"Last Whisper! Laaast Whiissper!" he calls, most likely in vein. After all, it had only been by chance that Golden-Spider had met the filly. He refuses to give up, though. She'd wanted his help getting some bones, and besides he still wanted her to meet his friend. So, here he is, poking his head in bushes, caves, and anywhere a bone enthused filly might fit. "LAST WHISPER!" he calls again, bellowing at top volume.

 The little filly had been running around, doing very similar things. She was poking her head into every nook and cranny that she could find, rummaging through old dens, looking. She was looking for remains, of course! So far all she had found were some measly broken fish bones and unknown femurs, and that wouldn't do! Not at all!
Mid-rummage into an old badger's den, the filly hears something a little ways off. There it was again. She quickly backs out of the den and stand very upright with her ears trying to locate the sound. There! And without a second thought, the black filly darts off in the direction of the somehow familiar voice.
She runs over big stones, and through a small stream before she catches sight of something orange and attempts to stop.... only causing herself to tumble head over hoof into a bush.

Hearing a crash behind him, Golden-Spider turns to see a bush shaking. Walking over to it, he calls out. "Hello?" Then continues around to see who it is. Seeing a small form, with familiar colors and markings, the orange buck grins. "It's you! I'd nearly given up on finding you again." while speaking, Golden-Spider wades partway into the bush, shoving aside branches to help Last Whisper out. "Aside from bush diving, how've you been?"

The little filly looked up to find a familiar face looking down at her. He had conveniently parted the bush she had tangled herself in, and so she quickly scurried out between Golden-Spider's legs and ended up behind him again.
"Hey Golden-Spider! I've been good, and I'm glad you found me! I can't wait to go find that skeleton that I told you about! You remember the one I was talking about, right?"

"Err.. sort of.. not really." he says, blushing a bit. To be fair, though, a lot had happened between then and now. "I don't remember specifics, just that you needed help reaching a skeleton you wanted. Just lead the way, and I'll help however I can." Golden-Spider states, happy to be doing something.

Her face dropped, "Oh..." but just for a moment, so the next moment, she put on her smile again and began pacing around the buck, explaining the plan one more time. "Well there's this skeleton that I really really really want, and it's way way WAY up in a tree. And I can't get to it! So i asked you to help and you said you would!" She was so excited that she was visibly shaking, and had almost forgotten that she was going somewhere.
With a start she jumped forward, now heading in the right direction and leading Golden-Spider to the area where the skeleton was.

Golden-Spider nods. "I didn't forget about agreeing to help." He just has time to say that, before the filly has bounded off. With a chuckle, he follows after her.

She nodded as she ran, but in her haste to get where she was going she tumbles once more, falls head over hoof, but rather gracefully completes the circle and stands up once more in one fluid movement, a somersault, if you will.
She throws a look over her shoulder with a sheepish grin on her face as she brings her pace down to merely a walk, as her running was obviously dangerous. "Getting closer!"

Seeing the filly go down, Golden-Spider turns, slowing his pace to keep from trampling her. He's just about to ask why she's playing games, when Last Whisper turns. Her expression tells it all, not a game then but a trip. "Alright." he says, following after her.

After a while of uneventful walking, all of a sudden, the little filly exclaims, "Here we are! We've made it! Now to find the right tree....." She's practically jumping about, true to her goat nature.
The area that they had walked into was a clearing. Well... if one could call it that. In any case, there was a larger area of open space amid a bunch of large mangroves. The ground underfoot was muddy and pretty soft, with patches of grass every so often. The trees here were unusually wide and had roots that looked like they wandered, and stretched out towards the water that could be seen just past the treeline.
The little filly ran from tree to tree, trying to identify the right one, tilting her head back and searching for signs of her desired treasure.

Stepping into the clearing, Golden-Spider follows Last Whisper's example, craning his neck to look in the trees. "What type of skeleton is it, do you know?" he asks, putting his front hoofs on a trunk to get a better look into the branches.

As she wandered, she responded loudly, "I don't know... But... it had really big pointy teeth that go past the jaw... or maybe it was just yawning... But it was almost all there...." A gasp cut off her words as she tried to scramble up a particular tree. "There it is! I see it! It's here, Golden-Spider, it's here!"
The tree that she was standing up against, and trying to jump into for that matter, was a wide one, and it had a relatively low branch that was considerably wide also. It was way up above Last Whisper's head, but should a full grown kimeti stand, it would be able to reach it without too much trouble.
The thing was, that the skeleton (of which only a string of vertebrae could currently be seen hanging over the edge), was another branch up from there.

The orange buck turns, dropping down to the ground, to look at Last Whisper. Without a word he trots over, taking in the tree in question. "Well, easy enough for me to get up here, but that other branch is a bit higher. We'd both need to be on this one, I think.." he trails off, concern showing on his face. "Not the safest, though. A fall could end in broken bones - yours or mine to be specific - or worse." Golden-Spider attempts a stern father look, hoping it will show the filly he is serious.

Her ears ducked down for a moment at the stern tone in his voice, but the little filly looked up at him with red eyes, big and full of hope and desire. Stilling her tail, she silently waited for him to finish talking and took a moment to consider these risks.
She figured that she was alive and her bones could mend, that is if she even fell out of the tree, which she didn't think she could manage either. She replied slowly after some thought, "I think we can do it. If we both get up on that branch... you could boost me up to the second one and I would shimmy along it, on my stomach of course to hug close to the branch and then I could pass the skeleton down to you. Then you could set it down on the low branch, help me down, and then we could both climb back down from the first branch: you first, then the bones, and then me!" She nodded confidently. It all made sense to her, and it didn't sound too difficult. So long as they were careful and moved slowly.

Golden-Spider shakes his head, ready to say no. Far too dangerous for the filly. When he looks into her eyes, instead of saying No, he sighs. He had promised, after all, and Last Whisper did promise to be careful. "Alright, but we must put safety first. If at any point you don't, I'll call it off and down we go, bones or not. Understand?" his town and eyes make plain that the gold buck won't except anything but a heartfelt yes to this.
