Jekirato cursed his luck mentally but he was unafraid of his opponent. His hands grasped the massive canon strapped to his chest and plucked it off reading it for the combat to come. It would entertain him to watch this bug of a person get near him. Then again humans where all bugs in comparison. His eyes stared like the cold yellow stare of eyes in a persons nightmares. His teeth and jaws would show nothing then his jaws opened making strange noises. He spoke in the Skaarj dialect. He took no stance. He did not need on. All the combatants of Unreal Tournament needed no stance. Their bodies where so adept that stances where pointless. They where muscular enough to open armed withstand the recoil of even a flak canon without the support of the body. Jekirato was one of the biggest Skaarj Hybrids ever recorded.

Soren understood that most of his opponent's weapons had a good range.
And if he assumed correctly, his swords were not long enough to cover said range.

"Trust the light, bury the hate, burn your sight at heaven's gate," he spoke, calling small wisps of light around the arena.
"This graceful song of sorrow dear holds the end with light that SEARS."

As he finished the last part, the tendrils came together like a burning white whip and lashed at the Skaarj.
It wasn't a very strong spell, but the heat was intense. To most beings Soren had met, anyways.

OOC: Too much would be a massive spell cast in one turn..
BIC:
Jekirato watched the man as he spoke words. The whips began to pop up around the arena. They formed into tendrils, adjoining into a massive whip like form and came at him. Jekirato ran forward toward the opponent ignoring the whip dropping low in a roll so it would fly over his head. He jumped upward in mid roll so he could turn around. A pressured popping sound was heard as a massive shell fell from the Flak Canon. The shell exploded upon contact with the magical attack used against him. The blast was loud alike to an artillery shell echoing through the arena and the blast was felt for a good 20 meters. The heat rippling off the green skin cascading the skin into a feeling of familiarity. He landed and quickly turned to face the opponent raising gun into sights as the gun pumped a second shell into place, making a whiring noise as it did so.

It couldn't fire it yet but almost all the weapons had two forms of fire. What just occurred was the Flak Canons secondary fire. It launches a Flak shell which is like a massive flak grenade. The Flak itself was seen bobbing around explosion sight burning hot little marks into the arena's flooring but after a few seconds would cool and disappear. Those cold yellow orbs still staring at the man now much closer to him. There was no emotion. The beast was sure his opponent realized that parlor level spells where a pointless weapon against one such as himself. To accentuate the point he roared like a demonic creature. As the blood reached his eyes they began to glow red instead of yellow.

Soren's head tilted with a frown at the noise, but, in good sport he raised his swords anyways.

"I suppose that most of your shiny toys amount to something, even remotely, similar?"

He put his right leg slightly forward and dropped one sword to about waist level, keeping the point towards Jekirato.

//Mmkay, I'll bear it in mind.//

Jekirato was now done with the pleasantries. This match he was going to show he did not stop until his opponent was destroyed. With that He pulled the trigger for the primary fire. the flak came out but not as a solid shell. The fragments splintered off alike to a shotgun only covered a much more vast area. At this range it could easily hit his opponent in at least 20 spots. He charged letting the weapon fall where it hooked onto him yet again like a cloth on a barbarian the weapons where alike to his clothes. The massive beast charged without but a sound. Even for his size he ran quietly. This would likely strike as odd. It was because of the nature of skaarj. They where a race that lived in jungles and where naturally one of the quietest races in existence. This did not change to the hybrids only increase. The two foot long twin claws on his right and left hand came forward.

Whatever was done to avoid the flak or attempt to halt it meant nothing every attack had a complete intent to kill. The skaarj once close enough he swung his massive right arm in a quick scratch. The arms where proportioned to his body. Longer than the legs of his opponent. This gave him an incredible long range for melee. The swing of the arm was full force. If a massive piece of metal was in the way it would have been smashed and sent flying. Since the target was a human the claws would slice through it in an instant. If he dodged or blocked he would be thrown like a rag doll. If he dodges a left hand swipe would follow immediately. As the left sweep would be made the right would be readied and the process would continue. Jekirato was relentless. A whole different beast now that combat was at his door.

