Who is the best, and therefore the worst main character?

Best main character would have to be
Zack Fair from Final Fantasy Crisis core
he's amazing and is one sexy fighter
he is also a cute restless puppy who just is full of energy
i felt sorry that he died protecting his best friend

Worst Main Character would have to be
Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy Vii Dirge of Cerberus
no offense but he is a cool character, but sometimes he can seem so depressing and boring i mean come one he has to keep apologizing for his so called sins to his dead girlfriend

Best is debatable.....
I have played all of them except FF11 and the crap pile that is FF13...
But the worst main character ever was easily Tidus.

I don't really have a "best" and "worst" opinion on characters, but I can say that one I really didn't like was Kinoc from FFX. He just got on my nerves the first time I saw him and did I mention he also looks like a creepy baby? Yeah he sucks I'm glad he died. > w>

My top three are 1. Tidus 2. Bartz 3. Firion
I think WoL and Onion Knight are the worst.

I say:
Of all Villains to be personal fav- Kefka,Shantotto
Of all Heros to be personal fav- Garnet, Aerith.
Main hero- Squall
Main villain- kefka
Worst hero- Cloud (I use to think he was decent, but since he is so over plaid and his personal story didn't really make him seam as awesome as some others. I gave up on him IMO)
Worst Villain- Cloud of Darkness (Powerful yes, but didnt really effect me for story wise)

If anyone's going by the characters from Dissidia instead of their original games, they have to re-evaluate their votes. Cecil in IV is not really like his Dissidia counterpart. He is nowhere near the worst character from the series. And who I think is the worst? It depends on the definition. Are we going based off stats, personality or story? Because I personally dislike characters like Vaan and Tidus. Pretty boys who have unending optimism. and like baring their chests too much, no matter where they are.

Honestly, I love the two main characters vying for last place. Cecil was a good character who had to make a change that I enjoyed watching. I will admit Tidus annoyed me in the beginning. But he made a change too and became a better person. Gotta respect that.
