User Image Achana Sonozaki had departed from Hidden Sound to the Village Hidden in the Leaves for a bit of extracurricular activity in scouting out potentially strong opponents to test herself against in a series of sparring matches or maybe a casual conversation. It never hurt to learn more about the world around one's self if they were planning on eventually bringing some form of order to it. The power of information sometimes outweighed that of raw strength. It was one of a few virtues that the shinobi world shared with the criminal underbelly.

The streets of The Village Hidden in the Leaves were about as busy as one might expect from one of the Villages apart of the Great Five. Achana couldn't help but find herself impressed, as it seemed like a perfect avenue for commerce, of course, Mist likely would have been her first choice due to a Village with ocean traffic access would have more connections to a larger and more diverse supply of goods and merchants. It was just the blood thirsty demeanor that ended up being a turn-off more times than not.

Descartes, Kagami
Your Worst Nightmare

The village was quiet, way to quiet for the liking of the restless spirit, Kagami floated out of sight of those within this hidden village. So quant, so helpless, the masses that called this dull place home felt protected by an invisible army of ninja under the watchful eye of some wavering old dolt of a kage. An elected leader by a council, though it did not mean that this 'leader' had what it takes to serve and protect these people. Floating to the top of a building, the silent specter placed her ethereal hand on the tiled roof, causing ghostly violet flames to circle her form as a body slowly rose from it. This body was in the form of a naked teenage girl with slight supple curves, though soon it is wrapped in those same ghostly flames as her Angra Mainyu gear. A tattoo of the group forming on her left shoulder, a light, yet durable armor and plating formed over her torso and shoulders, a pair of gloves and bracers fit snuggle over her thin digits and wrists, and finally a breathing mask creeped across the lower portion of her face. The rest of her body was clad in a simply, elegant, flowing gown. Her feet remaining bare as did her arms and back of her shoulders. A black cloak seemingly wraps itself from around the feminine form hiding all of this from ones sight. Only after the specter entered this hollow body did it's bright, shining, violet eyes come open. Soon after she would gracefully hop from the rooftop, twisting in the air like an acrobat before landing as silently as a feather. No matter how much she used these body, each time made it feel new...a present from her late mentor. One that she used to a violent extent, one would normally find her fawning over it's form and diligently taking care of it like a lover. That is when she was not possessing it for her own evil purposes. Silently, this cloaked shadow snuck through the city wide village. Her small, delicate hands planting explosive tags, out of sight, as her Ultimate Eye scoops out every inch for different escape routes and areas that would be good to rig traps and fight. Kagami knew she was in enemy territory and was bout to stir up a hornet's nest, which honestly sounded fun to her. After a hour or so of 'sight seeing' the spirit reached the village center and holds up her ring hand flashing her Tama ring as she places her index and middle finger together. "Release!" She called out callously and on command the tags began to detonate one at a time leveling whole parts of the city. The bazaar as the first to go, but the apartments had more tags planted within them, and finally the faces of the Hokage detonate sending the ruined sculptures and stone raining down on the hole of the village. In the center of all the panic stood the lavender haired teen, watching the panic and destruction around her with glee. A wide smile hidden behind the mask on her face.

Laharal: Chakratech OrphanUser Image
Laharal had sat himself in the library in the leaf. before him sat an array of books, set over so many different subjects. The deep fantasy and brilliant lore, the mysterious novels, portraying tense drama. The graphic novels diplaying vibrant, enticing, and thrilling art. The drawing, sorrowful, yet hopeful tales from historical manuscripts. The bright futures imagined in sci-fi. And then there were the mundane. There instruction manuels for operating a train or fixing a sink. There were cookbooks and dictionaries There books on drawing and weaving. Further more, there were scientific texts, combat manuels, writings on economic theory. And finally, there were those writings more specific to the shinobi, scrolls containing the basics of chakra, and jutsu, alongside the a list of ninja arts. He would spend hours in this place, reading through each of the books, absorbed in the literature. And indeed he had. A total count of 50 books in a matter of hours. His mind was overflowing with the things he was trying to absorb.

As time had passed, the young genin could only lean back, letting his brain rest for a short while. With a sigh, returning the books to their proper place, the young genin would return all the books to their proper places, before finally stepping out. He left the library, making his way out towards the resident district, pulling the hood of his black jacket over his head. He would glance to a nearby alleyway, preferring to remain of the streets where people walked back and forth. He wanted to avoid the people, the gazes of the the crowds. As he stepped through an alleyway and power walked his way along, glancing between the walls of the buildings. He used these paths, taking a shortcut towards the residential district. As he stepped his way along this unseen route, he would suddenly jolt forward, his foot making contact with a raised piece of the pavement. And so, he tripped, turning as he felt, rather clumsily for a ninja. He landed against the ground with a thump, groaning lightly in pain. He opened his eyes, only to find them staring at an explosive tag, stuck the the base of the building. His eyes grew wide as he suddenly raised himself up in a panic crawling away as he did so,, nearly falling over again in the process. He righted himself, stressed breathes escaping his lips. What was an explosive tag doing in a place like this. Thinking quickly, he pulled out a kunai and cut the tag, slicing it's seal, disabling it before it could be set off, he pulled it from the wall to examine. His eyes then shifted along the building. As they looked carefully, they would spot a number of others. This building had been set to collapse. This wasn't some demolition, as the building was an apartment that was well filled. Laharal's mind began racing. "What do I do... what do I do?" He began whispering to himself. He quickly moved to the nearest tag, cutting it, and began to follow up, slicing the other tags, even as he concocted his next move. He had cut a number of the tags set along this alley, but realized there may not be time. "I... I have to warn someone." He turned and ran, exiting the alley and rushing into the front of the building.

