___ - Slight fixes to the Mixed Blood discipline. The discipline was missing stipulations that one may not utilize it with a bloodline that is an elemental combination clan, and that to utilize a doujutsu it must come from one's primary bloodline. Apologies for the delay in this fix.

Changelog

  • Changed:
    • Classes: Revamped all disciplines, slightly rebalanced Jutsu slots with the addition of Augment slots.
    • Demons: Changed how demonic power is accessed/handled, slightly revamped the Jutsu.
    • Missions: Changed how TP is handled and its associated missions.
    • Traps: Reworked how they're created and activated to (hopefully) make them easier to use.
    • Smithing & Jobs: Changed how Job slots are allocated and consumed, and how prerequisites work for advanced smithings. Expanded smithing's utility and rolled custom item creation into it. Rebalanced variable marbles to be more useful.
    • Armor: Many changes, including some changes to make Tailoring more useful and a better explanation of how shields work.
    • Kugutsu: Better defined how puppets are created and made it slightly less job title-intensive. Gave some variety to how Chakra Threads can be used.
    • Summons: Changed how summons get Jutsu (you don't have to train them manually, don't worry). Diversified the elements for sage summons.
    • Descriptive Ranks: Dropped the passive cap to 12 overall instead of 12 each.
    • Taijutsu & Bukijutsu: General rewrites for some, reformatting for all. All got stances that temporarily increase the limit for passive Descriptive Ranks of a specified type.
    • Learning techniques: Slight adjustments to make post requirements scale linearly.
    • Character limits: Removed the numeric limit. Still can't do things with yourself.
    • Personal Attributes: You can now freely retrain your personal attributes to change them without needing to resubmit your character entirely. In-character, this should be related to some significant change in a character's life, mental, or physical state.
    • Approvals: Drastically scaled back the need for approvals. If you stick within certain guidelines, you can just create something and go rather than waiting on an approval mod. PA guide was revamped.
    • Tamers: In addition to the changes to the class, pet dynamics have been changed. Activation sharing and Chakra/Stamina sharing are now baked in.
    • Formless: Changed how the Mental styles work.
    • Ninjutsu: Got rid of the guild/official description split. Reworked certain Jutsu to better play with each other and the new Augment system. Lists are alphabetized, with Augment techniques listed after the main body of techniques in a rank.
    • Bloodlines: Reformatting galore (ugh)! Advanced elemental bloodlines now mesh with the new Formless Ninjutsu system. Some trainings were removed from certain bloodlines as a result (namely the "XX Soujuu [ XX Manipulation ]" ones, but not just them).
    • Sage Mode: Gave it the first major upgrade in forever. It now actually includes Stamina.
    • Fuuin: "It was a hot mess." ~ AandOE, 2019.
    • Implants: Minor changes and rewording.
    • Monsters & Creatures: More revealed info for everything. Noted incentives for creating things.

  • New:
    • Affinities: Added an elemental affinity subsystem to smithing.
    • Summons: Behemoths! Also, custom summons!
    • Quality: Smithing now has item quality! Higher-level smiths will be able to create things faster and/or better and/or with more effects than their peers.
    • Blueprints: You can now make a blueprint when you create an item, letting you make it faster in the future.
    • Civilians: Non-Shinobi characters. Less harshly regulated, but you can't do Shinobi things. You can also "retire" a character to civilian life.
    • Augment Slots: Special slots that everyone gets. Can be used for a number of things, including Formless Ninjutsu and changing how your Jutsu work in collisions.
    • Mission City: A new area for your characters to squad up and do missions in, if you want more stuff to do for special rewards. The missions here are mostly self-running. Added rogue-only "Interrupt Missions". Debut incoming.
    • Treasures: A new addition to mining that lets you uncover extra-special goodies.
    • Business License: Basically replaced the old system.
    • Property: What it sounds like. Ties into the Business License system.
    • Academy Rank: You want to be a wee bab, trying to learn the ways of the world? Now you can!
    • Juin: Completely rewrote everything. Would include a quote from AandOE on this, but it contains some expletives.
    • Special Titles: Added in secretary, squad/captain, and Kage regulations.
    • Research: You can now research stuff. Neat.
    • Tenseigan: Added.


