The day was rolling to an end, the moon moving out to drench the land in a silver glow as a figure danced beneath it. Her form was lean and toned, a true lioness with seasoned form. Running down towards the distant dens, it was hard, if not impossible to tell that this lioness was carrying cubs. A surprise even Tisha was not expecting to discover.

Slowing down to catch her breath, she walked out of the grasses and towards Asi's den, her ears downcast before she paused. It was easy confronting her daughter and son as to why they left, or even hunting down the largest of wildebeests, but this was a whole other story. For once, she would need to tell the mate that she was pregnant, and he wouldn't be leaving any time soon.

Looking to the sky, she felt her eyes water a bit when a new thought crossed her mind.

"Oh Ari...I'm so sorry..."

Asi was sitting outside of his den, enjoying the sunshine. Lately nto much had been happening but something big was brewing in the air, he had no clue what. He would find out soon enough what Adamu knew. But for now he was in much better spirits. He'd even gained back some of that precious weight to an adult male of his size, looking a little like his old self.

He smiled slowly and stood, stretching. He began to move away from his den, perhaps headed for the watering hole.

Containing herself from the familiar mood swing, she tried to think of the positive side of the situation. They were building a new life, hopefully one that would make the lioness proud. A family to build the pride that she had worked so hard to create, Tisha only could hope that Ari would look down and give her blessing to the lands.

Looking to where she paused, she realized she was between the water hole and the dens, and turned towards her destination. Letting out a surprised eep, and right away cursing the sound, she realized she was looking right at who she was searching for.

"Okay, here goes nothing..." And she slowly made her way towards the male who had just left his dens.

He wasn't really looking at anything until Tisha came into view. A great full smile fell onto his lips as he continued forward, bowing his head to her. "Tisha, be good teh see yah." He called, tail flicking. Now he could have some company to the watering hole!

She had really been what had uplifted his spirits these last few weeks, to be honest.
