[ Yup! Should I start that one? ]
There was something about the look in Ainra's eyes that Tiruan liked, though the lion could not say why. Perhaps it was because he had been an only child, and thus had never seen the look of innocence in another cub's eyes. His mother had had the same kind of eyes, both kind and affectionate, though she was more worldly and had lost that innocent look a long time ago. Though the reason was unknown, Tiruan felt rather protective of this young female, something that he wasn't used to feeling around cubs. But Ainra was no cub, and besides, she was different. She was special.
Tiruan listened quietly while she spoke, unable to help but raise his eyebrows when she started to talk about how nice he was. Nice? He hadn't really ever thought of himself as nice before. Ainra's logic was cute though, and the lion found himself smiling when she was finished. Well, if Ainra liked him then there was definitely a possibility other lionesses could like him, right? He couldn't be too bad of a lion.
He blinked at her good bye, so caught up in his thoughts that he hadn't even noticed that she was on her way out. Still, the proper response to her good bye came anyways, though Tiruan couldn't remember how he knew it.
"In a while, crocodile."
