Hello everyone and welcome to the 40K Funnies thread!

40K Funnies is a comic that chronicles the 40K games that my best friend Justin and I have with our close group of friends. It doesn't aim to tell a developing story but rather just capture favourite/rediculous moments and jokes in each game we have.

The comic is not about proving one army better than the rest because realistically they can all be amazing if done right. What it is out to prove is the enjoyable side of the game that is some times forgotten about. To do this each army represented in the comic is given the personalty/opinions of the gamer amongst our group who plays that army most. That being said, if you stick around to read the comics, you'll find some rather unique characters compared to what you might expect from printed Warhammer 40,000 fluff.

Two of these unique characters are Farseer Bill and Warlock Ted who hail from my own Ulthwe Eldar Craftworld. They are the unofficial hosts of the comic because while they aren't in every comic, in proper Ulthwe fashion they will show up at any time to comment or interfere as they see fit.

With the above said, hopefully you will have a decent understanding of what to expect and can enjoy the Funnies!

Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in 40K Funnies are those of our own and in no way represent the opinions of Games Workshop.

Things To Note:

I make these comics for fun in my spare time, while I would love to keep up a weekly schedule, changes in real life take priority and so I am only able to offer a comic when time permits.

and YES, you are welcome to post in this thread and leaves your comments. Good or bad, I do love to get feedback, believe it or not it really does help me to improve future works!

Note: If you leave bad feed back, it's only helpful if you give constructive suggestions on how to improve. Just saying you don't like it or some such thing is unproductive and is quite frankly a waste of both our time unless of course your goal is simply to fill a gap in your boredom. In which case, I suggest the chatterbox where your boredom can be met by the collective boredom of all other Gaians.

And here is the first comic!

Terribly old I must confess, I made this a few years ago and then abandoned the project when I went to University. With school done, I decided to dust it off and get things rolling.

This comic is... close to 5 years old and was done with a much older version of photoshop and a track ball mouse. For the time, I thought it was great but some day I may turn around and update it. Increase the DPi, the drawing style and the colouring... or I might let it remain this way for nostalgia. *shrugs* We'll see.

Oh yes and in the last panel are Farseer Bill and Warlock Ted, the unofficial hosts of the comic series.

This one was made in the same time frame as the first, so again it's a tad out dated but I love it all the same.

No real explanation is needed here but for the sake of introductions, here is Avy the Avatar and his pal George the UltraMarine.

Remember back in the day when Red Vs Blue was new and really popular? Well we may or may not have been a little nuts about it...

So here are the Blood Angel Space Marines and Sister Kristen paying tribute to RvB.

Sister Kristen doesn't get mad, she gets even.

Oh the youthful Tau, so full of energy and ready to spread their own beliefs on to everyone else. It's a darn shame they are totally ignorant of the universe around them and too arrogant to ask their allies if they know any better!

A couple of weeks ago Justin (The Imperial Guard) and myself (Ulthwe Eldar) had an 8,000 point, no organization chart game for the fun of seeing what would happen. Well as it turns out with the new Imperial Guard Codex stretched to that army size... even on an 8foot by 4 foot table, quadrants make things very messy... for Eldar.

GW may have been on to something with the apocalypse set-up... darn shame we didn't go for that.