    Jutsu Changes
    Notable Changes:
    • Removing techniques that are too similar to another unless there's a reason to keep both.
    • Removing the "official description"/"guild description" split. I've got versions of these lists both with and without this adjustment up until B-Rank Doton.
    • Augments are now listed with ranks in the format of: "Rank :: Augment". They have also been moved to the bottom of their respective lists and have a section labeled "Base Technique" that lists what technique they play off of. This latter change is to reduce redundancy in wording, as we can simply list an explanation for the augments elsewhere.

      • Kyouka Jutsu [ Hardening Technique ]: Changed the speed decrease to "supremely" instead of "2 ranks". Changed the increase in strength and fortitude to a defensive buff and a supreme increase in strength for formless.
      • Iwane Wooru [ Rock Wall ]: Changed to a proper X-Rank technique that starts scaling at C-Rank. Augment status made clear.
      • Choukeijuugan no Jutsu [ Ultra Light Weight Rock Technique ]: Minor clarifications on costs and rank limits. Added in effects for use on people.
      • Choukajuugan no Jutsu [ Ultra Added Weight Rock Technique ]: Switched to being based off of Kajuugan instead of Keijuugan. Added in effects for use on people.
      • Iwa no Doomu [ Earth Dome ]: Takes a post to crumble after it's been destroyed.
      • Iwa Guntai Tate [ Rock Army Shield ]: Changed how plate creation works and adjusted durability. It now creates 2 B-Rank plates, with the user able to create more by paying more. Size adjusted downward drastically.
      • Kyouzamashi [ Complete Body Vanish Kill Joy ]: Renamed to Dosou [ Burial ] and given effects more in line with the Doton Aesthetic (TM).
      • Bakuha no Jutsu [ Dragon Explosion Technique ]: Renamed "Ryuu Bakuha no Jutsu [ Dragon Explosion Technique ]" to have the "Dragon" part of the name represented somewhere in the Japanese (This could change later if I feel like actually sussing out a good translation). Better defined movement and offensive capabilities.
      • Chikyū-jō no jigoku [ Hell on Earth ]: The transition to Yomi Numa isn't automatic, but something that can be done at any time without consuming an extra activation if the user knows that technique. That effect is lost if the user doesn't know it. To compensate for this, the damage of the spears is defined at A-Rank rather than S.
      • Kajuugan [ Weighted Rock Technique ]: Gave it an alternate usage mode that doesn't petrify things.
      • Kaido Shoukutsu [ Open Earth Rising Excavation ]: Cost is split among all the users.
      • Sekkai Daichi Souzou [ Stone Castle Creation ]: Adjusted trap creation and activation guidelines. It should be a trapper's dream home now.
      • Sekkai Suke [ Stone Shell ]: Adjustments made to make it work like Iwa Guntai Tate [ Rock Army Shield ], since that's its parent technique. Greatly shrank the size of created domes, but allowed them to be added together.
      • Shukaku no Tate [ Shield of Shukaku ]: Made the repair cost match the cost of damage done.
      • Tsuchi Kairou [ Earth Corridor ]: Adjusted the bonus from Yomi's EMEC to not use descriptives.
      • Tsunami no Jutsu [ Tsunami Technique ]: Gave it a defined range, then clarified that stuff can still continue to flow past that range, but without the force created by the initial blast.
      • Uitenpen [ Impermanence ]: Made changes to more properly reflect its partial-Kuchiyose status. Traps and Genjutsu are still capped at C-Rank. Changes can be negated by Kuchiyose- or Doton-cancellation, but after 10 posts or if the original medium is destroyed, they become permanent.
      • Yama Souken [ Mountain Creation ]: Changed the timings a bit (removed delay mostly) and changed the height/depth from 1000' to 1 km.
      • Iwa Finaru [ Rock Finale ]: Clarified explosion damage in terms of a flat amount per post, less anything dodged or defended.