Stepping inside, he rushed straight to the front desk, the kid, looking up to the confused person there with fearful eyes. "You've got to tell the residents, tell them to leave their rooms. They... they've got to get out of here." The man looked at Laharal with annoyed eyes now, the confusion starting to be replaced by distrust. "Now listen here, kid, I'm in no mood for some stupid prank. Now go on, get out of here. stop bothering me." Laharal shook his head quickly. "You have to listen. There are explosive tags set behind the building. Somebody set them, their going to bring the building down." Even as Laharal insisted, the man raised himself up. "Sure, I'll get right on that. You're not fooling anyone." Clenching his fist, Laharal took a deep breathe, remembering something. He lowered his hood, and pulled out his headband, revealing it in one hand. "I am a shinobi of the hidden leaf. I swore to serve the good of the village." In his other hand, he revealed the partially cut tag. "I'm not joking, I'm not going to sit by as innocent people get hurt, and I'm not leaving until you contact the residence, and get them out of here. If I have to I... I'll do it myself." The man glared at the short kid, who hesitated even as he tried to speak boldly. With a groan, the man activated the intercoms that ran through the building. "Attention all residents, we are running an emergency safety drill. Will everyone please exit their rooms and evacuate to the front of the building in an orderly fashion." Laharal sighed in relief, even as he was being stared holes into. In short order after several minutes, the people inhabiting this place would file themselves out, not nearly so panicked as they perhaps should have been. Their faces bore anger and annoyance as they were forced to interrupt their time in their living spaces for this seemingly pointless drill. Soon enough everyone would exit the building, forming a mass outside that would draw the attention of those on the streets. Laharal stepped out alongside the front desk person and the land lord, calling out to those there in his nervous voice. "Everyone, thank you for following the drill, but we cannot return to the building, and we need to get word out as well. There are explosive tags rigged behind the building. There may be an attack of some kind going on. I'm not sure but..." He would raise up the tag to try and show everyone, though his height did him no favors. Despite his warnings, he was met with clear disbelief.

This was all short-lived, however, as then, in the distance, explosions could be heard. Annoyance turned to panic, as smoke rose up from the market district. More explosions followed from there, one by one, slowly drawing closer to their position. His heart felt like it had rose to his throat.
His breathing had stopped as he stood stalk still. Screams of shock and panic began to rise from the people before him, and others further out. Time was quickly running out, and if panic confused "We've got to get moving! Everyone...please try and stay calm, we've got to get out of here, and get to the evacuation zones." He would tell them, turning to lead. "Follow me!" As he did this, the people began to follow, looking for someone to act through the approaching disaster. It wasn't long before the explosions had reached their position, and were erupting against the apartment building. The ones that Laharal had taken the time to disable proved sufficient enough to prevent a total collapse, but heavy damage cover the building, broken walls and windows, shredded metal, splintered wood. The explosions drew panic as more followed, Laharal trying to lead an increasingly less organized group through the metaphorical fire. He knew other ninja would respond to the threat, and had no doubt, if he had found signs of the impending attack, others may have as well. Laharal lead them as quickly as he could alongside others fleeing, towards the gates, hoping to get as many as he could out of harms way. But lives were lost, not only out in the distance but around him. Explosions, and fire, stone and shrapnel would claim some inevitably. But there was no time, and no chance to do much amid this chaos, beyond trying to get those he could to safety. And then, out above them, the very landmark most well known in the village, was, too, compromised. Flashes erupted across it's surface. This was followed by fire and thunderous noise. Then rocks rained down from the sky. So quickly, chaos would envelope them. Their Peace, once held, was shattered.

User Image Achana had been wondering what precisely was going on with the explosions going on throughout the Village Hidden in the Leaves, but couldn't really bring herself to show any outward sign of a desire to lend aid to this place or it's residency. Their problems were their own and she was simply a tourist, visiting from a minor shinobi Village with the intent to scout out strong operatives and maybe learn from them. There was nothing about this tenuous peace that demanded she even lift a finger to assist with any act of terrorism or outright assault. "Ehhh, screw these weaklings... And screw whoever decided to interrupt my good time.", she grumbled to herself as she stalked through the area, looking for the source of the disruption. If she was going to have her relaxation and visitation interrupted, then she might as well have some fun in the process...That was the general plan in her head at least.

