Riko couldn't help but snort when she said the exact same thing he had said, or meant the exact same thing he had meant. It was hypocritical, it was funny- why should she be offended by his comment and not expect to offend him? Well, in fairness he had offended her first and returning the favor was common. He still found it amusing.
"Ah, so it appears we have the same problem," he pointed out, "Sad circumstances." Riko stuck steadfastly to the idea that if she had been pleasant to start then they would be having a much cheerier conversation- even she seemed to admit it, though clearly that was not how she meant it.
"I suppose you will be hard to beat," Riko agreed in a mock glum voice as he turned to go back along his way, "Bye."
