I'm a bit confused...But I just want to know

How exactly does a male give HPV to a girl? If he's a virgin is it something he just might possibly have? Does it run in the family? Or does he have to have sex with other women to get it? I'm still confused about it.

There are a lot of different kinds of HPV. Some are nonsexual and not a big deal (like plantar warts). But the other kinds (the ones we usually hear about and worry about) are usually transmitted through sexual contact. That can include vaginal sex, a**l sex, oral sex, or even just rubbing private bits on someone else's private bits. It's pretty contagious and most people don't even realize they have it. Since some types of HPV can cause cervical cancer, it's very important to get pap smears every year.

If two people do not have an STD, then they can't give an STD to each other.