As she walked down some alleys nonchalantly, with a tooth-pick hanging from her mouth, Achana was intent on seeing some Leaf ninja operatives in action. As the raven haired girl waltzed with an aura of badassery about her through the various side streets, something caught her eye. A blonde ninja, who had the looks of being green behind the ears was working on evacuation effort. Of course, he seemed to have it under control and so she did nothing to assist him, she just jumped up from the street and scaled a wall were she stood on the building with her chakra control and watched the chaos. Rubble was raining down around them and terrified civilians would be fleeing for their lives. Though she was hoping there would have been more of a Konoha turn out to something like this so she could further investigate them and how they operated. "This makes me wonder what makes the Leaf so great...", the yakuza family's daughter grumbled to herself as she loomed over the scene Laharal was controlling.

Though she had raised an excellent point in that moment among the chaos. If the Leaf was so easily infiltrated by an enemy with chakra tags set up for massive demolition unnoticed as they had been, then it was obviously a part of the problem in this world of chaos and needed to eventually either be destroyed or brought into Achana's view for the future...The new world order were the criminal world would be organized and society would flourish from the protection the Sonozaki family would offer behind the lines of a strong military force protecting them from powers foreign. There was no room for this sort of disorganization and incoordination in her design for the path she wanted to forge for humanity.

There was little time to contemplate that, as when another explosion detonated, it was on the building Achana Sonozaki so happened to be attached to and she was blown from her perch were she sailed through the air and landed gracefully beside Laharal. If she had time to be embarrassed, she might have been, but the obsidian maned girl had little care for the perceptions of a pathetic Konohagakure shinobi. The adolescent kunoichi just gave him a shrug and began to walk off, unless halted, to go find the source of the explosions... though, not to stop them, but just to observe the trouble and learn from it.

Logan Hyuuga, the Blue Byakugan
((Appearance: He is 5"4 feet tall. He has very large blue Byakugan eyes which appear to lack pupils. He wears a cloak, pants, gauntlets, a shirt, four scarfs, and a mask. They are all black and made of special materials. These clothes make it so only his eyes can be seen.)) User Image
Upon the walls of the village sat a figure with black, one that had watched the village for such a long time. The village was at peace, for now. It was a state that seemed so familiar, yet foreign. It had felt as if it was so long since the village had been embroiled in war. And not so far back, it had been attacked directly, sustaining heavy damage, drawn into the chaos of violence. So often, it seemed, it was the people as a whole who suffered. Those normal folk who went about their daily lives that ended up the casualties, even as the shinobi put their lives on the line for them. Too often, it was the innocent who were targeted by the demented and the cruel. And far too often, the civilians were drawn into the line of fire by those who would were ultimately after the lives and the secrets of the ninja here. 100 years was a long time, but didn't seem quite so long, from the man sitting here.
He sat here now, his mind having wondered for a time. But now his blue, featureless gaze would trace across the streets below, the bustling, healthy activity. They rose slowly to the buildings around them, and further up, towards the series of roof tops, with occasional activity above. His eyes, however, would find themselves settling on a faint, purplish glow. Logan would raise himself from the seat of the wall, glancing down over the village before descended, sliding down the wall jumping from it to the roof of a building, setting himself into a run, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, racing to the building where he had caught the hint of violet. He reached it, he would find no clear trace of the source, even as sinister movements had since begun below, a series of traps placed, set to cause chaos unknown to most within the village.
Logan could not help but feel uneasy. In an instant, his eyes flowed with chakra, The faintest sigh of definition forming near the center of the blue ellipses. As they activated, a new world opened up, that of the chakra, invisible to normal eyes. He found traces of it there, a chakra he didn't recognize, one with a rather unearthly, violet tint. He would shift his gaze, finding a faint trail below, leading out of sight of the streets. He would jump down from there, catching himself on an awning below, before reaching the street level and quickly giving pursuit. His eyes extended their search, looking for a sign of the source. In the process, he notice something more dire. Explosive tags, bearing hints of the source chakra. He drew a kunai, quickly slashing the ones in the immediate area, his eyes constantly searching, and finding many many more in the process. There were too many, and too little time. He had to warn the ninja of the village. Exiting the hidden ways, he slipped past the crowd, creating more of scene than he intended, but dare not call out the danger readily, lest he caused a panic. He approached a pair of chunin, the two shinobi aware enough of Logan's status to know he meant no joke. "We have an intruder. There have been explosive placed through out the village. We need to inform the Hokage, and alert the other ninja immediately. We need damage control prepared to stop the tags, and evacuation of civilians begun. We need to save as may lives as possible, but must avoid a riot if we can." He ordered them, with an uncharacteristic number of words.
The two shinobi could only nod with a "sir!" and a stressed but focused look, before turning and rushing off with the body flicker technique. One be-lined for the hokage's office, another rushed to alert the other shinobi, heading towards the military police headquarters, informing any shinobi they could along the way. Those who picked up the message would immediately get to work, sensory ninja going to work to detect the tags and search for other traps. Many would attempt to find the cause as well, with as of yet, no success. Members of the military police going off to alert and direct civilians to safety, avoiding a high alert as of yet to prevent panic. Other shinobi focused straight on going after and disabling the tags. There was some success, but as Logan searched the village with his eyes, he realized quickly it was too late to stop this. Searching for the strongest source of the chakra he had detected, he found a fresh trail, and began pursuit, following it with his feet and his eyes, slashing and destroying any tags he could as he continued to track. His penetrative gaze was catching up long before he did.

