The Amazon, South America

A place of beauty, filled with dangers unseen. This massive forest has only grown more with the destruction of the humans capabilities to cut it down and force it back. With the explosion came even greater dangers inside the forest. Tribes and villages of people that have lived rather basic lives before and after the world wide destruction have prospered and flourished here now. They learned the skills needed to survive, those that survived the gas have lived how they have since before the war, with one new addition, their powers.

Some have become adept with their powers and use it to take their environment and use it further to their advantage. Only making the forest denser with new threats, unseen before. Creatures that would only be apart of someones imagination or nightmare brought to reality. The foliage in some areas has been brought fully to life to protect and...kill an intruders that come close to the hidden villages. The Amazon has truly become a more lethal place then before, now not just because of disease and predators but because of the very plants you walk by. Though they have something to protect, not just their lives and way of life.

Hidden in some of the densest parts the forest are villages that are sided with the Guardians. There being rumors of the very material that has started the war to be held inside of the village, only the village elders knowing its location. But these are only rumors that float adrift in the air from ear to ear passed by a simple word of mouth. None of it has been confirmed, then again, no one has gotten close to these villagers or at least...haven't come back alive that is.

Kage appears out of a flame. Feeling the earth he hits it making what appears to be a small hut. Under this hut is a massive structure.

The structure is large. There are two living quarters. One for males and the other females. These rooms have bunk beds for everyone to share. Then theirs a meeting room. This room has a large round table that has strange designs on it. The chairs are stone too. Each one with the same simple patterns but theirs a large chair that's for Kage him self. This has different designs and is not like the rest. Then there are several other rooms. Including a lounge and a place for mediation. Each room has a giant chandelier . Kage uses his pyrokinese to light these. This means there are light in every room. In the hallways there are light torches.

Kage enters the hut. He heads straight for the meeting room. Here he is waiting for everyone. Hes pleased and Kage smirks in approval of this new base.

Mantis entered the meeting room after looking around the base "This has good strategic value," he complimented Kage on the base, not wanting to get on the wrong side of every wraith leader. He sat down at the table across from Kage, again if he was going to get throttled that would give him an extra half-second. He had been modifying his body over the whole trip "Want me to make the tigers into bombs?"

" Yes that will be are first order of conduct. I will send one person too go with you and you'll both have to capture at least 20 tigers and program there brain to head for the village. Get the chips ready while we wait for the others. Go to the medition room and look to the east wall there, there should be a loose brick.Behind that there is a lever,pull it and a door should open. That will be your lab. I need you to be ready....... hurry we need to devise a plan together with the others."

Kage sits there waiting for more members to show up. He starts to become impatient

"You had me at 'Yes'," Mantis told him with a bow and excused himself from the room to go program the chips and make some bombs, and maybe get some potato chips for the meetings, maybe send some back to Letum with a bomb in them... scratch that Letum would probably survive and electrocute him. He entered the lab to see all of the amenities it provided him, with that he began prep high powered bombs so he could change the tiger's blood to something highly flammable while putting chips into the computer so they could be ready for the brainwashing of the captured tigers.

Rising out of the ground, as she always did when traveling large distances, Maria walked into the building, and sat down in the closest chair. "So what's the plan?"

" Leave and gather members. Do not return without all of them."

Kage has a plan. He just wishes the rest of the wraiths would show up.

The forest floor around the hut the Wraith's had began to gather in the, came creatures that had unusual and unseen appearances before but only there general outline could be seen in the shadows. Their piercing red eyes, vivid and field with murder, most had a feline appearance but had odd protrusions out of their backs and seemed to large, even for a jaguar. The plants and the trees themselves seemed to close in on the hut and move closer. The ground underneath, in the hideout, began to splinter and spiderweb as roots visually popped forth from the surrounding ground.

A man stepped forth from the forest into the clearing the hut rested in. "Kill them." He said aloud, his voice was strong and was that of a man not unknown to fighting and death. But as he spoke the underground channels of the hut suddenly began to collapse. The trees and plants above the surface moved violently, their roots shooting around under the ground like steel rods. It easily obstructed the underground areas and caused them to begin to collapse. The only warning the people had inside was the momentary cracking that happened just before the attack, otherwise, they would be clueless. But the question was, was this a single man doing all of this? Or was it more?

Sensing the massive roots moving through the ground, as well as the gathering animals outside, Maria soon realized what was happening, although not completely. She knew they were being attacked, and how, but who the attacker was, or where they were. "It seems we have unwelcome company." Maria stood up quickly, ran quickly out the door, and readied herself to fight.

Mantis made his way out of the lab so he wouldn't be crushed "God Dammit," he swore as he grabbed his sub machine gun from his coat. He made his way up through the passages and into the hut itself. He had some mini-bombs he was going to use for the tiger in the lab but had been so rudely interrupted. "You know you remind me of someone," he yelled to the outside attackers, "and I'm planning on killing him too."

The man's eyes watched as two of the Wraiths coming forth from the hut. "We know your intentions, leave now or die. You shall not get near the village!" The man told them as he raised his right hand and then brought it down. As he did so three panthers came from the woods. These panthers had bony black spines coming from their backs and easily stood at five feet, weighing close to five-hundred pounds of raw muscle. They were more then strong enough to rip open a chest cavity of a human in one swipe or tear an arm from a body with ease. But they were changed by the villagers, this made them even stronger. This meant even biokinesis users would have a hard time defending against them, the bodies of the panthers being modified greatly to be far stronger then any limits of a normal panther and even stronger then that of the average biokinesis user.

This mean as the three panthers came at the two Wraiths, one from the left and two from the right, if they were biokinesis users even hardened flesh would only reduce damage against these panthers. To stop five-hundred pounds of raw muscle was even harder, losing very little agility for their bulk up. These villagers specialized in these sort of changes, that made there creations ever more deadly.

"And if we go back we will die anyway," Mantis told the man, "if we stay here under siege, we can keep making excuses and your village won't be burned to the ground to flammable urine, everyone wins except for the person who probably wants to kill me for talking about the choice of wood he used in his table." He slowly made blades in his wrist, knowing that the people couldn't make the eyes harder without compromising the panthers' vision and if he could then Mantis would know that Biokinesis was basically a pass to ignore physiology.

"You both talk to much." Maria raised several large stones out of the ground, which hovered momentarily at head level of the panthers, then launched towards them at high speed, fast enough to hurt the panthers even if they had hardened skin, although the damage would only be internal. There was even the possibility of the impact giving the panthers a concussion if it hit them the head.

((Is the five feet their eight on all fours, or their length? Because if the panthers are five feet tall on all fours, then their weight is about half of what it should be, and if the five feet is their length, then they are just quite a bit heavier than normal, and not really that much bigger then normal.))