Soren's sudden malice-full grin danced in spite of two small pieces of flak hitting his leg.
He ran forward after being knocked back by a large hand and spun around, crouching under the giant's strike before slashing upward with both blades.

Jekirato's movements where rather fast for his size. He noted his opponents disappearing trick. It was rather simple actually. For his size there was only one place to have gone. He would miss the right arm as it was already moving too fast as to avoid the slash. Even if a small cut did appear on the side of his arm. He didn't seem to recognize it as his right arm continued the Skaarj Hybrid would step forward half way with his right leg and Lift his left on a massive powerful kick. It was angled to his the man who was currently crouching in the chest. The movement was just following the slash so blocking was not an option. However dodging from a crouched position would be difficult. The kick is far more powerful than the arm which had sent a massive breeze of air above the warrior.

Jekirato in truth his eyes where red from him releasing a bloodlust within his body. This meant his reaction to small pains was non existent. He had been shot hundreds of times by large powerful guns. A scratch wasn't even an inconvenience. It was a tingle that brought life to him. Small pains would feed the monster. It would be obvious to anyone in the audience that in a match what mattered was speed and power. Other things would factor the initial elements of a fight. Jekirato could easily reach the puny human. His hand was large enough to hold him by the chest and go half way around. Size mattered in close range fights. Poor Soren ultimately needed a spear to reach Jekirato from a melee standpoint. Especially since the arms where extended two feet by razor sharp claws that treated heavy plated armor like paper.

OOC: Note getting hit would indefinitely knock the wind out of your character. Plus getting thrown back if he was hit by Jekirato's hand would have been like getting hit by a soft version of a car at 30-40 miles per hour. It would throw him at least five feet. With the effect of the two if you got hit you would need to recover. It's difficult to move with no air in your lungs and with the mental shock of being thrown it makes everything fuzzy. Not to mention he has two pieces of super heated flak burning inside of his leg... That alone is a major problem and the pain caused from those is... well lets just say most people have issues concentrating on anything else. You're guy has seen combat and probably experienced pain so he could but it's not something easily run on. He's already reduced to limping. Just thought I would throw that out there.

//OOOHHHH >.< I've only ever fought people on melee terms xD I personally know nothing of guns...so this is entirely new information to me O.o I'll try to remember my limits lol.....//

Soren's felt his ribs crack as the powerful kick landed. As he crashed across the field, his view went hazy. Very hazy. He hadn't paid attention to his leg until he was down. Whatever he'd been hit with was burning....
He blinked several times, trying to sort up from down.

"Grr....that's......way.....outta line...." he sneered between excruciating breaths.

//I think this is more the condition he'd be in?//

OOC: well you would know better I'm just putting input on what it felt like when I got shot. not a fun experience.
BIC:

Jekirato Felt his foot connect. He went again for the flak canon reeling it about as his leg whirled around and landed. He was already aiming and the sound of pressure popping a release was heard again. The shell would take a short second to fly but if his opponent where to jump the explosion wouldn't kill him but throw him. From his opponents point of view a round yellowish orb with a red hint moved almost too fast to see but it came down intended to land on him. It would if landing on him make whatever is left a small stain around a black burn that made a small shatter on the stadium. The rock underneath is incredibly strong and resistant to damage. Jekirato was ruthless like his race was known for. A nice guy but in combat one mistake meant death or injury. He had hesitated before he fired so his opponent could run and hopefully escape death. He wanted his opponent to understand that a fight here was not some playground. This was a message to everyone not just the current opponent. He knew some already knew this. Jekirato however was not the type to respect learning an opponent in combat. It was kill or be killed. He only hesitated to send the message to all those watching. He knew they where all likely awestruck at the ferocity and mentally devising strategies to combat him. This excited him and the massive loud noise of the artillery shell caused his ears to ring a second time as the inertia clapped his body making him feel at home. His eyes watched for the result as for at least a moment he would not be able to hear. Although his ears where used to something of this magnitude. His opponent was probably not.

Soren stared at the ball a brief moment before rolling far to the side and pushing himself back up.
He got it, quit screwing around, Jekirato really wanted a fight.
Soren liked having a little more fun, but, hey, a guy wants a fight, you give him a fight.

