	Geez, well I don't want this Brass forum to die so here goes a decent thread... From which pieces have you played or heard that have awesome brass parts. Hands down on Mahler symphonies for me. (Symphony No. 5 in particular)

	I've been listening to a ton of music and to my opinion, the brass parts sounded pretty nice.

	Brass makes a decent material for instruments, thats all brass is good for I guess.........

Hands down on Mahler symphonies for me. (Symphony No. 5 in particular) My symphony just recently played Mahler 5. whee SO AWESOME. Richard Strauss has some nice brass moments. Also the last movement of Hindemith's Mathis der Maler is great.
