St. Gould's (Abandoned town)

A winged, feral looking man suddenly shot out of the shadows at Ciara, his blond hair blood stained, and burned, as were his clothes. on one hand he had a strange metal claw, which he lashed out at her with, with no warning, or provocation.

Ciara fell backwards, her arms moving to cover her head and neck. "Aleski!" she screamed. Her magic released the card, and a wolf appeared in front of her, protecting her.

The madman's claw connected with the wolf, and red energy suddenly sparked from the claw, the wolf giving a whine. the claw had connected with the face, and the red energy coursed through it, making the skull bubble up and expand, the bones themselves breaking into pieces, and the the effect spread thro0ugh the wolf till it exploded, pieces of it going everywhere. the man was now standing right above Ciara, his wings spread, more metal panels hovering around in a pattern behind him. "You... what are you..." His voice sounded raw, and slightly mad.

Aleksi got to the door in time to hear it lock. He dismounted and heard the ensuing combat. "Ciara!" He yelled. He tugged onthe door, but it would not budge. Aleksi looked around frantically. His eyes found up, where a window was positioned next to a gargoyle statue. He transformed one of his arms into a sickle attached to a chain, and launched it upwards, hooking onto the gargoyle. He began to scale the wall, retracting the chain as he advanced.

Ciara bit her lip to keep from screaming as the wolf was destroyed. She moved away from the man. "I'm...I'm a witch," she said quietly. "I can summon..." She heard Aleski outside and hoped he would get there faster.

The man reached for her hand, a grin on his face. "are you? what brought you to this pit?

Ciara shrank away from the man, afraid. She didn't answer him. It was better that he not know about Aleski until he came himself.

Aleksi reached the ledge in front of the window. He panted heavily, from the exertion. He returned his arm to normal, and peered through the window. The man was upon Ciara! With little thought, he turned one arm into a weighted chain and propelled it through the glass around a rafter. He swung into the church, and lowered himself quickly, before reverting his arm to normal. He landed with unexpected grace, only having to kneel on one leg on account of the impact.

"Aleski!" Ciara screamed again, a moment later.

The man reached again, trying to graze her wrist, or shoulder. if he got a touch, he would try and lift her up, seemingly unaware of the male.,

Ciara felt the man grab onto her shoulder. She screamed and struggled against him, trying to free herself. She was afraid of him, and didn't know what he was going to do.

The man reached for her cards, a disturbing grin on his face. his panels began to angle themselves to aim at the boy in the rafters.

Ciara seemed to sense him reaching for the cards and lashed out at him. "Don't you dare!" she screamed. "I'd sooner die than see the likes of you with my cards!"

The man scowled, then tried throwing the girl, down, into the ground.

Ciara cried out as her back hit the ground, but was back on her feet in a second. It was easier to fight when she had something to fight for. Now she had to protect her cards, and she would do anything.
