Okay, I was wondering this one day. Why is it that some Transformers have door wings: ex.
and some don't: ex.
I have always wondered that. Did anyone of you wonder why that some had door wings and some didn't. Last time I check they were both cars (most of the TFs) but only a few had door wings, and a few didn't. What Do You Think?

They don't want every transformer to look the same.
Hell, Prowl himself had... 3? 4 repaints? And that was just in G1. I like some variety in my robots unless they're specifically designed to have no personality or individuality.
In that case, go soulless robot army. Go and crush them. All of them. Bwah-ha-ha-ha.

Some human beings have outie belly buttons, and some don't. Same difference.

I agree. It just adds to their individual personalities and quirks. Personally, and honestly, i don't think i would like Transformers as much if they all looked and acted the same way.

It's just a style choice by the designers. Didn't really think too much into it.

Yeah, I guess all of you are right. It is just how they look, but me personally I have always WONDER deep down inside WHY?! (i guess i just think about transformers 2 much sweatdrop -_-) but i guess it is for the TF to know why...and for us to poke their door wings *pokes Prowl's door wings* Prowl: Stop it... mrgreen

Everyone makes up a bunch of theories for fannon and stuff, but once you get down to it, it's mainly two things-- if all the car-type toys looked the same, that'd be pretty boring, and, door wings are kind of an awesome thing to do with kibble. And there will always be kibble.
