Character Descriptions: WORLD 1

The first "world" story I created that's based on one of my earliest avatars, the pimpin' pirate! I first started the "basic story" idea with my best friend, k3i (with her characters, keikei). I don't have any "point" of the story yet haha. Almost 2 years and still in the making ^^;;;

The Basic Story: This story is about the life adventure of a wandering pirate, Sho, and her small crew of pirate mates. Along the way, she'd come to meet her "best friend" and a demon, whom later would become her lover. Together, they'll face tough enemies, silly rivals, and all-in-all grand adventure <3

THE PIMPIN' PIRATE, SHOKO
[SHO]

Background: She is a child of half elf and half demon, who looks around the age of mid 20's, although she's much older than that. She's the captain of a small pirate's crew.

Most of her childhood was filled with abuse. Her mother, a demon, was murdered by her own people for having an indecent affair with an elf. Her father--an elf, heartbroken, was banished from his village. After the death of his lover, he fell into a deep depression, which eventually would kill him, and felt that he was in no condition to care for his daughter. Thus, he put Sho in a human adoption center when she was still very young.

She went through several adoptions; each one of them proved to be abusive and resulted of her finally running away. She ended up growing up on the streets in a major city. She concealed her tail by wrapping it around her waist, and her elven ears with her long hair.

In her mid teen years, an unfortunate incident cost her one eye and her "purity." Since then, she's had a very hard time trusting "humans." It's not until she met with an old pirate couple that she learned to trust them again. The couple eventually adopted her (though not officially) and she learned to live the "honest" pirate way. They taught her to accept herself the way she was. She learned to appreciate herself and

When the couple died because of old age, Sho decided to take over what's left of the small pirate crew. Throughout her voyage, she's recruited a few more members for her crew, which included her "little sister," Sachiko, best friend, KeiKei, and not-so-secret-lover, Lucien.

Personality: She's very charming and witty. Mischievous, definitely. She loves to drink/smoke/steal -- though mostly from the rich. Besides cigarettes, one of her fascinations is piercings. She wears piercings of golden and other jewel accesories, which she acquaired from her "treasure hunts" sessions. She also has a tattoo of a skull with eyepatch on her right arm, which is essentially the same design as her pirate flag.

Physical Description: She has crimson hair that she always keeps short because of a "trauma" caused by an accident. One of her eyes (her right one) was burnt in said "accident." Her remaining eye is bright orange; and because she's of a half elf descent, her ears are pointy. Her skin is tanned because of the days she'd spend on the sea.

As for her clothes, she wears a white ruffled tube top, which covers the small of her back and her breasts. It reveals her strong abs, which is accessorized with a pierced navel. The skirt she wears matches the color of her hair and is flowy and ruffled (like a boa) at the bottom. As for her shoes, if the chosen artist would like to change it to make it look better that's fine with me. I've had some artists that changed the platform shoes to platform boots because they feel it'd look better on her. The pose is up to the artist as long as she's smoking (and the bottle doesn't have to be there).

THE BABY SISTER, SACHIKO
[SACHI]

Background: She joins Sho's little crew at a very young age. Her origins is also unknown, but it's suspected that she is of an elf descent. Nothing much is known of her past since Sachi does not remember either. Sho meets her at one of the streets of the city she's roaming around in. At the time, little Sachi is living on the streets with orphans that had lost their parents during an attack of the city. The moment she sees Sho walking around (with a tail behind her), Sachi is fascinated and follows the young pirate, while playing around with Sho's tail. At first, Sho finds the girl to be of a nuissance and tries to get rid of her. She feels that Sachi would bring bad luck to herself and her crew.

It all changes when Sachi saves their lives in a brawl. Ever since then, Sho takes Sachi with her, thinking that the girl has hidden powers. She later finds out that Sachi does bring her better luck in her treasure hunts. Sachi, who seems to be oblivious of her own powers, is then becomes part of the "family." Sho adopts her as her little sister and grows very fond of the little girl, swearing her own life in protection over her own.

Physical Description & Personality: Sachi is very sweet, cute, and easy going. She looks around the age of 13-14 years old and acts like it as well. Her actual age is unknown. She's almost always smiling and cheery. Her big light brown eyes cannot hide her emotions well. Even when she tries to hide any sadness or discomfort, her eyes reveal her true emotions. She loves sweets and any cute creatures ( and doesn't hold back in expressing how she feels about them either ^^;;; ). Her skin is slightly lighter than Sho's. Her hair is pink.

