Name: Foehn Valloran Nicknames: Foe Gender: Male Age: 14 15 Speaks In: sgilightblue #7D9EC0
Faction/Race Monster: Living Armour
Personality: Recalcitrant and clumsy, he nonetheless manages to pull off looking like an elegant young man - so long as he isn't moving around much and is calm. Piss him off too much and he will end up chasing you around (and falling on his face) with his long, blade-like finger stretching ever further to pierce your skin. Oh, and don't mention how much hair he has, or call him a girl. >F
Why did they enroll at the academy? Foehn was forged by several dark wizards of the Vallorian sect, but when he proved to be clumsy and quite unwilling to align himself properly, they dispaired of his ever being a successful Living Armor. When it was heard that the Amityville Academy would take in children like Foehn and make something of them, the wizards (his parents, sort of) immediately attempted to enroll him in the hopes that he would "straighten out".
Personally, Foehn is fine with being there - the longer he's in school, the stronger he becomes himself and - in his mind - the less likely he is to end up as someone's shiny fasion accessory!
Fear: Foehn and his kind are quite strong and able to absorb/heal damage to varying degrees based on age/skill - Foehn is clumsy/weak and can only do this at a very lesser degree currently. This is an rp-only trait at this point in time and may stay that way throughout the end of his school-career.
Living Armor are also able to pull any sort of bladed weapon from their bodies (and shove it back in, for that matter) to attack someone though this skill is something he will learn later in his schooling. He will also have to purchase any and all weaponry before he can play iSkewer - Living Armor cannot manifest them on their own.
Currently, his main skill is extending/expanding his bladed fingers and swiping at those he wishes to attack/scare.
"Though it affords excellent protection, few don this armor. The process is uncomfortable and not easily reversed." - Magic The Gathering

GROWTH POINTS:
After a certain amount of collected growth points, you can submit your student in for advancement to the next year (in theory, though its technically always October...) This gives them access more battle options, some higher level classes, and other special privileges.
The default word requirement is 800. GMs may require either more or less in their classes and events, and may also award growth points differently, so always read the first and last GM posts thoroughly.
1 point can be:
- One piece of fanart drawn by you for anything related to shop (max 5 points this way) - One complete regular rp - One full solo rp - One gm-modded event with point prizes (to be linked), where you included your character - One complete classroom rp - One complete homework assignment - One complete battle, with just rolls - Five minipets grown to their final stage (1 point per 5, up to 5 points can be earned this way)
2 points:
- One complete 'battle' roleplay with filled out roleplay actions - Character 'plot assistance' (ie for events) - Student is awarded a Pumpkin Seed by staff for outstanding work/achievements/something!
GROWTH REQUIREMENTS:
Year 1 to Year 2:
50 points + an exam (pass or fail) = growth towards next stage
Year 2 to Year 3:
50 points + one FINAL EXAM (pass only) AND TEACHER BATTLE (pass or fail)
Year 3 to Alumni:
75 points + one FINAL EXAM (pass only) AND TEACHER BATTLE (pass only)
Alumni have full access to the school. They may choose to continue learning with the teacher in very high, exclusive classes, and spend most of their time outside of school doing other activities. They may also be employed by the school to help in tasks such as T/Aing, library book-keeping, club assistance, event coordination, and the likes.