Then, finally, nearly an hour from his initial spotting of the treat, he saw his target. His vision telescoped to the source, to a pair of violet eyes far off in the distance, speeding to the center of the village. A humaniod figure would reach the spot, clad heavily in black herself. His gaze followed this figure, through the solid material of the buildings, penetrating below the surface of her form, revealing a body that was something other than human. His attention would never leave her movements, as he followed as quickly as his feet could carry him. However, time was up. The efforts of the shinobi of the leaf would manage to stop quite a few explosive tags, and many civilians would be directed to safe houses and bunkers set in various parts of and outside of the village. Their noble efforts were too little, too late. The efforts to counter this attack had taken too long to come into fruition, and there were still so many tags set in key parts of the village. Before Logan himself had come anywhere close to her position, the woman had formed the seal, and activated the tags. Ignitions began, explosions swiftly following, moving across the village in slightly scattered order. Buildings collapsed, and lives, shionbi and civilian alike, would be lost. First the market district would be hit, buildings along the bazaar crumbling as smoke rose high. Then the residential district was hit, multiple building quickly succumbing. Near the end of the rising chaos, and screams of fear and panic, the mountain above, bearing the faces of the Kage, was lit by explosives. Blasts erupted from above, and stone and earth fell upon the scarred village, signaling the full force of the seemingly lone attacker. The Hyuga had to focus, he had to trust the others to do their jobs, and do what he could to bring this to an end.

Saya Uchiha
Genin

Saya Uchiha sighed as she looked around the village. She was just having a normal day until explosions scattered across the village. She really didn’t want to get involved in anything, but she would if she had to. She ran across the rooftops that weren’t affected by the explosions, looking for people that were hurt. She would help with the evacuation effort and try to get the people that were hurt out.

“This way!” she would call out to the confused villagers below her. “Follow this path until you get to the gates!”

Once she was satisfied that everyone in one area was gone, she would move onto the next. She just hoped she wouldn’t run into the person attacking the village.

Descartes, Kagami
Your Worst Nightmare

The amount of explosions were far less than the specter had hoped for, but the general feeling around the village and the sheer amount of wreckage, rubble, and death that filled the air was enough to slat her disappointment for the moment. A sickening smile crossing her face, though hidden behind the mask on her face, as smoke rose into the sky while the remains of the Hokage monument rained down. If she was not on a mission the Descartes would dance in the mist of their despair and ruin. Oh how many where lost? How many tags had the skilled shinobi found and disarmed? Still even, how many were caught in the thick of it trying to save their home? How Kagami wished she could watch them shed their mortal coils from the tags, collapsing buildings, and the sheer chaos of the situation. That was till 'He' came, Kagami's true target, Logan, the male was not too far behind her though she was careful to conceal herself till the trigger of the explosion.

Those Byakugan eyes staring over her puppet body seemed to stir a feeling deep within her, 'Hatred' Kagami mentally muttered the word to herself as she returned a much softer look. Her young, teen body shifting in place at her command. Small hands and slender arms seem to try and cover her small form from the sight of this man. In the sweetest, cutest voice she can muster, Kagami would bat her dewy eyes at him, "Mister Hyuuga! I-I know about those eyes....they can see through various materials, so..." She shakes her head quickly while yelling out in the same voice, "Is it not inappropriate to stare at my nubile body so intensely~!" The imagine of a cute, young, teen shinobi is what was presented to this male, Logan, though inside is what mattered and hers was darker than the night's sky during a new moon. Her lithe arms drop to her sides, almost lifelessly, as she leans forward and stares back at the Hyuuga. "But....that is okay...embrace thus feelings. Lust, anger, Pride...feed them stoke that flame and ignite me~!" The sweetness in her voice washed with in an instance as she spoke this time.

Her arms return the front of her, though not to hide her young, nubile body from the prying eyes of the short male, but to make a few hand seals before chains come from every direction, from the ground beneath him, the ruined walls of the buildings around him, and even the sky above him! This chains lashing out trying to catch Logan, and if one did it would make the others easier to land as well, and render the ancient Hyuuga motionless and open from being bound by the countless chains. As those ghostly chains blocked out the vision of her target, her Kon blood would shine through as she seemingly split allowing this second Kagami to immediately go into hiding amongst the ruins and rubble around the two of them. "So boy~ Got anything you wish to say, or is this going to be one of those long silent, and awkward things?" She would cross her lithe arms over her chest while speaking. "Lets make this fun...You can do what ever perverse things to my body that you want, if you win." She would end her statement with a playful wink. The specter trying to distract him from her 'twin'. This other Kagami would only appear once more after finishing a set of hand seals, and firing a large fire ball into the sky over this battleground. From it came seven flaming dragons which took no time to rain down from the heavens, each aiming towards the Hyuuga, and coming down from all different sides and angles.