      • Kami Oroshi [ Godly Wind from the Mountains ]: EMEC bonus changed.

      • Fuuton Rasengan: Added the "Fuuton" back in for clarity. Unlike what you might expect, this does not become an augment. Too much effort goes into it, and plus, there's like 500 different types of Rasengan anyway. Not all of them get to be augments or everyone and their mother would learn it for the free encyclopedia of chucking chakra balls at things.
      • Rasengan techniques: Made some of them into augments. There are too many of these for anyone's good.
      • Kyojin Taka Bakuha [ Giant Falcon Blast ]: "Kyojin" changed to "Kyodai". "Kyojin" is a noun while "Kyodai" is an adjective.
      • Hirogari Tei Ihen [ Spreading Air Disaster ]: Defined its size.
      • Sansai no Jutsu [ That "calamities" one ]: Generalized to more than just the three "disasters".
      • Kanketsusen Souzou [ Geyser Creation ]: Made it an air vent that'll also happen to shoot steam if you're in an area suited for it. This is Fuuton, no Suiton or Doton.

      • Hi Shinten no Jutsu [ Flame Spread Technique ]: Turned into an augment of Shuriken no Jutsu. Lasts only 1 post but affects up to medium weapons.
      • Yojin Bunshin no Jutsu [ Ember Clone Technique ]: The explosion no longer deals C-Rank damage.
      • Hoteri Ougigata no Jutsu [ Flash Fan Technique ]: It used to basically say "this does no damage". Now it says that AND it prevents people from rehydrating for one post. Neat!
      • Housenka no Jutsu [ Mythical Fire Flower Technique ]: Flames and projectiles are now treated separately when dealing with defenses.
      • Kaen Senpuu [ Flame Whirlwind ]: Now X-Rank!
      • Ryuuka no Jutsu [ Dragon Fire Technique ]: Changed upkeep scheme slightly and stipulated that the user has to remain still for that bonus.
      • Shouidan no Jutsu [ Incendiary Technique ]: Now an augment of Ryuuka, as the description suggests. Decreased number of blobs to 4 to make it easier to calculate the actual damage caused by each.
      • Hidoko no Jutsu [ Bed of Fire Technique ]: Now weak to smothering Doton techniques to make up for a lack of weakness to water.
      • Taika no Jutsu [ Fireproof Technique ]: Blocks both damage and dehydration as an X-Rank technique.
      • Kyuuka no Jutsu [ Flame Sphere Technique ]: Makes the user more susceptible to frostbite after use.
      • Nenshou Tosshin [ Burning Rush ]: Now an augment of Kyuuka, as the description suggested. Also made it give bonuses to only fortitude as opposed to a bunch of stuff.
      • Benjigumo [ Crimson Earth Spider ]: Acts like a really big Bunshin now.
      • Housenka Tsumabeni no Jutsu [ Mythical Fire Phoenix Nails Red Technique ]: Now an augment of Housenka instead of Shuriken.
      • Karyuudan [ Fire Dragon Projectile ]: No longer requires Doryuudan. Generalized to be applicable to all projectile Ninjutsu, with which it automatically gets the effects of Korabo.
      • Kumoryuu Kaengiri [ Cloud Style Flame Slash ]: Generalized to non-swords. Oh, and it's also an augment of Hi Shinten, which is itself an augment of Shuriken. Hooray for learning trees?
      • Endan [ Fireball ]: Oh hey, the wiki says it's based on oil. Guess it isn't so generic after all, eh? If you're reading this, message me and all your characters get 500 Ryou. Added in oil effects (i.e. weak to Doton, not Suiton).
      • Karyuu Endan [ Fire Dragon Flame Projectile ]: Gave it two modes based on the wiki: a mobile dragon mode and a high power mode. The former is slightly weaker but more maneuverable.
      • Yakeshinu Omoi [ Burnt Memories ]: Renamed Kurokoge Omoi [ Burnt Black Memories ]. "Yakeshinu" means "To be burned to death" and didn't really fit a) grammatically and b) thematically, since the person's already dead.
      • Ketatamashii Makai [ Piercing Hell Strike ]: Name changed to Makai Dageki [ Hell Strike ]. Removed upkeep and defined the dehydration.
      • Gouka Hataka no Jutsu [ Hellfire Clap ]: Reduced the diameter. Also made it X-Rank.
      • Kasairyuu [ Blaze Eruption ]: Halved the radius.
      • Kenrou Kaken [ Heavenly Prison Fire Sword ]: Renamed to Kenrou Katou.
      • Moushou Kaseiken [ Fierce Flame Fist ]: Now an augment of Kaseiken. Now it'll eat you if you don't let it out onto something.
      • Onidourou: Removed the "Katon" in the name. Defined the speed of the homing part and gave it a maximum duration. Also adjusted the projectiles down to 8 and made it so it can't be used again while there are still some remaining, lest we end up with an endless homing projectile spam.
      • Shinhidora no Jutsu [ True Hydra Technique ]: More Bunshin-like now, like Benjigumo.
      • Tenrou [ Heavenly Prison ]: Split into an S-Rank and an S+Rank, rather than having that be the case in the description only. See those Jutsu for further details. Also removed the "Katon" in the name.

