St. Gould's (Abandoned town)

The man grinned as a panel, hidden in ice and snow of the floor, shot up, to cut the cards off.

Ciara leapt backwards just in time to keep her cards safe. She felt for her dagger at her waist and drew it, though she knew it wouldn't do much against this guy. And especially since she couldn't use her cards because of the man, she was at a real disadvantage.

The man, then felt his power fall into place. holding his hand at her, a spirit appeared, in a fashion identical to her summon, the spirits arms blades.

Ciara gasped in surprise when she saw the spirit. "How...how did you do that?" she asked incredulously.  

[pyroknight1]

"I can do far more than that." The man said, right before taking a deep breath, and exhaling a fog, even as the spirit withdrew, to whence it came. the fog quickly filled the church, and the man jumped up, spreading black wings, his panels following, leaving the church, before taking another deep breath...

Aleksi ran up to Ciara, not having had a chance to do much. He grinned, he heard the man's breath. Aleksi shot a weighted chain at the creature, pinpointing at him through the fog from the noise he had made. "Your not getting away that easily!" He said followed by a maniacal laugh.

the man suddenly wasnt where he had been. reappearing, he was standing on the roof, folding his wings, before exhaling, breathing fire into the highly flammable fog that now filled the church... then he disappeared.

"We need to go!" Ciara screamed, finding Aleski before the fog caught fire. "Hurry! This way!" She had found an unblocked window and tried to pull him over to it.

Aleksi withdrew his arm, the fire was following . His grin turned into a look of shock. "No time!" he said quickly. He pushed Ciara onto the ground as gently as he could, then covered her with his body. The flames crashed into him, heating his metal skin, but causing no damage.

Ciara screamed a little as Aleski pushed her to the ground. She forced herself to hold her breath for a moment, so she wouldn't use up her oxygen.

The flammable fog burned itself out, and the church had been torched. Various objects were caught on fire from the attack. Including Aleksi's tunic. He jumped up and patted out the fire quickly. His skin glowed red from the heat. "Ciara are you alright?!" He asked quickly looking down at her.

Ciara stood and nodded. She was fine, and all of her cards were safe. "Let's get out of here," she said.  

[Ean_arico]

Aleksi nodded, and looked to the front door. It had been blown off its hinges by the explosion. "Over here." He said. He began to walk towards the hole in the wall. "What was that thing?" he asked.

Ciara quickly followed Aleski over to the exit. "Heck if I know," she said. "Something not good, for sure. I think we should get out of this town, though. Nothing's here but trouble."

"But my family!" Aleksi said quickly. He turned from looking at Ciara to the town, and realized it was empty. He stared blankly up and down the street. "W-where is everyone?" He said quietly and slowly in disbelief.