Laharal: Chakratech OrphanUser Image
Laharal would continue to lead the group, calling out to them in regular intervals, speaking out loudly as he could, trying desperately above the chaos. “Stay together! Follow me and keep moving. We'll get out of here as soon as I can.” As he made his way, he was thankful to see signs of others in action. He had not been the only one to try and stop this hidden attack, as he had suspected. But now it was confirmed. He saw ninja exploring the wreckage for survivors, others fighting the open flames that had been started in the attack. Water ninja set to douse the flames, earth ninja to smother them and to move the rubble, wind users doing much the same. Medical ninja were immediately on the scene to help the injured. Sensory ninja split their focus between hunting for survivors, and hunting the culprit. And the police corps were busy directing the civilians to safety and controlling panic.
Laharal would do his best in the meantime, unaware he was being watched as the gates were apparent in the distance. As he drew near, however, he was given pause by sudden movement to the side of him. From above, another explosion erupting not far off. A building descended due to the blast. Then, suddenly from the roof of the building, a woman descended, with a level finesse would wouldn't expect from such a situation. She landed right beside him, stopping the young ninja in his tracks. Laharal just stared at her with wide eyes for several moments. “Um... I... Um, are you ok?” He would begin, only for in shrug silently and walk off, much to the confusion of the crowd and himself. He would turn back to the others, calling to them once more. “Keep moving.” He urged them, turning back to lead them towards the gates. Amid his path, however, A member of the Police force moved out in front of him. “Alright kid, good job. I'll take over from here. Get to safety.” Laharal could only say “Ok...” With that, he left the crowds behind. Rather than finding somewhere to hunker down, he made his way out to the source of the explosions. He was intent not to leave this to the other ninja, intent to save more lives if he could.
Laharal rushed out around the rubble, glancing up at the skyline, to the columns of smoke that rose. Amid the scene before him, he noticed a new light emerge. A large fireball became visible around the edges of several buildings. Another explosions, or something else? The kid paced himself, slipping along the edges of the rubble, and those buildings untouched by the damage. He would make his way back where he had come from, slowly, closer and closer to the source, heading from the village gates, towards the very center. Perhaps, he wondered, was he heading to something more than the remains of the initial attack. This was perhaps a battle. Perhaps the ninja of the leaf had finally found the source of the attack. They had found the infiltrator. This thought made Laharal freeze up, nearly falling over as he came to a stop.
“I... am I ready?” He would ask himself. If he was right about that assumption, dangerous would be putting it lightly. The ninja they were up against were capable of avoiding detection up until this point. Laharal doubted, if this was the case, that he would be much use. None the less, what if it was another explosion, what if there were people there, either way, who were in need of help. This happening was in the very middle of the village. Who knew who could get caught in the crossfire. His hands clenched, and he closed his eyes for several moments. He would go. He had to try.

Logan would draw in close to Kagami, halting himself before he would draw within sight of the human puppet person. He would form a seal, directing a small portion of his chakra into two shadow clones. It would be one of his clones that approached the woman, rather than the main body, who alongside the other, watched from a distance as he set himself at a vantage point. She would turn to his clone expectantly, her deceptively adorable voice ringing through the air. She flirted disgustingly, while intent to feed off of the negativity in the air. His clone, none the less, stood before her meeting her hatred-filled gaze with calm, but focused stare from his blue Byakugan. As she raised her hands, making hand seals, he would make them in return. The clone, would however, be caught in the genjutsu cast. He would be enveloped by illusionary chains, followed by the ethereal ones, which began to drain his chakra as they enveloped him, their bonds holding him up, the hooks digging into the cloth, as she urged him to speak.
None the less, the clone would speak up for him. “You spoke of my eyes, you corrupted creature... Yet you've no idea, what these eyes can see. I see a corpse, twisted to look like a a teenager. You hide the truth behind an illusion. You feed off of the suffering of others, their misery, and their rage.” Meanwhile, she had released a clone of her own out to hide and attack from a distance, her flirting unceasing. “This is nothing but a game to you, isn't it. Death, and suffering, and this demented play you attempt to put on.” A fireball was released out from the clone of Kagmi, and as it erupted in the sky, dragon shaped flames surged down upon Logan's clone. Before he was enveloped, he made one last statement. “And that perverse mind is even more twisted.” Flames erupted over his position, hiding the puff of smoke from within.
As the clone was dispersed, though, Kagami would find herself effected by a genjutsu of Logan's own. In her mind, a tree would emerged from her feet, enveloping and binding her legs, the trunk rising behind her, branches and roots alike enveloping her limbs to bind them close. The air around her was left heavy with the smoke from her attack.
With the partial cover of the smoke, Logan would emerge swiftly from behind Kagami. In reaching her position, he would gather chakra into his hand, striking while her mind would be distracted with the genjutsu. The blast was directed straight for the center of her back at close range. The power behind it easily enough to shatter stone.

User Image Achana stalked off toward the sounds of what could only be discerned as combat. The sound of jutsu being activated and a girl's voice followed by the pops of when clones were formed. This was an open attack and one that was not concealed at all in the least bit, so getting in on the action and making some observations was going to be easy. Spying and prying on those that were more skilled than herself in order to get a leg up on the competition was going to be an essential part of her plan in making the perfect world in her dream to become the new and greatest sixth Kage of the great five.

