The large city has been bickered over for the coal and minerals that are mined on the eastern side of the city. This portion of Kousa is home to industrial area’s many factories and to the toxic vapors that volcanoes and fissures spew from the earth. Breakthroughs in air purification make life for those middle and lower class families who work and live on that side of Kousa much a lot safer than before. The street lights on the main roads and residential areas are home to very advanced filtering devices. They keep the air pure from ground level up to four stories high in the more habitable areas as a resullt, very few buildings reach four stories and fewer still, surpass that.
A bullet train and several freight trains connect this area to the rest of the world.
