Pokemon. Should it stay, or get cancelled?

Of course i'm talking about the t.v. show. The games just bring back some new things and the remakes bring out some of the old memories! But the t.v. show just plain SUCKS. So, what do you people think?

I hate the contests in the show and in the game. It was a shitty idea and it seems like they're just too stubborn to stop with it. I tried them in Ruby, but hated them and never tried again.

The voice actors are a little painful, too. I really do miss the original ones, even though the replacements are mimicking them surprisingly well, for not being them.

Ruby is easy if you know what to do. I just used a typhlosion and got to master O.o And your right. Those voices are pretty shitty.

Maybe it is easy, I don't know. I just couldn't care enough to train Pokemon specifically for contests. I hated it.

The cartoon isn't aimed at us, anymore, anyway. We aren't the demographic.

That's true, but still. I can't imagine most little boys would be into beauty contests.

I think one of the main problems is there's not much else they can do.
There's only so many directions one series can go.

I'm pretty sure they would have cancelled it ages ago if it wasn't doing well.

There are still kids. They are still potential game buyers. And the anime is still a good way to let kids know about it, a viable advertisement if you will.

Keep it on air. If you don't like the show, then don't ******** watch it.

I watched an episode of the new Pokemon recently, and compared to most of the other shows they have for kids nowadays, it's not bad. It sucks compared to the older seasons, but what can you do? Those kids won't notice the different voice actors.
I have to agree with Fish about the contests, though. At the end of the episode I watched, Dawn found out about some contest and that was what the next episode was going to be about. It's just boring. The show's supposed to be about helping other people/Pokemon and winning gym badges, dammit! scream