  • Dendou Kaitengi no Jutsu [ Electric Gyroscope Technique ]: Added a duration and upkeep cost.
  • Raikou no Yobigoe no Jutsu [ Call of Lightning Technique ]: Drastically shortened the duration and gave it an activation delay of one post. Lightning bolts deal C-Rank damage, are A-Rank to evade, and ignore fortitude bonuses. The user also does not get passive resistances from Electrical Resistance Training. Also now requires clouds be present, since this isn't Ranton.
  • Dendou Enmu no Jutsu [ Electric Fog Technique ]: Basically scrapped the entire thing. Now has a really weak, short-range use outside of fog now, since I've made it so this technique doesn't create fog. Again, not Ranton. Used inside fog, the technique's full strength gets conducted out to everyone in the fog. Yes, everyone. Even those nasty mosquitos. Even you. ("KAGES HATE HIM!   • Hyakkryouran [ Many Flowers in Bloom ]: Removed the need for flowers and the Gokan Sakusou powder, since there's no listed way to make it in the guild. Instead, hallucination effects of any hazards used alongside it will automatically enact, extending the technique's duration by 3 posts.
  • Kuro Tatsumaki [ Black Tornado ]: Physical techniques used by stacked people are slightly faster per this technique's rank, but don't get any other speed bonuses (or detriments).   • Fuubaku Houjin [ Exploding Seal Method Formation ]: English name changed to "Sealed Binding Formation" to match the wiki. Also given an approximation of its actual effect, since this one was basically a copy of Kekkai Houjin.
  • Fuuja Houin [ Evil Sealing Method ]: Now always relies on the target's willpower, instead of only when used by someone at least S-Rank.
  • Gogyou Kaiin [ Five Elements Unseal ]: Can now be applied pre-emptively to prevent an instance of an element being blocked. Also an augment of Gogyou Fuuin.
  • Kekkai Houin [ Barrier Sealing ]: Now retrainable and usable up to its maximum retrained rank. You can also make it any degree of opaque, but you can't make it not your Chakra color. Tough beans. Maybe that's a totally worthy use of a PA? I don't know. How much are you committed to aesthetics?
  • San no Fuuin Houin [ The Third Seals Sealing ]: Now an augment of The Second Seals Sealing.
  • Infuuin: Kai [ Secret Mark Seal: Release ]: English named changed to Yin Seal: Release. In lieu of its restricted status, it now consumes 10 slots or 1 style slot, much the same as some of Pain's Jutsu.
  • Iruka's Barrier Technique: Renamed to Isshi Toujin [ String Light Formation ]. No longer arrests the movements of objects and people that are not the user or the target. The base duration is now only 1 post. Multiple people can now also use it together to increase its rank. Its rank has been reduced to D and it's now retrainable.
  • Jikuukan Kekkei [ Time-Space Barrier ]: Renamed Hiraishin: Dourai [ Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder ] and made into an augment of Hiraishin.
  • Mugen Houyou [ Infinite Embrace ]: Now has a cooldown of 5 posts after it ends and if you're reading this message me and all your characters get 500 Ryou can be broken by techniques of at least S-Rank.
  • Summons Houin [ Summons Sealing ]: Renamed Kuchiyose Houin [ Summons Sealing ] so that it's not as weird. CAN be prepared in battle now, if you can get 3 posts of uninterrupted prep time.
  • Tensha Fuuin: Transcription Seal [ Goddess of the Sun: Heavenly Illumination ]: Renamed to simply Tensha Fuuin [ Transcription Seal ]. Explained some of its applications better.
