Anyone looking for change in Gaia?

So pretty much I am on gaia at most 30 minutes a day.That is to feed fish, get free things, and then check out my guilds.I do not even attempt the normal forums because its the same thing, nothing entertaining, nothing stimulating, and too much drama for my taste over stuff that is just ridiculously unimportant.Now I notice cybering is out of control!I never have seen so many offers and I have been in gaia since pretty much the beginning.I go into fishing and there is an offer, I go into cards another offer, towns is just practically an orgy and the forums are just pitiful!Anyone else slowly feeling less and less interested in the direction gaia is going or lack of direction?

The forums I stick to seem to be fairly cyber free, or at least no one's offering me any. Not sure if I should be insulted or what.. hrm.

Anyway! For me, the biggest thing Gaia needs right now is better moderation and more moderators. I still kick around A/M/C and wow.. that place needs an enema like crazy.

Towns needs an over haul though, that's for sure. They haven't done much with it since.. the chess boards..? They're dumping all their time into the zOMG, which is fun, but it makes Towns feel like the neglected child of the site.

Blech. I didn't really notice (since I'm pretty much just in the guils and aquarium threads) until yesterday in that goofy Skittles world. What's wrong with people these days?! I'm going to start walking around with a baseball bat....

And I miss hunting for bugs and garbage in the towns... what's taking them so long?!

I stay out of most of the forums, and since the bugs went exctinct towns has become a pointless feature(though I still use my house on Filia's account) but the Game Room here in the GGG is really taking off you should spend some time there I'm sure the Rabbit Doubters would welcome you (trust me they want new blood I'm going to run out of rabbits soon) and those are some of the most active threads in the Guild.

I loved the feedback I got for posting a shout out to the people affected by the wildfires in Austraila.

One person actually stated that Austraila could "go ******** themselves, because where were they when California was burning"

It baffles me that people just plain don't know how to put things aside and treat other humans like humans.

Omg, someone actually had the nerve to say that about one of our closest allies? Austrailia has done tons for us, but... anyways, I don't venture into forums except to bumps my threads or friends' threads. I got over the way people talked to me just for an opinion in the A/m/c, so I stopped going there at all. I wish that Gaia would increase the gold for posts and daily chances across the board. And, for those who collect them, bring back the bugs and trash.

Does anyone really get anything good from the daily chances in here? I get tons of tokens and flowers and bugs that I don't use at all! On occassion, like once in a month or so, I get something I like: hermit kitty or stuff for my tank. Blah, now I'm rambling, lol...

Back to the original post, I agree that there is a lot of cybering around, granted I'm guilty of posting innuendo though I try to contain it to a few areas and to only certain people as not to offend others.

I gotta completely agree with ya, Charmath.... and what IS with the A-freaking goofy skittles world???? Sheesh, you would think they could have come up with SOMETHING better than that! rolleyes And it's ragging me out to the MAX that I can't seem to change my Avi's clothes! I get the shirts / tops OK, BUT NOTHING ELSE LOADS UP! I can't change bottoms or items AT ALL. I would LIKE to go back to my"Maximum Ride" look for a bit. I think the webmasters / moderators on Gaia better QUIT THINKING ABOUT THEMSELVES and start fixing problems! Gaia is getting glitchy as all hell! wahmbulance

I usually only stick to threads that my friends are in and this guild. I hardly post anywhere else because it's kind of weird. I post in Lifestyle discussion from time to time though.

When I play Cards, Slots, or Fishing, I usually make my room password protected and play alone. Yeah, it's more boring, but at least I don't have to worry about any of that stuff. And if it gets out of control, you can report it to a mod. =/

I wish they could do more with Towns though. I only go there for trick or treating or if something else is going on. =//

Same story here. I stick with a couple of booty grab threads, this guild, feed my fish and dress my avi. The cybering is just annoying, and even the menopause line in my siggy doesn't stop it. I do wonder what has happened to the moderators, are there just too few now, or do they turn a blind eye?

I think towns has gone the same way as houses though. Gaia has moved on to "other things". After all, when was the last time there was any new furniture?

Anyway, thank God for Geezers!

Cybering is an issue. I don't meet it or get offers with this avi but with my main account... Giizus. Veddha just gets 'you're damn ugly!' or 'Hey, Silent Bob! <3' commenting.

One of my best moments in Gaia is related to cybering. xd

At that time Schutzhund was wearing some sharp suit and looking quite bad a**. I got a profile comment from someone who sounded bit Renaissance themed, nickname was something fancy too. Obviously a girl behind male avi (as am I). It was sophisticated, fancy "invitation" to a dance and whatnot. I replied to that with slight deny and linguistically similarly. Sounded very much like Phantom of the Opera kind of luring with all the 'I'll take you to dance and teach you something you never knew you wished to know so badly...". Included EVERY aspect of yaoi high class themed rp porn, mysterious man seducing the blond innocent etc. We bounced few comments, I trying to make him/her say something to be justified to verbally slap him around the ears.

Then he made hinting clear enough where I answered (with the help of my friend who's going to be English teacher) the most eloquently: I'm not interested in your below the waste desires and frankly, any of your sweet talk hasn't impressed me to a least bit.
Not a peep from that person again, he removed all the comments and I had most epic pwned-moment of my life. mrgreen

That was long babble, messy too it seems. It's a pity I didn't get the dialog safe...

When did bugs go extinct? I caught a butterfly and some other insect in towns just the other night.
