"Do you want me to leave?" Mit asked, "Or continue to keep watch on the door?"

"I want you to get some rest too," Violet said. "I don't watch you to be up all night."

"I can turn into a fox when were traveling... Sleep in my bag," Mit said, then looked at Tora, "I did promise you no one would come in here that you didn't want in here."

"I appreciate that," Tora said.

"Alright, but can you get some blankets and try to rest some?" Violet asked.

Mit gave her a smile, and stood, passing Spin to her, "I'll go get you two some blankets."

Violet smiled back and held Spin.

Mit pulled his chair out of the way of the door, and walked out. He went down the hall and found the linens' closet. All the blankets were homespun, but he pulled free two of the softest, and the largest he could from the stacks, and brought them back. "I think I may have found something that should cover you Tora..."

Tora looked up when he was spoken to, "You didn't have to, but thank you," He said. He carefully took one with a paw and tried to cover himself with it.

Violet reached over to help him.

"Injuries should be kept warm, dry and clean." Mit quoted one of the healers he knew. He dropped the other blankets on the cot, "Violet, you should take the bed."

"No, that's okay," Violet said. "You can have it."  

[Hiraru Sagara]

"Violet, I'm a guy. Every moral code I've ever even heard of would frown at me if I didn't let you have the bed." Mit said, "And you know how I hate having Moral Codes frown at me."

"I don't get what gender has to do with it," Violet said, sitting down on the floor beside Tora. "Besides, I'm happy here."

Tora watched what was going on, "Just take the bed already Mitica," He said, to try and end this stalemate. He lifted his good wing and covered Violet with it like it's a blanket.
