whar part of japan would you go to?

I would go to Okinawa simply because it is a beautiful place, Shibuya and Harajuku for the fashion, to Tokyo for a brief taste of city life, and to Kyoto because I hear that's where the geisha culture is most preserved.

I would love to go to tokyo!!!!(because it's the capital city) Then i'd like to go to kyoto (traditional city) than i'd like to go to hiroshima for the peace park. I'l like to go to harajuku to shop also smile

I pretty much want to go to all of the major cities in Japan, for both modern and historical purposes.

Kobe is an awesome city to live in. It's pretty, close to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara, and is a decent size without being too big. It's not a really exciting city to visit though.

As far as visiting, I love Tokyo and Hiroshima. Hiroshima has really good food and Miyajima Island is really beautiful and fun. I also had a good time in Sapporo when I went.

I haven't been to Kyushu or Okinawa yet, so I really want to go there.

I also really want to go to Naoshima. It's a small island off of Shikoku with a bunch of contemporary art museums. Anyone I know who's been there really liked it.

Not too sure where I'd go. I'd definitely head for where there are hot springs though. I'm in love with the idea of hot springs and I've always wanted to try them. Hmm I wanna try Osaka for its food.

I would love to live anywhere in Japan except Tokyo. In my opinion, it's just too loud. I want somewhere where I can relax, and it's quiet, but not too quiet.
But I would definitely go there for just a trip. 3nodding

I hear Tokyo is like NYC, so maybe I wouldn't notice much about it aside from the fact that they're Japanese. x.x; Though I think usually I probably wouldn't like places that don't have many people there. Maybe in Japan it's different.

My grandfather's father's parent's and grandparent's are from there and my friend lives on base up in Okinawa.