As Achana reached the area were the two; Logan and Kagami, were squaring off, she looked around from the safety of her alley shadows for a place to perch and quickly scaled a nearby building were she sat down on a ledge to watch the two go at it in a fight for right and wrong, weak and strong. It brought a smirk to her lips as she reached up and tightened her Hidden Sound Village headband. It was her pride that drove her to recon work in the Hidden Leaf, rather than extend an helping hand. Self-serving, self-employed, and all about making the Sound a better place to be than Leaf as it stood... This was part of the Sonozaki Yakuza family's aspiration in bringing their criminal network out into lands beyond Rice, and expanding their protection to people of other nations while bringing in the protection racket money.

As Logan moved about the field of combat with his strange attack patterns, she could only assume he was attempting to utilize genjutsu in pair with clone techniques against Kagami. It was intriguing, though highly boring. He spoke about his eyes...and from what she could see from her vantage point, he was utilizing a doujutsu of the Hyuuga family. Though one of his eyeballs seemed off for the Byakugan, and it only made Achana laser in on every detail. She wasn't above vulturing in on the kill...whoever won or lost, their body would make a valuable source of study in the Hidden Sound Village and new advances in Kekkai-Genkai research could be made either way. It was all just a matter of being patient and letting things work themselves out while innocent lives were caught in the cross-fire.

Descartes, Kagami
Your Worst Nightmare

It had seemed she was making quick friends with this Hyuuga boy, least he still looked like a child, though it seems he saw through her very nature. This revelation of her nature only brought forth a laugh, a dark, demented, hollow one, that eerily seemed to echo within just the town center where the two were 'playing' her twisted game. "A game? With pieces as worthless as these?!" Would be the specter's reply to the man claiming her to be an inhuman monster, "...But I mean, honestly, I would have been disappointed if you were the type to fall for such a pitiful act of innocence~!" As she spoke she raised her arms as if to draw his attention to her ability to level a majority of such a major village. "No one matters...I am only hear to appease my boredom. I think a hundred years of peace is far too long, it is time for these next generation shinobi reawake their feelings of fear and hopelessness!" Even Kagami would laugh at herself after she so boldly called out the most cliché thing she could think of.

It came as no surprise that this boy let a Kage Bushin take the brunt of her dual chain combination and fire dragons. A poof of smoke joined within the mix of dust and debris within the air from her powerful assault. That was wen a tree would seem to sprout from under her and wrap her faux body up within it causing quite an alarm when her vessel seemed to be rooted in place. Not! That would have been her natural response had it not been such a low level Genjutsu used against her. If Logan was smart his attack would come from behind and smash the specter's body, or if he felt really brave a frontal attack to force the woman into despair of her weakness. "Oh no! What is this? What have you done to my body, coward!" Kagami would yell out at as the debris would slowly start to settle around her. The specter's violet eyes darting back and forth in her faint of panic. Of course she knew where he would come at her, as she could not see him before her, so it had to be from behind. This boy was not the only one capable of surprises, as she and her twin had a few tricks up their sleeves as well. First a surge of chakra washed through Kagami, freeing her from the Genjutsu, though she remained as if she were still stuck within the low level illusion. 'Come Come' said the spider to the fly, and spider was right as she would wait till the last few moments, then releasing an armor of golden threads around her body. The technique would trap the Hyuuga's hand as he strikes the puppet. "Too Slow, Mister Hyuuga!" The spirit's voice would call out from all around the impromptu battlefield all at once. As the air cleared around them a new sight was to be had; that of Kagami floating in the air still within her puppet body, but not just the few that had been on the field before... Including the one that held Logan's arm in place by sticky spiderlike webbing there was now over a hundred of her.

Each of these clones were unlike any normal variant of the technique as each of them were Kagami, as if now the village was filled with a grand total of a hundred and one of her. The puppet that Logan currently found himself stuck to would look over her shoulder by turning her head a full hundred eighty degrees and grapple onto to his arm with her own, "That was a bad mistake Mister....you should never hit a lady." Her grip tightens down locking her onto his arm, and making sure his palm would remain glued in place by the sticky armor. As that Kagami held the boy in place another came in from his blindside and simply struck him with an open palm dead in the center of his back. "Tick Tock....Tick Tock..." All the Kagami would start chanting in unison while circling around the male, just a few feet outside of his reach.