He stared at Jekirato, willing the pain away.
An ugly look smeared on his face, he began drawing in magical energy, in small amounts so as to avoid suspicion.

His breathing became labored, but he stood and faced this monstrous foe.

"I was hoping for some fun but those weapons he uses don't really allow for it, nor does his demeanor. Plus he's fast....there has to be a way to counter it, or find a weakness."

User Image Jekirato had no sense of magic. He had fought it several times and new it smelled funny but aside form this there was nothing. He looked at the battered human curiously. Blood was coming from the flak infested leg. His body was battered clothes torn and armor damaged or dented. Jekirato for entertainment purposes and for the mere fact the human looked sorry he took off the strange devise, the flak canon, the stinger, the crossbow and the odd pistol and tossed them out of the arena. His eyes glowered again like a nightmare upon the human. The human would catch a small trail of red light as it hit his eye but only for a fragment of a second. What was that? Any questions would be answered by a loud noise that instead of being explosive seemed like a shocking pulse. A large white ball flew from the shoulder canon at him. Directly at his head. Jekirato's shoulder canon had many different forms of shots. This one would paralyze slowly like a poison. Although the paralyzing was for more painful as it ate at the nerves like an electrical fire inside of the body. It would also leave a large hole or blow off a limb. He drew both handguns and aimed them as well. He wanted to end this quickly and in a less grotesque manner. He watched to see which way his opponent would dodge. The next movement would instantly be met with a small salvo of rounds. His opponent had not yet seen a shot that was invisible to the naked eye so he wondered how he would reacte when a band resulted in a bullet hole.

Soren ran straight under the ball, forcing a nearly invisible wall of ice between him and the giant, the energy around the cannon's shot causing Soren's hair to stand all funny.

The wall became thicker with every footstep, the world becoming a fountain of power.
Unfortunately, with every footstep, he was also reminded of the pieces in his leg that were still slowly cooling.

User ImageJekirato watched this wall of ice begin to close. The sound of the canon suddenly burst several times. Instead this blast was a pulse of red. With each hit a hot blast would be released followed by an explosion. Jekirato was no fool. This tactic was odd though. He was quick enough to easily step back and avoid even the shock wave of the explosive pulse.

He was glad his opponent took the offensive but he pulled a small pill looking tube off of a sleeve on his belt. He would see how far his opponent planned to attack and if his blasts destroyed the wall or his opponent let his guard down. This vial was an in case he didn't on any of those. Both of his pistols where returned to their clasps and the Skaarj now devoid of all the weight visibly moved like a serious martial artist and someone who had complete control of his body.

Soren left the wall to burn, instead trying something new.
Ice and frost slowly crept along his body, transforming him into a being of cold and life.
Within the ice was magical energy.
As he stood and the wall crumbled, his eyes held a ferocity uncommon for him.

Before Jekirato stood a new warrior, Soren's body now empowered by the magic in the ice.
He took a sparring stance, the world seeming to move in slow motion.

Jekirato would glare at his opponent. He hadn't learned yet and as a result it would be his undoing. His canon changed firing type again. A little round piece at the end would be seen rotating to change it. It only took a second. This shot was his deadliest one but regardless he decided this fight was over. He crossed his massive arms and watched his opponent for a moment.

If anything it should have registered to his opponent but the instant his opponent would begin to move the pulse would fire at his direct center. The shot was too fast for visibility. It would fire during his opponents mid step. In mid step is that hardest point to react to anything regardless of most factors. The shot was a mass of pressurized plasmatic black hole energy. The greatest weapon the warp canons where massive but Jekirato experimented with them. He modified them for his mounted canon. Instead of a slow traveling black shell. The shot became invisible as a mass of force. It was also much smaller but a near instant kill. Upon impact a massive force would shake the entire arena. With that the black hole was reversed. Instead of sucking in everything within a range whatever it hit would be sent on all directions. The plasmatic element burned it to the center point of a target where the blast would be released. It didn't matter who it was everyone in the arena would be knocked flat by the blast. Including Jekirato. However the target hit would be sent flying in all directions with a force that could send it for miles.