  • Kuchiyose: Gojuu Rashoumon [ Summoning: Quintuple Rashoumon ]: Now an augment of Sanjuu Rashoumon. Learning requirement switched from Fuunyuu to Kuchiyose.
  • Fuujutsu Kyuuin [ Sealing Technique Absorption Seal ]: Given restrictions much the same as the other Pain jutsu.
  • Keiyaku Fuuin [ Contract Seal ]: Bumped up the costs a rank to be more consistent. S+ is required to cancel all, B to cancel one. The S+ also prevents all summoning if used, while the B can be used to cancel non-contractual summoning.
  • Tajuu Mugen Houyou [ Multiple Infinite Embraces ]: Adjusted the drain values and made it require multiple users. Also, yeah, it's an augment now.
  • Hiraishin no Jutsu [ Flying Thunder God Technique ]: Nixed the cooldown and removed the Fuuin Specialist restriction and added the ability to transfer objects bearing a shiki to each other. What's the catch? Well, it takes 10 slots or 1 style slot to learn, much like Pain's jutsu.
  • Bijuu Seals: The guide's been expanded on greatly, including some highly experimental delineation of abilities gained from sealed non-Bijuu entities. You don't need to actually learn a Bijuu seal to use it during a Bijuu sealing event anymore, which was a feature that was greatly requested since so few people actually bother. Skip this section entirely if you don't want to mess with complicated rules potentially subject to change later on.
  • Bijuu (Tailed Beast) Attachment [ Chiyo Version - Unnamed ]: Renamed to Kanae Fuuin [ Three-Legged Kettle Seal ] so that it actually has one. It was chosen based on Chiyo using a kettle in Shukaku's sealing. The flavor text was reworked from the very bare-bones information we have to match this new name. No longer grants +50 Chakra.
  • Bijuu (Tailed Beast) Attachment [ Raikage Version - Unnamed ]: Renamed to Tekkou Fuuin [ Iron Armor Seal ] to match the wiki. Works very similar to Kanae Fuuin/Chiyo's Seal for transferring things from the container to other entities or unsealing them, but doesn't have the safety of it in exchange for the ability to be more selective with what gets sealed or unsealed. Basically, it sucks everything in, and you can pick what goes where afterward. Catch your ally in the crossfire? No problem!
  • Hakke no Fuuin Shiki [ Eight Divination Signs Seal Style ]: Elaborated a bit on how it works and made it lower the strength of a paired seal by one step.
  • Shishou Fuuin [ Four Image Seal ]: Made it ignore the weakening effect of Hakke no Fuuin Shiki if used alongside another sealing method. Requires a Fuuin no Kagi be used in that case.
  • Bijuu Attachment [ Kirigakure Version ]: Renamed to Kyouchou no Gishiki Fuuin [ Cooperative Ritual Seal ]. Drains half the Chakra of every sealer or 320 Chakra split between them, whichever's greater.
  • Bijuu Attachment [ Otogakure Version ]: Renamed to Togyo no Fuuin Shiki [ Sacred Enshrinement Sealing Formula ]. It now takes time to complete after the initial sealing and drains Chakra per post during that time, though the cost can be deferred by having more people help.
  • Shinten Fuuin no Waza [ Art of the Extension Seal ]: Increased its rank to S-Rank and added a bit about using it on regular seals.
  • Genryuu Kyuu Fuujin [ Complete Nine Mystical Dragon Seal ]: English name changed to "Phantom Dragons Nine Consuming Seals". No longer requires antagonist status, but also consumes slots like Pain's other jutsu. Also drains Chakra like it's something to do. There's a reason Akatsuki had a bunch of people using this all at once.