The woman, if one could still call her that, would laugh at his response, unperturbed in the least by his recognition of her true nature. Her only response to her consideration of the situation as a game was another bad joke. She would continue to sicken him with her words, even after her attack had destroyed his clone, lamenting the long fought for peace, that she wanted to ensure to last all too short. She expressed her joy in the panic and sorrow she had initiated, laughing to herself once more. And this was all, by her words, to bring and end to her boredom. Such a dull, empty existence, it truly represented. It would almost be enough to make one pity her, or at least want to. The things she had already done had pushed her beyond being worthy of such sentiment. Though now her mind had seemingly been distracted, at least too all appearances, long enough to not be ready for the genjutsu that overtook her. Her body would quickly be drawn in place as if held against a beam by invisible binds. She would struggle under disruption, seeming shifting from her previous confident air, to that of a frightened child, calling out to him as she fought the illusionary branches and roots. Whether it was real or not, one could not have told, were it not for her manipulative and demented nature being shown only moments earlier.
Logan had now emerged, his eyes seeing the shift in her chakra. While he wouldn't see her released from the tree itself, the sudden disruption of it's flow would lend him a hint. He hadn't expected it to hold her for long, but had hoped it would last long enough for him to make his mark. As he drew in close, he would notice a sudden shift beyond the clearing smoke. None the less, she had reacted with a sudden quickness, just before his palm could make contact and release his chakra, a golden silk erupted out from the puppet's body, enveloping his hand. And all around him, now, the air was filled with over 101 of the same puppet woman, apparently, calling him slow. He was quick to focus redirect the focus of his chakra, not just in his hand, but throughout his whole body. The puppet woman, meanwhile would turn her head all the way around, in a clearly unnatural manner. She launched her arms back onto him, holding him attached to her further, her arms left gripping tightly onto the thick cloth of his cloak and shirt below. Now from the many Kagami around him, one sped towards him from behind, her movements only partially obscured to his Byakugan. “You spoke of thriving in the terror and hopelessness of others. Well... I will be here, alongside all the other shinobi of this village, and those of our allies, and all of the world who have and would fight for peace, to kill that fear, and to wash away that despair.” Though his timing was not quite as precise as Kagami's moves, he timed himself as well, waiting until the second Kagami had drawn in close, initiating her attack, and just as her hand was thrust towards him, from chakra points all over his body, a powerful blast erupted.
Gentle Fist Art: Body Blow The surge of chakra would repel and shatter the golden armor, and wrench her hands from him as well, the force sufficient to knock both her and her twin back, before the latter could make contact. He followed this by drawing 2 kunai, gripping onto the their paper-covered handles tightly for a moment as he turned his head quickly, watching for more movement, tossing them at each of the Kagami he had just repelled, as he jumped upwards.
Meanwhile, within him something stirred. Something within sensed a disturbance in the flow of his chakra. With a chilling shutter, his chakra flow was disrupted for an instant. The genjutsu around that had been placed over this place would be dispelled. All the while, Logan could feel his mind flowing to the thoughts of the past events, of the attack, of the explosions, and the death, the return of death and suffering to this place, to his home. To the sadistic joy this woman... no... this parasite had derived from what she inflicted. He couldn't, he wouldn't allow this to continue, allow her to continue this. In truth, there were emotions. There was anger, and sorrow, and though his eyes worked to hide them as he fought, and as they continued to focus and analyze the world and the constant changes in this battlefield, it was there, slowly rising, urging him to ensure this couldn't happen again.

Laharal: Chakratech OrphanUser Image
Laharal made his way further and further into the village. As he would travel, he found further evidence of the destruction wrought. Buildings were crumbled, with stone shattered, wood splintered, glass broken, and metal bent out of shape. Among the remains were hints of blood. Meanwhile, ninja were still present all around, working to find the remains of those lost, and recover those whom were injured, but had not yet left this plane of existence. Others had taken notice of the activity from within the village and were drawn towards the source, heading towards the center of the village as well to find the source. Among those that were traveling, he had caught a glimpse of that same woman from before. She, as far as he could remember, wasn't a normal inhabitant of the village. He breathed just a bit heavily as he attempted to keep up with her, as she seemed keenly aware of what was happening.

Eventually he would arrive upon the scene near the center, where the place had been hit, perhaps its hardest. rubble was all about and there was hardly a sign of life, up until one was left with a wall of figures, women, it seemed, floating and clad in dark clothing. They, as far as he could see, appeared nearly identical. Was this some sort of clone jutsu? He kept himself hidden in the rubble as he drew closer, catching a glimpse of on of the remaining buildings above, of the woman from before, watching from above. The cloned woman, meanwhile was focused upon a figure within. That figure before her was clearly that of the Hyuga Clan's Head. He recognized the man enough fro the clothing he had always worn, and the unique blue Byakugan he bore. Those blue eyes blue as Laharal's own, active and penetrating the details all around him. And it was clear that the woman had created his small army to surround and contain the Hyuga, intent to use numbers to overwhelm him. Though outnumbered, he seemed the most suitable to fight this sort of opponent. For a moment, however, he had seemed two of the clones had pinned him in, one capturing him with a strange golden material, the other moving in to finish him off, only for him to repel them both with a burst of chakra. The Hyuga would then throw a kunai at each, rising into the air, as the environment seemed to shift just a bit. A genjutsu over the area had been dispelled.
Laharal's own eyes would gaze around, searching for the source of the change. But he would quickly remember, he was here to help. But, he had would have to be careful. If he got involved in a fight between jounin level ninja, he was certain he would stand no chance in any direct conflict. But, he couldn't just sit and watch, and not lift a finger to help. How though, how could he?

Achana Sonozaki watched the two highly skilled combatants clash back and forth as the two seemed more than capable of unleashing terrors of their own. Normally, it would be all about maintaining stealth and not trying to be seen as she sat on the ledge of the building. From her vantage point, she could see everything, and being out of range of the genjutsu was a plus as she didn't have to experience the feelings of her mind being messed with. The raven haired girl of the yakuza family and the Hidden Sound Village simply pulled out a small box of mints and popped one into her mouth as she continued the observations.

