one may experience a couple of flickers and shudders on their screens. Generally she cannot cause any serious damage to said devices by being near them but with her FEAR ability she can cause data loss and damage that may or may not be repairable. (In other words she cannot completely destroy any data without being in FEAR mode)
-Pepin is a bit of a hover-er but she cannot fly or anything like that. Just walk without moving her legs.
FEAR: Glitch Out- Just as it may sound, Pepin's Glitch Out will cause data obstruction in electronic devices especially in things that have internet connection. When in battle this ability works more as an illusion and can cause her target to start seeing things as if they were glitched. In some cases it can also drain any colors from vision until the brief glitch-out is over. (For year 1, her FEAR only affects the opponent's sight but when she improves it should be able to directly effect the organic world around her)
Physical Description: Average height and size, somewhat thicker build, stocky legs with small feet that usually dangle about half an inch to an inch above the ground. Fingers and toes are not distinct- they fade into claw like shapes. Hair is a wispy gray and in sort of a layered she-mullet.
Eye Colour: Black-ringed but filled with white snow/noise (her mouth does this too when opened!)
Hair Colour/Style: White/Silver
Skin Colour: White. I decided to keep her overall design black and white as not too be too busy!
Clothing Style/Colours: Patchy, arbitrarily placed black. Her "outfit" should look very ambiguous but pretty much pitch black with an array of noise markings. She can have any sort of little Halloween accessory in her hair as long as its black/white, usually spiderwebby stuff.
Extra: As a ghost she isn't necessarily transparent but appears as a faded, jerky, glitchy image (see references of glitch art). Her form is constantly flickering and can sometimes freeze up. This kind of glitching is supposed to be Datamoshing where images are overlapped but for the sanity of any artist who draws her, she can be "glitched" with just the same image!

Decided to give one of those questionnaire things a try for my own practice, but this will not be a part of her quest form, its really just mostly for me ;o (btw got the questionarre here: http://oc-meme-central.livejournal.com/4042.html )
1. What is your full name?
Miss Pepin... Pepin hrmm... Can't say I remember it all.
2. Where and when were you born?
It's hard to ask a ghost this, you know. I showed up in Halloween Town not too long ago couple of years or so. Any time I try to think past that I freeze up. No really.
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
Probably pretty normal or something. I'd imagine they are somewhere in the human realm or something. Most ghosts tend to come from there.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
If I do they aren't here.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
Amityville! Well... just Halloween Town. I'm hoping to get enrolled so I don't have to live around town by myself. It's always good to meet new peeps and stuff!
6. What is your occupation?
I kinda do freelance work. You know, hacking and searching for stuff people have dimwittedly lost on their hard drives. Can never guarantee that they return fully functional.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Oh gosh that would just take too long... but then again I do love myself on a less... glitchy day. I'm not a very tall ghoul at all but that's no big deal. Full and curvy that's the way to be.. but I am NOT telling you my weight, thanks. Everything to me is black and white and gray and stuff so there's not much color in my world. Okay that's a lie, I see color but I haven't any on me or anything, literally. And I just wear what I want cause it doesn't matter in the end nobody gets to really see it all anyways stupid flickers.
8. To which social class do you belong?
Ghosts. I don't know how the chain works in school but I don't really care.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Feh... not a ghost. Unless you count my freezing. That REALLY bites. It's like... like literally getting frozen you know?
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Doesn't matter when you type all the time... actually I can't write very good with either so it all kind of looks the same.
11. What does your voice sound like?
I don't know what I sound like. As long as it isn't scratchy sounding like I look.. (when she speaks it fluctuates so she does in fact quiver in and out of different tones sometimes)
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
You know... like... really literally that's what I say.

I don't have any pockets but if I did I'd have to be careful with what I keep.
