The Abandoned Ossilin Mansion

"What is it about?" Lydia asked.

Garin led Sanvi out of the woods and saw the big old house for the first time in centuries. "....Looks like it had been abandoned for a long time...." he commented, quietly.

"Yeah," Sanvi said. "So your family used to live here?"

Durrahn shrugged. "Something about a hero going after an artifact for his friends," she replied. Ironic, it actually sounded fun when you weren't the one going through it.

"Sounds exciting," Lydia said.

"Yes, before they were wiped out," Garin said, walking towards the front door.

Sanvi nodded. "I see," she said. She followed him to the door.

Garin went over and gently put his hand against the door. He jumped as he got a little jolt, as if from static electricity.

"What is it?" Sanvi asked. She sounded worried. "Is there a spell or something?"

"I'm not sure," Garin said and opened the door, carefully.

"Be careful..." Sanvi said. She glanced over his shoulder.
