This contest is Open to Everyone!
By entering this contest, you are contending for one of the two remaining Mooncicle babies! [Mother: Moonbane (Oh Mellon Collie) Father: Icicle (Kiwi Squirt Bottle)] In order to enter, you must submit a standard Haiku in (5,7,5) format. If your Haiku is not standard format it may not be considered, but if you're off by one or two syllables, I'll let ya slide. Because there are two boys to give away, this contest will have two winners! Here's the rules...
• Each participant may enter up to two Haiku, one for each baby, or two for one baby. • When submitting a Haiku, specify in your post which baby you are entering for. The baby on top will be called Boy 1, and the baby on the bottom will be referred to as Boy 2. • If you enter two Haiku, please keep them in ONE post. You may edit your post later on to add a second Haiku. • You may not use Mules, Alts, Friends, Etc. to gain more entries.
Your Haiku must have something to do with the chosen Kimeti's naming dream. Here's an example of an appropriate naming-dream based Haiku using Sleep-Bringing Flower's naming dream as a source.
The foal found solace, lost amongst the flower heads. Her eyes grew heavy.
This contest ends Friday, March 20th! Happy Haiku-ing!

Boy 2 The verse was broken, virtue lost in shattered note, never to return.
Boy 1 Jolted flight aloft where impure crystals shiver and restrict movement.

Listen to the song, voices of the swamp blending into harmony.
Boy 2
They flutter above. Below he moves, hooves shuffling, their glow lights his steps.

Both Entries are for Boy 1:
Chilled to the bone, trembling spirit comes alive. Warmth is from within.
Delicate crystal melts beneath the living breath as Spring is reborn

Boy 1 Alone in the cold, the dark desolate silence surrounded and struck.
Boy 2 The light pierced the night, striking deep into its heart. But to no avail.
