As Dreamis let out her breathe a cold chill decsended onto the town. Cyr shivered vigorously at the feeling. He knew that the curse was going to take over the land but he had to find out a way to stop it before everything was engulfed by the darkness. He sprinted to Annamay's house.

Raven had watched the land decay as her one time friend's control had gotten stronger. People no longer opposed the vampire's leadership and now she was one of the few left that dared challenge Dreamis. She waited until the sun was high in the sky before sneaking into Dreamis's 'home' and finding her resting place for the day.

A demon came out of nowhere and appeared behind Raven. "What are you planning on doing to the mistress?" he asked. He was ready to attack.

The girls were playing hide and seek in the garden while Annamay attended to the plants. She smiled and shook her head, laughing as the two girls ran around. It's good to have these two around to brighten up these dark times.

Enjoy these so called bright times...for they will not last for long my old friend. There was a sinister laughter, but no one was there.

The girls stopped where they were, one having just found the other so a chase had ensued. They looked around, frightened. Annamay's shoulders tensed and she froze her work, ears swiveling around on her head, smelling the air, but she couldn't detect a presence. Her eyes grew sad and she let out a wistful sigh. Dreamis. A single tear rolled down her cheek as she thought of what she had done to one of her dearest friends and what had now become of her decisions. She took a deep breath and looked towards the girls. She smiled softly and reassuringly. "Why don't you two come over here and help me for a bit. These flowers could use your magic touch." The girls nodded and went to Annamay's side, kneeling on the ground and helping her with the garden.

The sky started to get dark and it suddenly got very cold. Snow had started to fall and the trees were freezing. Dreamis was able to wake up. The sunlight had no effect on her while the clouds and the snow were falling.
