Source of Evil

Here is a debate that has been around for centuries. So I want to hear your ideas. Where did evil come from?

isnt evil relative to what you think is evil like some people think tattoos are evil and stuff

Evil is the opposite of the Holiness of God. Satan choose to follow in disobedience, therefore he became evil.

I prefer using the term "wickedness" instead.

I'd have to say... society.
By allowing the ruling ones to make rules so they can control us.
We give up part of our freedom and the group runs more smoothly.
They made up the concept to define what they don't like.

Evil exists because Good exists. but God did not create evil. all things God made were originally good

This shouldnt even be an argument. Sin didn't come from us, we got it from adam and eve. but they got sin from eating of the forbidden fruit. but where it came from, from there? there is NO scriptual basis stating where the beginning of sin came from.

did it come from satan? who's to say. he WAS considered one of the most beautiful angels among everyone in heaven at the time. but who's to say it didn't come before that.

we dont' know what existed before us and the earth other than what we know of the bible. there really isn't any debate to this. there is no known scriptual evidence to state where it came from unless im wrong and someone has some verses to show.

yes they were. the first HUMANS to sin. not the first beings. Lucifer had already sinned.

i dont think satan is the source of all evil. i mean sure he tempts people but he's not the one who makes the ultimate and final decision. that is up to us. if given enough to tempt us and us not having a strong enough will and faith, they we will fall prey to him.
