Yorston Falls

"...I like exploring," Len said. She didn't mind the cave wandering or whatever it was Leonard was suggesting.

"Then i will follow where you go." Leonard said, meaning to follow her till she either outlived him, or she sent him away. "i think it best if you lead, so you will have no regrets in where you travel, and where you dont." Leonard said, not wanting to lead her somewhere she didnt feel comfortable being, or safe being.

But she didn't even know where to go. Len looked a bit insecure.

Leonard could tell Len was uncomfortable with the idea, and took her hand, squeezing her hand gently. "Hey, dont worry. ill be with you every step. If your too uncomfortable with the idea, though, we can stay here for a while, and ill take the lead when you are ready to go." Leonard said, comfortingly.

Len nodded slightly, "...Thank you..." She said quietly.

Leonard shifted, watching the sun drop below the horizon, and shifted, trying to gently draw her into his lap as he sat there.

Len let herself be pulled into his arms. She gently rested on his chest.

holding Len in his lap, Leonard took a deep breath and gently laid back, pulling her with him, so she would be laying on his chest, as the sky darkened. spreading his wings as he did, he let them lay on either side, while he settled on his back.

Len lightly nuzzled into his chest, making purring sounds like a cat.

LEonard folded his wings over, around them like a blanket, which the feathers did a good job of immitating, as he lay with her, holding her in his arms as he listened to her purr. he wasnt sure what would happen in the future, but he had a feeling it wouldnt be bad if it was with her.

Len kept purring in his arms. She gently nudged her head against his like she was a cat.

On instinct, Leonard started stroking Len's hair, gently, down her back, as they lay there, smiling for once, and actually seeming to mean the smile.

Len was soon very comfortable and as such started to fall asleep.

Holding her there, Leonard finally dozed off with her in his arms, his wings wrapped around them... (I have an idea for something to happen to them, though itll result in Len seeing Leonard's dark side a bit, when he kills to protect her.

Len purred quietly as she slept, unconsciously eating Leonard's nightmares as she did.
