Description: A counterattack used after blocking a horizontal slash. The user blocks with their sword held vertically, tip down. The user then bashes the opponent's head with the guard, and if they are successfully stunned/struck, follows up with an immediate upward slash, adding a twisting motion and pivot, with their hand on the back of the blade, pushing the opponent's sword up and out of the way. A successful slash with leave the user with their back to the enemy, so caution must be taken. Ignores 1 DR of opponent's strength for every one of the user's Formless Style Medium Weapon training (Max of 6).

Pending. The bottom part of the description is a little off, since Weapon Master allows someone to have access to all of medium weapons if you choose that deviation. That could mean a lot of DR reductions. Therefore, I'm just going to ask if you can make it so that it reduces 1 DR of the opponent's strength per rank you use this technique at?

→→Description: This technique is intoned by paying the appropriate chakra cost and intoning "BEHOLD" followed by a shamanistic motion of some kind which can be a swing of a weapon, a flowing movement of the arms, a kick, even a clap. The target will see the world darken, azure mists rolling across the ground, cold as they roll over their skin, originating from the caster of the genjutsu. This mist will feel as if a heavy humidity, and collect into the shape of a tentacle that reaches out from the mist. Should the opponent care to look, numerous other tentacles will also raise, defying mathematics in their numerousness, the infinite motion seen within. These tentacles are a deep red with tomoe lining them in black. The tentacle that raises from the caster will grab at the target, diving into the target and ripping at their "soul." The genjutsu causes them to relive every moment of guilt and doubt they have ever face, every past life they may or may not have had. They will literally feel as though they are being crushed like a ton of weight hit their body. This tentacle will inviolably hit the target. The tentacle will snatch the image of the target, their soul, right out and have it stand just before the caster as the tentacles spawned around them constantly swat at and batter them, dealing A ranked "damage" as they struggle. It's like being hit by a boss summon each time they are hit, if they aren't avoided. On the third post, if this skill isn't kai'd then they will feel their body slowing down, the tentacles moving as if a rank faster now, and constantly attempting to crush them. They will see the background filling with water, blurring among the constantly moving, ever larger tentacles. If not kai'd on the fifth post, then the target will fail to reclaim their soul and be knocked unconscious for at least 5 posts. Conversely, if among the time they are caught by the genjutsu they reach a sort of zenith and growth point where they are invigorated with ambition, the genjutsu ends and they snatch back their soul from the depths. (This will be discussed prior to the use of the genjutsu.) In addition, landing a blow on the caster will knock one post off of the duration and prevent you from being dragged below for each hit landed, which then forces the upkeep cost to be paid to keep it going.

Pending. Why do you oppose making it a sliding scale where the rank you use of the technique determines how much strength DR the opponent is ignoring? With how it's worded right now, just having S ranked medium weapon training means that, regardless of the rank of the technique, all usages of it will negate 6 points of DR. That kind of dances around the rules of DR increases / decreases of custom techniques which I cannot abide by. However, I don't think you're trying to slide something under the table, so if I'm just missing something, please let me know.

B rank- user is able to make his aura, around his limbs, longer or shorter at will making an invisible like blade
A Rank- user is able to make his aura, around his limbs, longer and shorted in a flash cause ones limbs to be a deadly weapon.

Description: A seal is created in the shape of the Shishin Symbol which does nothing upon creation. After inscribing the seal it is permanent.

On each of the cardinal points of the seal Inaba can inscribe a further seal which is a seal which includes a set of instructions. When a certain event happens that sealed jutsu is unleashed. Jutsu unleashed cannot be Bukijutsu or Taijutsu techniques.

All associated costs must be paid in advance.

For example Inaba could set a condition that upon reaching 0 Stamina or 0 Chakra that the user performs the Reverse Kuchiyose no Jutsu targeting Inaba. Upon that condition being met the pre-paid costs are consumed and the person with the seal arrives by Inaba safely out of harm's way.

The sealed does not need to necessarily know the jutsu which has been sealed into them or have a body rank that allows them to cast it as all costs are paid by Inaba.


