Nimue's Maze Some myths say she did it out of duty; some say she did it out of cruelty, others kindness in some she regretted her decision, and in others she did not.
Whatever the reasons, Nimue is rumored to have led Merlin astray -- and now she is going to try to do the same to you.
Dare you follow her into a maze wrought with hazards for a mere chance at winning Nimue or one of many other prizes? Prompts will be every two days, so this an active game!
_________________________________________________
Day One:
If you choose to join this event, you find yourself at the entrance of a maze. From within, you can hear tantalizing echos of Nimue's voice, urging you inward, enticing you to risk the dangers of the maze to come find her.
The maze branches before you. Due to a heavy, magical mist, you can't see more than a couple feet before your feet, so there is little way for you to choose between the two offered paths.
The one on the left offers a hissing, rolling sound like the ocean. The one on the right offers a haunting, hollow, empty echo.
Which one do you choose?

Rules
You can participate in this event either with one of your Kimeti, or a kimeti made up solely for the sake of the maze, and the choice is entirely up to you. If you use an existing Kimeti, participation will count toward your legendary requirements.
A new prompt -- a new piece of the maze, a new fork in the road -- will be provided every two days until the end of the maze. You must make your decision, or you will be removed from the game.
There is only one correct path through to Nimue, and there are many hazards along the way. Some of these hazards are prizes. Some will simply kick you out of the event, or back to the beginning.
Every prompt, post a short paragraph justifying your decision, and roll 1d20. This roll may or may not be used, entirely at Nimue's discretion, but it is likely to determine your outcome if you take a wrong fork.
You are highly encouraged not to all go the same way. There are tons of prizes in this event, at least one down every branch. If you split up, you are much more likely to win something, but keep in mind there is also only one right way through the maze.

Recoat licked the mist surrounding him with success. His searching for the elusive maze ended with his current excitement. Regardless of the outcome, he felt better knowing that he at least found the entrance. As the sound of his hooves were muffled by the mist, the buck glanced this way and that. Unfortunate, that he could barely see, because he had heard about the intricate patterns and designs on the maze walls and wished to see them for himself. Of course, with his luck, there would be nothing there. Refusing to let such thoughts bring him down, Redcoat came to a fork in the maze. The two options were simple - waves or nothing. It was no contest, he didn't like silence. Redcoat veered off to the left and toward the sounds of rolling water.

Lull in Sunlight paused in thought at the entrance to the maze. She knew nothing of it, but as often happened knowledge, or the lack there of, provided little resistance to the curiosity. She didn't mind at all that she could barely see what lay ahead on either path, all the more enticing really. Her ears pricked upright, listening to the sounds of both ways and while the water type sound was intriguing, it brought to mind flashes of the sun's reflection that glittered like gems, she found herself twisting her neck to stare to the right. The hollow echo reminded her of breathing and she wondered then if there was someone in there. That was enough for her--more than enough. She merrily slipped to the right to see what was waiting.

Water's Grace saw the entrance to the maze. The sounds of her voice from the center filled her ears. Was Nimue an answer to her past? Both kimeti were like the water, and very ghostly in everything they did. Trying to call back with a few notes of song, she knew that her voice could not penetrate the fog. Taking a few steps forward, she listened. The left side was filled with the sound of.....the ocean? Grace kenw that Nimue lived in a lake, not an ocean. To the right was the sound of nothing, just an echo of silence. Grace stood there, undecided. Picking up a pebble from the ground in between her teeth, she saw that one side was a different shade than the other. " Okay, if I get the darker shade, I'll go to the right, and the lighter shade means I'll go to the left," she decided. Throwing the stone on the floor, she saw that the darker shade was face up. Taking a deep breathe, she moved towards the right entrance and walked into the maze.

Treading lightly through the thick mist, Inverse Dawn finally accepted that the firefly she was chasing had successfully eluded her, and she was well and truly alone - in an odd place, too. What time of the day was it, and why was the mist so thick? These questions she quickly brushed aside when she realised there was a more important task at hand: finding some source of water. Pursuing bugs always made her thirsty. The doe's choice, therefore, was clear. Licking her lips in anticipation of a drink, she took the left fork, entering the maze.

Blue Streak had come upon the maze by sheer accident. She'd just been bouncing through the Swamp as usual, chattering away to the foxbun dozing on her back, when suddenly she'd been confronted by the entrance to what seemed to be a series of chambers. And she could hear a kimeti's voice from within, beckoning her. For a minute, she pranced in small, indecisive circles, circling nearer to one room, then the other, trying to figure out where the voice was coming from. "You know silence isn't really all that nice and I bet it would be so much nicer if I could talk and maybe that echo means there's a big old cavern and I like the way my voice echoes in those..." her voice faded as she bounced down the right path.

Forgotten Feathers was such a clumsy doe, and had tendencies to get lost as it was. This mist was so thick she couldn't even see two steps in front of her! After a thought, she came to the consideration it probably wouldn't be any different if she could see two steps in front of her, except she'd look at her feet and probably fall on her face. The voices in the mist were interesting, and drawing to the innocent doe. She was very curious about what would be inside. Perhaps someone like her was also lost in this mist?
"Oh dear, oh dear..."
Reaching a cross in the road, the doe took the left path without much thought. She hadn't really been able to see! She just grabbed the first path closest to her so she would not trip over some branch she could not see. She slowly walked deeper in, trying not to bump into the branches of the maze.

Only Forever wasn't sure how he found himself upon this maze since it looked like a small cave from the outside. He loved exploring areas like this. Something caught his ear though, a whisper almost. Someone calling out? Only disliked being told what to do so he tried to ignore the voice but the idea of some sort of maze pulled him in. He found himself at a cross roads at the beginning with the simplest of choices. Right or left? From the left he could hear what sounded like water. The right offered no sound. Only thought for a moment, the right path was almost straight from where he was, along the wall. Left looked like it would take him towards the center of this maze, away from here at least. So which way? Darn these things for being deceiving. Finally deciding Only went down the right path, hoping the silence wouldn't last forever.

Seeking Wind stood, legs splayed, listening to the sounds that echoed within the maze. What on earth was in there? She heard a voice whispering someplace far off, and eyed each passageway with interest. It couldn't be that bad, right?
She closed her eyes and spun around once, twice, three times.. when she opened them she walked straight forward and went to the left.

Eclipse stood at the mouth of the maze; he'd been listening to the wispy, faraway voice for half an hour now. Other kimeti had gone in, following the noises... they hadn't seen him standing in the deepest, thickest shadows. His coat was so dark that was probably for the best. What would they have said? "Oh, Eclipse, running after voices again, pining for someone..." After another moment's deliberation, Eclipse shook his hair out of his eyes and walked deliberately into the maze. The shadows were thick and deep; there was something else there, too, two different paths. It was impossible to figure out which way the voice was coming from; one path echoed with water, the other echoed hollowly. Utter silence. Taking a deep breath, Eclipse swished his tail and took the right path. He understood silence.

Something Shiny had never seen a cave quite like this one. She wavered between the hissing sound and the hollow one, but there was a problem. In her quest for shiny things, she wasn't sure just which way to go. The again, the hollow sound reminded her of the way her tummy rumbled when she was hungry -- how likely was she to find anything in a hungry cave? Slowly but gaining speed, her steps turned toward the left path, until her hooves clopped more cheerfully on the stone.