Kagami's words spoke to Achana, though, in some way. This world did indeed need a dose of fear, hopelessness, and despair once more. It was time to shake the foundations of complacency and to awaken the beast, in a manner of speaking. Not literally, in some cases as the times when Jinchuuriki once were used as secret weapons of Hidden Villages was in the past. As Achana suckled on the mint contemplating the words spoken in the heat of battle, she couldn't help but wonder what a destabilization of the Hidden Leaf would mean in context with the others of the Great Five. If Leaf was to face some sort of ruin or attack, then the others surely would need to feel the same fear and despair in order to make the threat real? Maybe this was on the weird girl's down below 'to do list'? For now, the Hidden Sound Genin just continued to watch like a black cat, lazily perched on a high place. There was no reason for her to involve herself in the trivial matters, it would only complicate things if she were to anyway.

There was much to be learned from the two combatants as they clashed though, the use of clones, the use of a doujutsu, sticky chakra. All of this was incredibly entertaining to behold. Achana simply took mental notes on this to use for the advancement of her future skills. Both, Kagami and Logan, had much to show an aspiring future Otokage, and leader of the Hidden Sound Village. She was going to work hard to see her ambitions and dreams come to life, just like these two shining examples of power and skill seemed to have done.

No matter which side Achana may or may not be rooting for internally, these lessons were not to be ignored. The essence of studying your opponents and members of other Villages was a tenant highly stressed in the Hidden Sound Village. Knowledge being half the battle, for most. In the Hidden Sound Village, knowledge was everything, and so the Hidden Sound genin began to pull out her notebook and begin jotting down details about each of the ninja involved in the confrontation. Their assumed height, skills used, Village affiliations... Though she couldn't tell were Kagami was from, if from anywhere. It was highly unlikely she was anything but a rogue kunoichi, as no Village would send a single unit to assault another. That seemed like plain old suicide, though this Kagami girl seemed more than capable of handling herself, and this was added to the notes.

Then this brought Achana to finally noticing, from her vantage point, the same blonde kid from earlier. Another Leaf ninja. Of course, being in the Leaf Village, it only made sense for her to encounter shinobi and kunoichi with the Konohagakure affiliation. Did it make it less annoying? No, not really. Though it was again worth noting in her notes she planned to return and deliver to intelligence and operations for consideration and application to work in the field. This did seem to be an appropriate task for a Genin anyway, not fighting. Stealth, subterfuge, espionage, and intelligence gathering were just part of how Hidden Sound tended to operate. Though, she couldn't help but wonder if the kid below was going to die or not. It wouldn't phase her anyway. Death needed to happen, despair and anguish needed to be felt, and loss and fear needed to rise once more and rear it's ugly head to plunge things back into the days of chaos that once reigned.

Descartes, Kagami
Your Worst Nightmare

This fight was getting annoying, the Hyuuga was a bore to tease or speak with as he held every word she said to heart. His uptight, and up right, nature made the specter sick beyond imagine. Then a kid appeared, but her mood was already soured and no mercy would be had to either of these boys. A single blink, and a series of eyes would open on her forehead and along with her already active Ultimate Eye was the HuyaiMetsuki and a third eye on her forehead, this was her own ultimate combination of doujutsu as it showed her what ever she desired while allowing her to perceive time slower, and make her attacks far more accurate. She was a monster and it was time she acted as such to prove her point.

Her twin would have the time and pinpoint accuracy to slap that seal right on Logan's back, and right were he could not reach it. Not that he would be able to remove it if he could. The higher perceive, along with her ultimate eye, even allowed Kagami to see as chakra pooled within the boy's tenkai before the activation of his body blow technique. It gives her enough time take a step back well before it goes off. "Too slow, mortal." She would say as her leap back ruffles her black cloak. Wait had her cloak always had those red clouds on it? The symbolic uniform of the Akatsuki, and the Tama ring glinted in the light of the moon as she brushed a lock of violet hair from her face. "So how long till you no longer work? Then who will stop me from killing that boy....and razing the village to the ground? Or is your hope so weak to die here?" Her words were ice cold as she crossed her arms over her chest with a sigh. It would also seem the air was higher quality now as well. The specter was still bored though so in a snap the bright, full moon seem to start shrinking away, growing darker as the remaining light slowly whittled down. Once the moon was to a crescent it stopped shrinking, its light enough to dose the area in shadows. These shadows seem to hide the ghostly woman, her twin, and all her clones.

"Can those eyes of yours find me?" The hundred and one of them spoke at once while the Specter's twin appears from the shadows behind Laharal with a large scythe coming quickly to curve around the base of his neck stopping inches from killing the young kid. 'Or...how about we make a trade. Your life or his?" Now with the choices set by the vicious spirit, the Hyuuga just had to choose what was the more important to him. The ghostly woman's puppet buddy lightly shook like a shiver as she awaited Logan's answer, "Tick Tock! Hyuuga Boy, do not take too long or my hand might slip."
