 The moss parted to crusty ground and Loop tried her hardest to love on the terrain. Sick, gross, ew, but she smiled the negative sentiments away. There was a silver lining in everything. The ground crunched like crushed snailshells because it was a safe haven for tiny critters. Yes. It was full of nutrients. Yes, the ground was good she thought as she briskly walked to the nearby water's edge to wash away the "goodness." Her tail swished as she fastidiously cleaned herself up. Crisp with water she looked at her reflection and mused. All living things were inherently good. She liked her dichotomies and saw things in stark contrast to her rainbow band. Loop never disturbed other living things because you just didn't do that if you were good. Her mother told her, "Treat others the way you'd like to be treated." With that mentality she loved on fiercely, her reflection glistening in heartfelt unison. All things were good, and there was peace and harmony in her world.

Stargarden was his usual self, not so aware and frolicking around the swamp. He vast hanging of horns looming over him and getting caught in the overhanging above him. He felt like everything was attacking him today. He didn't retaliate, though, flaunting his strength by just giving the overhanging a small shake. He was looking forward and that's when something caught this attention. It was bright, and colourful and not in the sky like it should be. It moved around the water until it stopped and seemed to splash about. It was perfectly correct to assume a rainbow would be cheerful -- it was so brightly coloured after all.
Never leave Stargarden with bright frog.
The stag moved towards it, trying to get a closer look. He was not quiet about it, his legs splashing around in the water behind her.

She peered at the lapping waves that broke her delicate concentration. Her tail and ears pricked up. Sensing a form behind her, she whirls around. With legs that blended in with the water, she was glad it was still daylight otherwise she would have done a double-look to make sure the sky wasn't moving. Majestic horns announced the other kimeti while his shockingly white tail reminded her this was no ordinary kindred spirit. She beamed a smile and inched closer, self-preservation burred under layers of her bubbling personality. Ticking her head side to side and saluted the other one, "Fancy meeting you here in such a manner!"

Fancy meeting here indeed. The sky met the sky's accessory. The stag studied the rainbow for a moment, glancing from it, to the water and then up to the sky. It wasn't unusual for the rainbow to be so close to the water. He nodded. "Very fancy," he said. He took a moment to think, trying to be quick with it as talking with a rainbow was a battle with time itself. "What is it you're doing all the way down here?" He asked.

The other kimeti's manner was foreign. Let's embrace diversity! "I thought I saw another rainbow, a double rainbow." Shifting her look from the kimeti to the sky she vivaciously muses, "I wish for more Rainbows." Loop's mind jumped in circles, want evident in her eyes. More rainbows would cheer up the swamp, but that wasn't to say her home was ugly. It was perfect the way it was but there was that yearning that something was incomplete. Perhaps a new dewberry bush would help. Speaking of berries, that reminded her of the sky looking kimeti. "I'm Loop" she beamed.

The stag nodded to the rainbow. It was a wonderful dream indeed. She wanted to breed, she wanted more rainbows! The stag wished deeply, he also would love to see more rainbows. They would brighten up the swamp, the skies he was so fond of and even the world!
"Loop," he said, thinking how suitable a name that was for a rainbow. "It is nice to meet you Loop."
"I hope many more rainbows come your way," he said carelessly. "I'm Stargarden."

There might as well have been stars in her eyes. She repeats the name to herself as she blatantly stares at the other kimeti from fluffy bunny tail to the horns as the statement of more rainbows coming her way washes over her back like water over a skipping stone. Bunnies. Hmmm. Lately, thoughts of cultivating a growing garden or multiple rainbows have been occupying her thoughts. This also coincided with her wanderlust, indeed. She takes it to mean she needs to seek something out and although meeting this grand kimeti is lovely, she feels in her dainty bones that the journey does not end here.
"Stargarden. I'm on an adventure. For more rainbows. I hope I find them, too.Do you know where's the best place?" her eyes shine to impossible peaks of brilliance.

The stag looked up to the sky. That was surely the best place to find rainbows, but this poor rainbow seemed to be grounded, unable to reach the sky anymore. "The sky is the surely the best place to find more rainbows," he said, lingering words carelessly, throwing out with double meanings. Depending on the kind of rainbow she sought, her adventure could surely end here with a special gift from the unsure stag. He really would love to help her find more rainbows.
"Can you not return?"

Looking back, Loop would reflect on this fated meeting that changed her life plan. But her current self couldn't even fathom why, but surely caught the important words of the sky buck. A deep, serious smile reflected back from the water's edge.
"I can and I will. Pleasant hooters" she runs off, delight overtaking the fear and chill.
