Kage hardens his skin using condensed shadow within him. Just in time Kage takes the hit and it launches him. While soaring though the air Kage hit a tree a few meters away. He Recovers in a few seconds and then the tip of his hand start to flame and in a matter of seconds Kage disappears.

Quick to react, the Dragoon left the area of destruction, also taking note of the Guardian's sudden disregard for human life. Although it was natural for the Wanderers, it was not so much for the Guardians. But that was of no consequence. The battle was ending rather quickly here, and so he decided to rejoin his comrades back in Paris.

John watched as they all suddenly left the fight, he wasn't able to save the elder, he was to busy. His body relaxed as his powers relaxed as well, releasing the strain on his body from their usage. His breathing a slight pant as he looked around at the villagers as they came out of the forest. They appeared sad, sad for their lose. The lose of an elder that was dearly cared about, but knowing the Wraith's, he wasn't coming back to them, ever. He motioned over to the villagers, moving back with them to their village to comfort them, it was the least that he could do.

They didn't blame anyone for the lose, what could've been done. They understood, everyone has limits and they did nothing themselves to help in the fight. The lose of one of their panthers, they could accept that, but the elder, that would take time. As such, John had decided to spend some time with the villagers for a few days to help comfort them and reconnect with them. Their alliance seeming to have been strained prior, but he was going to insure it wasn't.

John smiled at the remaining elders and the village as he waved them good bye. He had spent some time with them, trying to repair old bonds and mend new ones. It was important to him to stay in close relationship with his allies and he was glad they were still his allies. Though now it was time for him to take his leave and return back to his city to check on it. He had expected it to be the same, he hadn't expected anything to happen. With that, his body was engulfed in a furry of shadows, disappearing from the Amazon.
