male dianic wiccans?

quite a few books I've read say that men can be dianic wiccans, but quite a few dianic wiccans that i have talked to say that you cant. your thoughts?

And which books would these be? What justification are they using that entitles them to the term Wiccan?
What makes the group Dianic?

What makes the Dianic's claim their title of Wicca? Are they lineaged Restorationist groups? Are they IRAB Pagans? Are they Dianic Witches, since many Dianic's have dropped the word Wicca from their tradition out of intellectual honesty.

By what authority do they stand? By what authority do the authors you have read stand?