As for her clothes, she wears a slightly-darker-than-sky-blue sleeveless dress that reaches just above her knees. She wears a big white scarf that usually cover 1/3 of her lower face. Like the rest of my characters, I usually let artistic freedom to the artists I commission, so you can play around with the design of her clothes, as long as she's still recognizeable to me. She also wears a pair of bunny pins and seal slippers.*

* = In some of the examples/commissions you'll see, she has ports, chickie slippers and angelic wings. This was an older design of her. I'd like the current description above to be used as her current outfit, please. :3

THE GATE KEEPER,
LUCIEN

Background: Sho met him inside a cave, that's said to have an abundance amount of treasures. This cave's location was not shown on the world map and the crew actually found it by "accident" after being caught in the eye of the storm. Instead of treasures, however, they found Lucien, who was the keeper of the cave for many years. Soon, they found out that the cave actually the "gate" to another world. No one was supposed enter the secret passageway, and Lucien made sure of it. (Sho could tell from the piles of bones of what she thought as pirates like herself that was unfortunate and dumb enough to try to break pass Lucien).

Though she was curious, for the sake of her crew (and Sachi), she decided to leave the place. Lucien was actually surprised by her action and was almost disappointed that they decided to leave. Sho actually felt pity for him because she could tell he was rather lonely. So, she invited him to be part of her crew. At first, he hesitated, but after some convincing, he put up a strong barrier around the cave so no one from Sho's world would be able to enter it and left with Sho. One of the reasons why he decided to join was the fact that Sho had a demon attribute like him (the tail). He was drawn to her almost instantly.

Personality: He's very quiet and reserved. He's rather mischievous, too, in his own way. Like Sho, he shares the same "passion" for smoking. His relationship with Sho is not a typical romantic kind. They don't show affection for each other very often, but there's no denying that they're in love with one another. Their longing for companionship was one of the reasons of them "being" together. There was never any official "announcements" of their relationship, but one should think twice about making any "moves" towards Sho or Lucien.

Physical Description: Lucien has a silver hair that reaches to the base of his neck. It flows rather freely and shines brightly whenever hit by the moonlight. [Sometimes, Sho would tease him and call him a "flashlight" ^^;] His skin is dark--kind of ashy brown tone. He has a mark, that looks like tribal tattoos, which run from the back of his palm, along the outer part of his arms, and up to the sides of his neck. His eyes are bright yellow.

Besides the tail, he also has a pair of horns and a pair of devil's wings on his head. He wears a tattered black cape, black gloves, and black leather pants. He also wears a golden pendant with crimson orb attached at the bottom of it. The sun glasses he has was given as a "gift" from Sho. His weapon is a long and heavy magical trident that can only be lifted by his kind (Sho is also able to lift and carry it for a shortwhile for being a halfling).

THE PSYCHO BESTFRIEND,
KEIKEI

Background: Sho met this crazy woman after her meeting with Sachi (before Lucien). In one of the bars they stopped in, she witnessed KeiKei in a brawl, where Kei easily defeated her opponents without killing them. Later, Sho would find that Kei was not exactly "straight" up in her head.

So why did Sho recruit Kei? Despite Kei's "defects," Sho was majorly impressed with the way Kei was able to handle guns and other long-ranged weapons. In that world, women were not viewed as powerful. Even though Kei did not really see herself as a woman, Sho saw her as one of the great "pioneers" in breaking the typical standards of women. They quickly became great friends.

Personality: Kei was one that usually acted on impulse. She's also crass, stubborn, and "wild" (not in a "sexy" way; more psychotic). Her anger was easily fueled and would sometimes bring unwanted attention. When one looks in her eyes, one would see the madness in there. It almost seems as if she enjoys the fights and challenges. Often, she would be the first to start brawls.

Physical Descriptions: Kei's favorite weapon is her pair of .357 silver magnums with red wood handle, which she wears on each side of her hip. She also has a small and short muzzled golden .357 magnum that she keeps within her boots.

Her clothes are never really typical. Her style is definitely more western type. She likes to wear a pair of shorts that she cut herself. She has two styles. Her hair is originally golden yellow, which matches her eyes. She'd later bleach her hair to make it more of an orange shade. Her skin is of a light peach shade even though she spends most of her time in the sun.

In outfit 1, (which is the outfit when she first meets Sho), she wears a brown type of scheme outfit. She wears a cowboy hat; a pair of matching shorts that's folded at the bottom; a matching brown vest over a black tube top. Like Sho, she also wears a fingerless pair of dark brown gloves. Her hair is blond at this time.

In outfit 2, (which is the outfit she wears after being with Sho's crew) she usually wears a dark blue jacket over a low cut red tank top with a blue pair of shorts. She sometimes doesn't wear the jacket. Along with it, she wears a blue scarf on her neck, blue headwrap, and a pair red/white striped-thigh high stockings that's covered with another pair of legwarmers around her lower legs. She wears a pair of brown boots underneath the legwarmers. She'd bleach her hair towards an orangey type of color at this time.