Slight variant on the Transcription Seal? Not sure it's different enough though it has a few different applications. The example is what I mostly wanted to achieve though and is possible with the Transcription Seal as it stands.

Description: When afflicted with this seal the sealed is forced to use a technique or an ability even if they don't know it. All of the chakra and stamina costs are paid by Inaba upfront upon creation of the seal.

This can be any technique though Inaba himself has to know it.

For example Inaba could force someone to attempt to use one of his bloodline techniques which, provided they had the physical characteristics to do so, would cause no issue though may not have the same effect.

Those without the elemental discipline to use a technique however would simply have nothing happen. For example if a ninja without Suiton attempts to use a Suiton technique nothing would happen.

Description: A seal which must be inscribed upon something durable (i.e. certain metals, woods, minerals, etc). Anything less will cause the material to shatter.

The seal itself will house two things; an object and chakra. The chakra may not be used by the user but it is to fuel its purpose. A maximum of 160 chakra may be stored. The second housing area holds anything within its size range (nothing larger than 3 square feet)
Upon sealing, the user will have the ability to choose a singular attribute that the object can bestow (example: if a rabbit were stored within, one may choose 1+ to speed or even slightly better hearing. One cannot have "the legs of a rabbit" literally/figuratively or two extra arms nor can they choose anything that the rabbit never had. Attributes dealing with DR cannot exceed maximum).
Once both the object and the chakra are placed within, the user performs a few hand signs to seal them both permanently. One may not switch from one attribute to another when it is sealed. Only one may be chosen for the entire duration of the seal.

Every time the seal is activated, X amount of chakra is taken from the stored chakra (if one uses the seal to raise the rank of a ninjutsu by 1, the amount of chakra used is equal to the original rank of the technique +10. If the attribute is not used on a technique/jutsu the cost is equal to the sealing jutsu itself (40 chakra)). Once the sealed chakra is depleted, the object and seal then break, releasing whatever object was stored and leaving the housing item unusable.

Description: During the time of crisis, it can be hard to be able to find everyone and set up a telepathic link, each second counts. Instead, Sayuri had found a way to avoid that. Using flowers at home, she discovered edible flowers even after they are dried out still can be edible for weeks and months to come. All she has to do is make handsigns, use the chakra that is normally used for telepathy [ E ] combined with Fuuin and place it on the petal. She has to make posts of how many she makes and who she gives it out to. There will be a link on her profile of whom she handed it to with the link directing to the post she had given it to. No matter how far her allies are, just eat it and it connects to Sayuri's telepathy link and can give her information or location if they are in danger. And they could continue that link as stated on bloodline till Sayuri ends it or the target who had eaten it, ends it.

Description: In short, a very physical and real version of Henge no Jutsu.
tab Derived from Ningeniro [Human Color], Endless Masquerade changes the physical shape and form of the body down to the finest anatomical details. Endless Masquerade can change color (any shade, natural or not), gender, alter age, and modify the body's proportions and various sizes. It is, however, limited by the limits of what the standard human body can handle, which are outlined below.
tab Barring certain genetic exemptions, such as the Akimichi, experimenting with Endless Masquerade has revealed that attempting extreme size changes with this technique leads to not only malfunctioning body parts but also severe bodily harm in extreme cases. Becoming a giant, it is not only impossible for the human body, even under the influence of ninja magic, to safely create enough matter to support such growth, but the circulatory and nervous systems cannot keep up with the sudden change in size. On the opposite end of the spectrum, trying to alter the body to anything smaller than 3' or so not only squeezes the inner anatomy of the body, which cannot be made to reduce in time, but also has a high chance of further complications arising when the target reverts back to his original size.
tab All in all, the safe limits of Endless Masquerade tend to hover between approximately 3' and 7' of height and their respective underweight and overweight weights. Proportions between body parts need to be kept within reason, being able to border on but not cross into "abomination" territory.
tab Because of the delicacy of this technique, even if it can be executed in a timely and easy manner with enough practice, the target of Endless Masquerade must be willing for Endless Masquerade to take effect.