  • Daisan no Me [ Third Eye ]: Given a leg up over its counterpart, in that it regenerates if destroyed and can zip about the place.
  • Suna Bunshin no Jutsu [ Sand Clone Technique ]: Can now be instantly recreated! Woo!
  • Suna Shuriken [ Sand Shuriken ]: Now ignores up to a 3 DR increase to Fortitude.
  • Suna Raishin [ Sand Lightning Needles ]: No longer shocks people.
  • Ryousa Bakuryou [ Quicksand Waterfall Flow ]: Increased its range to 30 meters (increased from 20).
  • Fuuton: Sasandan [ Wind Release: Sand Scattering Bullets ]: You can't immoblize people anymore if they have this sand in their blood. Boohoo.

Matatabi:
  • Tamashii no Jutsu [ Spirit Orb Technique ]: It can now move wherever you want it to within the subforum.
  • Kugi no Jutsu [ Nail Technique ]: Ends techniques instead of preventing their use. Makes it a bit more practical to use defensively and offensively, in my opinion.
  • Added a new technique: Karine [ Catnap ]. Snooze for a bit to eat up some Chakra and shorten your cooldowns. Sleep for longer and things get spooky...

Isobu:
  • Mizu Yobidashi no Jutsu [ Water Calling Technique ]: Increased range to 30 meters.
  • Shukuzuku Sanran no Jutsu [ Miniature Copy Spawning Technique ]: They can keep using techniques as long as you feed them now.
  • Kiri Gensou no Jutsu [ Mist Illusions Technique ]: Kai gives people a 1 post reprieve now and the illusions stop affecting anyone who leaves the mist.
  • Suisou no Jutsu [ Liquid Transmission Technique ]: Simplified it a bit and removed the requirement that you be the Sanbi to use it.

Son Goku:
  • Tekken no Jutsu [ Iron Fist Technique ]: Duration doubled. Negates knockback effects in specific circumstances when used alongside Ashi no Hada.

  • Hedoro Hoji no Jutsu [ Slime Preservation Technique ]: Now X-Rank.
  • Ichimyaku no Jutsu [ Connecting Thread Technique ]: Clarified how much of the Chakra the user gets.
  • Kumokasumi no Hedoro [ Disappearing Slime ]: Chakra draining slime used with this technique no longer returns Chakra to the user, but rather perpetuates its own existence.
  • Fushokudan [ Corrosion Bomb ]: Decreased its range from subforum-wide to thread-wide.
  • Namekuji no Kyouran [ Slug's Frenzy ]: Chakra drain stops at 1 Chakra. This should hopefully make encounters with Saiken a bit less than instantly lethal for lower-level characters.
  • Hedoro Saisei no Jutsu [ Slime Resuscitation Technique ]: Same deal as Kumokasumi no Hedoro.

Choumei:
  • Hikitsuri no Jutsu [ Twitch Technique ]: Situational reflex boost and a range clarification.
  • Haoto no Jutsu [ Hum Technique ]: Increased rank to C and made it automatically counter emotion-influencing techniques that would make you not calm.
  • Hirumu no Jutsu [ Flinch Technique ]: Added a 2 post cooldown to its effectiveness (rather than its usage).
  • Haijanpu [ High Jump ]: Added a clause that lets movement techniques go through the air for its duration.
  • Katto [ Fly into a Rage ]: Physical and jutsu strength doubling changed to a supreme increase to physical strength and ignoring flinching and stunning effects.

Gyuuki:
  • Kumori no Shimi [ Spot of Shadow ]: Gave it something that it actually does for you. Your attacks ignore up to a mild reflex increase if they pass through the shadow.
  • Yami no Nami [ Wave of Darkness ]: Decreased the range to 10 meters.
  • Toubatsu [ Subjugation ]: Removed the tail restriction.

Kurama:
  • Nikushimi [ Hatred ]: Removed the stage restriction.

