Love is two ways

I know this poem may be sappy for a guy but it is what was on my mind today. It's in the arena if any want to rate it.

Love is two ways,
Sometimes it pays
And sometimes it haunts your days.
It can be as sweet as a rose
And flow all the way down to your toes,
Or sometimes it can p***k like a thorn
And leave you to mourn.
Love is two ways,
Some see it and get lost in their gaze
And others hope to repay,
The hate and the anger they feel
And are forced, by the it's weight, to kneel.
But is always there around us,
So try not to make such a fuss
And accept it was it is
And try to feel it warm fizz
That it makes in all,
Like that first day of Fall.
Love is two ways,
Sometimes it pays
And sometimes it haunts your day.
