Rei slowly hugged her back. She still felt disinterested but was starting to believe that she was better just from acting like it, which worried her even more.

Tabris broke from the hug and splashed her again before swimming away to avoid retaliation.

Rei smiled and, rather than splashing Tabris, she splashed Kai gently, trying to distract him from her problems.

Kai smiled a little but didn't seem convinced that she was alright. Not completely anyway. He splashed her back and like Tabris he started swimming.

Rei started swimming after Kai and splashed him again.
Rajei saw this and splashed Kai from the other side.

Kai yelled out in playful surprise when he was attacked from the two of them. Tabris swam up and did the same. Kai splashed about at random.

Rajei giggled and splashed again.
Rei splashed him again as well. Though she seemed to be enjoying herself she still felt like there was something empty inside her.

Tabris swam over and glomped Rei again, "Kyuu!"

Rei smiled a little to Tabris. She splashed at Kai again.
Rajei splashed at Tabris.

Tabris laughed playfully.
Kai splashed Rei again.

Rei splashed Kai another time.
Rajei laughed and splashed Kai too.

Kai made a surprised sound and started splashing everywhere.

Rajei tilted her head to the side, finding Kai's behaviour strange. She splashed at Kai again.

Kai laughed and splashed around madly.

Rajei tried to avoid his splashes and splashed at him again.