Taijutsu & Bukijutsu:
  • All: Added stances. Full integration of the stances and more in-depth reworks are forthcoming.
  • Konoha no Tai: Removed clone-based techniques, rearranged things so it's not so front-heavy. Sodate Rakka [ Raising Drop ] renamed to Ageoroshi [ Raising Drop ] and given a completely different effect.
  • Pi Qua Quan: Some minor rewording. Added "Quan" to round out the Pi, Qua, and Quan trio. Changed some effects to make more sense with current systems.
  • Be Water My Friends:
    • Renamed to The Elegant Flow of Water, to match its description.
    • Retooled the description to explain how it propagated to Kirigakure, which is its patron village, and make it fit the actual content of the style better.
    • Lots of edits to what bonuses the techniques give. More or less gave this a total overhaul while trying to keep the aesthetic intact.

  • Kyuuten no Kumori: Gave it passive stat increases. Reworked a lot of the techniques that gave more intangible bonuses to define some concrete effects.
  • Iwagakure no Tai:
    • Rearranged techniques so there's a more even distribution throughout the style.
    • Removed Maruton: Goryu Danga [ Null Release: Mud Beachball ], Stone Floor Sweep, Jagged Armor of Dust, Rising Earth Fragments.
    • Renamed several techniques and/or gave them japanese names for internal consistency.
    • Jishin Kobushi [ Earthquake Fist ] reworked into a stance.

  • Sazanami: Retooled the stances to be more in line with current plans.
  • Resshuuken:
    • Removed Nerve Strike, Triple Fissure, Creating the Collision.
    • Simplified many of the descriptions where possible.
    • Reworked some of the effects to be more in line with the norm.
    • Turned Twisting Block, Swimming Defense into stances.

  • Kanjo-Tekina Ikari: Completely rewritten from the ground up. Only the broad strokes of the style's flavor are the same.
  • Haraise: Expanded to have a full 6 stages.


Bloodline Changes
  • Reformatting so things are more consistent.
  • Very, VERY light proofreading.
  • Slight adjustments on durations, ranges, etc. for a limited number of techniques.
  • Lessening the demerits on Kuuton and Kouton (Light).
  • Byakugan: Reduced range on some techniques.
  • Sharingan: Izanagi changed to negate cooldowns for Kawarimi and Shunshin.
  • Hyouton:
    • The "Hyouton [ Ice Release ]" special ability is now required before learning Formless Hyouton.
    • Fubuki's Ice Bombs now play better with the crafting system.

  • Mokuton:
    • Replaced "Moku Soujuu [ Wood Manipulation ]" with "Mokuton [ Wood Release ]", which is basically the same as the "Hyouton [ Ice Release ]" ability from that bloodline. This replacement will occur for any bloodline with an "XX Manipulation" ability.
    • Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Cutting Technique ], Thrice-Folded Wooden Shield: Changed to X-Rank.
    • Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [ Wood Clone Technique ]: Changed to A-Rank.
    • Reduced the enormous Chakra Pool increase to +20 per Body Rank starting at D rather than +80.

  • Ranton: Reizaa Saakasu [ Laser Circus ]: Converted to an actual technique that functions more or less how the "ability" did.
  • Bakuton: Removed the weakness to Genjutsu and restriction on learning General Method Ninjutsu.
  • Yamanaka: Changed their special ability "Inton: Kakikaeru [ Mind Release: To Rewrite ]" to play better with the current Genjutsu system.
  • Inuzuka: Turned Howling Mode into a normal Jutsu rather than a Special Ability.
  • Douka:
    • Better detailed the mechanics of assimilation and its weaknesses/limitations.
    • Minor rework of the core abilities to make them (hopefully) less overwhelming.
    • Changed "Foreign Substance Manipulation" to "Advanced Substance Manipulation". Added a different "Foreign Substance Manipulation" ability.

  • Jiongu: Removed the restriction that you couldn't be Genjutsu class.
  • Souma no Kou: Switched the Advanced Evolution's dependence to be on Body Rank instead of title. Reduced the total ranks available from 20 to 14.
