The large man knelt down beside her and took the gauze gently. He ripped off a small piece and, with surprising tenderness, wiped away a good deal of the blood. Looking at the actual wound, he frowned. "How did this happen?" He asked.

"It was an accident..." Tigris said, not wanting to admit that she gotten that in an attack by a wild beast.

Sanguinius wasn't quite satisfied by that answer, but did not see it his place to delve further, so he simply began carefully wrapping the gauze around the injuring, making sure it was the proper tightness. "So... what happened here?" He asked, making a short gesture around before returning to the bandaging.

There was a slight rush of air in a different part of the ruined city, high on one of the abandoned buildings, as Leonard burst into existance, standing on the edge, looking down. he could see that the entire city was empty now, and most of the buildings still stood, unscathed. glancing about, he couldnt help but wonder what could cause such... death, without leaving any collateral damage. from what he could see, most of the ruined structures were from disrepair, as he looked at the building he was on. turning, he stopped cold as he saw piles of dead, right in the middle of the rooftop, huddled together, and a few on the edges, women, children, and full grown men, all huddled in terror.

"I don't know," Tigris said honestly. She had no clue what could have happened.

Sanguinius blinked. That seemed like good news, actually. HE finished up the wrapping and tied it so it wouldn't fall of or loosen. "There you are," He told her, "So, are these just isolated ruins?"

"Thank you," Tigris said and struggled to her feet, "I guess it is, but it's still a little eerie."

Leonard turned, looking around, and could see... people? stepping from the rooftop, he teleported right to the pair, the rush of air enough to ruffle some clothes, as he stepped forwards, into existence near the pair, in time to hear the question about the ruins, and stepped up. "Actually, i havent seen to much as a bird in the surrounding areas." Leonard said, nonchalantly, as though he had been there the entire time, while still ready to dodge if needed.

In the moment that the newcomer appeared, Sanguinius was on his feat, reaching for the weapon resting on his back. When the man in front of him simply spoke, he relaxed. "Ah," He replied, "And who... and what... might you be?" He had to remind himself of how the girl, Tigris had questioned him. Possibly a custom to ask one's race, but it certainly didn't hurt to know if it wasn't.

"I, am Leonard, and I am one of a kind, and lets leave it at that for now." Leonard said, materializing a sword in his hand, ready to fight if need be. "And if i were to want to figure out what happened, id look for the most well protected place in this city, and start there, wouldnt you? after all, its the most likely place for evidence to be preserved." Leonard said, gesturing towards the city center, a massive, towering palace, higher than wide, right in the heart of the city.

Tigris had also prepared for a battle, but relaxed slightly when they didn't instantly start fighting. She watched warily.

Sanguinius shrugged, which barely showed through his armor. "Perhaps, though I am not much interested in the past, if there be a future to retain elsewhere," He replied. It did not do well to linger in the past.

Leonard scowled. the fool. that sort of attitude could get a person killed. "Wether you are interested or not, it may mean your lives should the thing that brought this city to its end remain." Leonard said, looking up in time to see a brillant streak of light soar through the sky, heading in the direction of the Angeko Ruins, before a bright flash hit there, before dimming again. curious, Leonard couldnt help himself. he prepared to teleport, glanced at the pair, and then disappeared, thinking about coming back if he didnt have anything better to do.
